REKONTRUKSI SITUS KUTA LUBOK BERDASARKAN METODE GROUND PENETRATING RADAR (GPR)
Description
ABSTRAKTelah dilakukan penelitian metode ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) di situs Kuta Lubok Desa Lamreh, Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan keberadaan benteng Kuta Lubok yang terkubur di dalam tanah berdasarkan pencitraan gelombang elektromagnetik berfrekuensi tinggi. Pada penelitian ini digunakan instrumen GPR yang diproduksi oleh Ingegneria Dei System S.P,A Radar For Soil Investigation (IDS RIS) frekuensi tunggal (80 MHz). Pengukuran GPR dibuat 12 lintasan; Lintasan 1 sampai 10 berarah dari Selatan ke Utara dengan panjang lintasan bervariasi antara 65 sampai 30 meter. Lintasan 11 dan 12 diukur dari arah Barat ke Timur dengan panjang lintasan masing-masing 105 meter. Setelah dilakukan process move start time, background removal, vertical bandpass filter(td), linear Gain, smooth Gain pada data lapangan didapat 2 tampilan reflektor paling dominan pada setiap lintasan, yaitu reflektor datar dan reflektor miring. Reflektor datar diduga sebagai kontruksi badan jalan di tengah benteng sedangkan reflektor miring diduga sebagai bedrock. Kata Kunci: Ground Penetrating Radar, geofisika arkeologi, reflektor, metode elektromagnetik.ABSTRACTGround Penetrating Radar (GPR) measurement has been conducted at archeological site of Kuta Lubok in Lamreh village, District of Aceh Besar. This research is aimed to reconstruct part of Kuta Lubok fort that had been buried. GPR instrument with single frequency of 80 MHz produced by Ingeneria Dei System (IDS) was used for the measurement. GPR data were collected in 12 profiles. Profiles 1 to 10 were measured from South to North direction. Lengths of the profiles vary from 30 to 65 meters and distance between the profiles is 10 meters. Profiles 11 and 12 were directed from West to East with 105 meters distances. We have done move start time, background removal, vertical band-pass filter, linear gain, and smooth gain processes to the raw data. After the processes, two reflectors (i.e. flat and tilt) are dominantly found in each profile. The flat reflector inside the fort is predicted as ex road construction and the tilted reflector is predicted depth of bedrock in the area.
