In this case, family need some effort of health information to make their independence in prevention of ARI will increasing with various method of education. The purpose of this research was to find out the effecctivity difference of education and lecture method for family independence in toddlers Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI). The method of this research was a cross sectional research design device of pretest and postest with family who had toddlers with ARI experienced at community health centers Simpang Tiga Aceh Besar as the population. The sample was selected by using a purposive sampling with amount of sample counted 101 respondent become 3 group (group of coeval education, lecture group, control group).
