CRITICAL SUCCES FACTORS PELAKSANAAN PROYEK KONSTRUKSI JALAN DAN JEMBATAN DI KABUPATEN PIDIE JAYA

Construction projects in Pidie Jaya district has increased in many sectors, one of which is the infrastructure of roads and bridges. Implementation of road and bridge construction projects are experiencing success is influenced by many factors critical to project implementation. To study the factors that support the implementation of road and bridge construction projects , the research objective are identify the top 5 category and top 10 Critical success factors in the implementation of road and bridge projects in the Public Works Department of Pidie Jaya district. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire survey with the target respondent was the Owner and Contractor engaged in road and bridge construction projects in the 2012 budget. The results indicate that the affect the success of the construction of roads and bridges in Pidie Jaya district include : ranked in the top 5 Critical Success Factors category consists of: Contractors category; the category Consultants / Team Planner; Project Management; Project Managers; and Owner. While ranking the top10 critical success factors are factors; the ability to solve problems; communication systems; effectiveness to make decisions; Owner emphasis on high quality construction; project monitoring; project manager leadership skills; capability engineering project manager; Owner emphasis on rapid construction; Owner project management; and adequacy of funds
