PENGARUH RISIKO KEUANGAN, NILAI PERUSAHAAN,RNKEPEMILIKAN MANAJERIAL, DAN UKURANRNPERUSAHAAN TERHADAP PERATAAN LABA PADARNPERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR YANG TERDAFTAR DIRNBURSA EFEK INDONESIA

ABSTRACTThe objectives of this research are to examine (1) the effect of financialrisk on income smoothing, (2) the effect of firm value on income smoothing, (3)the effect of managerial ownership on income smoothing, and (4) the effect of firmsize on income smoothing.Data were collected from the financial statements of the manufacturecompanies that listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange. Research conducted in 3years (2011-2013). By using purposive sampling and balanced panel data, thereare 34 companies fulfilling the population criteria. The binary logistic regressionanalysis model is used to test the hypothesis.The result of this research are (1) financial risk does not affect the incomesmoothing, (2) firm value does not affect the income smoothing, (3) managerialownership does not affect the income smoothing, (4) firm size has affected theincome smoothing, with 0,03 significant level.Keywords: financial risk, firm value, managerial ownership, firm size, and incomesmoothingxABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji (1) pengaruh risiko keuanganterhadap perataan laba, (2) pengaruh nilai perusahaan terhadap perataan laba, (3)pengaruh kepemilikan manajerial terhadap perataan laba, dan (4) pengaruh ukuranperusahaan terhadap perataan laba.Data diperoleh dari laporan keuangan perusahaan manufaktur yangterdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Periode penelitian adalah 3 tahun yaitu tahun2011-2013. Dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan balance data,ada 40 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria populasi. Binary logistic regressiondigunakan untuk menguji hipotesis.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) risiko keuangan tidak berpengaruhterhadap perataan laba, (2) nilai perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap perataanlaba, (3) kepemilikan manajerial tidak berpengaruh terhadap perataan laba, dan(4) ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap perataan laba, dengan tingkatsignifikansi 0,03.Kata Kunci: risiko keuangan, nilai perusahaan, kepemilikan manajerial, ukuranperusahaan dan perataan laba
