Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dan motivasi terhadap penggunaan pemutih kulit wajah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan desain cross sectional survey. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswi Pendidikan Dokter Universitas Syiah Kuala. Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 154 orang, 77 orang yang menggunakan pemutih kulit wajah dan 77 orang sebagai sampel pembanding.. Penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik probability sampling, yaitu dengan teknik stratified random sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik Chi Square. Terdapat 154 sampel yang terdiri dari 54 orang (35,1%) angkatan 2009, 50 orang (32,5%) angkatan 2010 dan 50 orang (32,5%) angkatan 2011. Hasil dari 77 orang responden yang menggunakan pemutih kulit wajah, yang memiliki pengetahuan baik sebanyak 56 orang (72,7%) dan sebanyak 72 orang (93,5%) bermotivasi tinggi. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan dari hasil penelitian bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan baik dan motivasi tinggi terhadap penggunaan pemutih kulit wajah.Kata Kunci: pengetahuan, motivasi, pemutih kulit wajahVarious study showed that 55% dark-skinned Indonesian woman who wants to be whiter skin, so used skin bleaching products. The purpose of this study was determine the association between the level of knowledge and motivation of skin bleaching user. This study is an analytic cross sectional survey design. The population were students in Faculty of Medicine Syiah Kuala University. The number of samples were 154 students, 77 person used skin bleaching and 77 person as compared sample . Sampling was done by using probability sampling techniques, namely by stratiefied random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using Chi Square statistic. There were 154 samples in this study consisted of 54 person (35,1%) 2009 students, 50 person (32,5%) 2010 students and 50 person (32,5%) 2010 students. The result showed that from 77 user consist of 56 person (72,7%) have good knowledge and 72 person (93,5%) have high motivation. Creator An entity primarily responsible for making the resource Nurul Syakila Description An account of the resource Gangguan pendengaran akibat bising adalah gangguan pendengaran akibat terpapar oleh bising yang cukup keras ( > 85 dB) dalam jangka waktu lebih dari 2 jam dalam sehari. Gangguan pendengaran akibat bising tidak hanya terjadi di lingkungan kerja namun juga bisa terjadi akibat aktivitas mendengarkan musik menggunakan earphone. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lama paparan penggunaan earphone terhadap terjadinya gangguan pendengaran akibat bising. Desain penelitian ini adalah analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Subjek penelitian adalah 51 mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Syiah Kuala yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara quota sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara pembagian & pengisian kuesioner dan selanjutnya dilakukan pemeriksaan audiometri. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square dengan SPSS versi 17. Hasil penelitian mengenai hubungan antara lama paparan penggunaan earphone selama periode tahunan dengan gangguan pendengaran akibat bising didapatkan nilai (p=0,03) dan hubungan antara lama paparan periode jam dengan gangguan pendengaran akibat bising didapatkan nilai (p=0,024). Namun, hasil penelitian antara lama paparan periode harian dengan gangguan pendengaran akibat bising tidak didapatkan hubungan yang signifikan (p=0,203). Tujuan dari pemberian tes diakhir pembelajaran adalah untuk dapat menguatkan ingatan siswa dalam mengingat materi dan dari pemberian tes diakhir pembelajaran tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh, sedangkan yang menjadi sampelnya adalah siswa kelas X IA1 (kelas kontrol) dan kelas X IA3 (kelas eksperimen) dan masing-masing kelas berjumlah 21 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari: (1) instrumen hasil belajar berupa tes diakhir pembelajaran yang diberikan pada kelas eksperimen dan tes akhir yang diberikan pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, (2) instrumen respon siswa berupa angket. Selama penelitian ini tes diakhir pembelajaran diberikan sebanyak 2 kali, itu dikarenakan pertemuan dalam materi Relasi dan Fungsi hanya 4 JP (2 x pertemuan). Data angket siswa dianalisis dengan menghitung presentase yang diperoleh masing-masing siswa. Data yang tercantum dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil jawaban siswa (pada tes akhir) terhadap soal yang diberikan (berbentuk essay) sebanyak 5 butir soal. Data yang diperoleh tersebut dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik uji-t. Dari analisis data diperoleh thitung = 2,72 dan ttabel = 1,68 sehingga thitung > ttabel yaitu 2,72 > 168, artinya H0 di tolak, sehingga H1 diterima pada taraf signifikan ? = 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian tes diakhir pembelajaran dapat memberikan efek positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa atau dengan kata lain pemberian tes diakhir pembelajaran dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa menjadi lebih meningkat.
