Ketidaksesuaian konsep diri antara aspek tertentu dari kepribadian dan konsep diri dapat menjadi sumber stres dan konflik. Masalah yang timbul akibat dari kekeliruan konsep diri akan menimbulkan ketidakmampuan adaptasi komunikasi pada lingkungan baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan konsep diri dengan kemampuan adaptasi komunikasi mahasiswa baru di Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter Universitas Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini bersifat analitik observasional dengan desain cross sectional yang dilaksanakan pada 26 - 29 Desember 2014 selama terhadap 123 responden. Penilaian konsep diri menggunakan kuesioner Konsep Diri dan kuesioner Communicative Adaptability Scale (CAS) untuk menilai adaptasi komunikasi. Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji Fisher Exact Test didapatkan nilai (p = 0,022) yang menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara konsep diri dengan kemampuan adaptasi komunikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara konsep diri dengan kemampuan adaptasi komunikasi mahasiswa baru Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter Universitas Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh.Kata Kunci : Konsep Diri, Adaptasi Komunikasi, Mahasiswa Baru.ABSTRACTThe concept of self is one's self-image of himself which is self-perception of themselves, both physically, socially and psychologically derived from experience in interacting with others. Kebersihan rongga mulut yang buruk dapat meningkatkan prevalensi bakteremia sehingga memicu infeksi pada organ tubuh lainnya, seperti stroke hemoragik pada serebrum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran histopatologis serebrum tikus putih setelah diinfeksi S. mutans. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental laboratoris rancangan post test only control group dengan pendekatan split plot yang menggunakan 24 ekor tikus sebagai hewan coba. Tikus dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok kontrol yang diinjeksikan NaCl 0,9% dan kelompok perlakuan yang diinjeksikan 109 CFU/ml suspensi S. mutans. Tikus dieuthanasia pada hari ke-7, 14, 21 dan 30 lalu dinekropsi untuk pengambilan serebrum guna pembuatan preparat histopatologis. Hasil penelitian yang dianalisis secara deskriptif menunjukkan adanya hiperemi dan infiltrasi sel radang pada semua kelompok perlakuan. Pada hari ke-14, 21 dan 30 terjadi peningkatan kerusakan berupa hemoragi dan nekrosis sel. Ruptur pembuluh darah terjadi pada hari ke-30. One easy way to quickly identify plagiarism is by the university proactively conducting a deep examination of papers written by members of their academic community before it is published. Nowadays, there are several anti-plagiarism software that can assist to quickly conduct these plagiarism examinations. However, because of these many choices of antiplagiarism software, even freely available software, sometime it is hard to choose the most suitable software to use. This paper report on the result from a study that compare several freely available anti-plagiarism software with the hope it can help universities on deciding which one to use. This study chose the top six highest ranked software that were produced from several search engine with the keyword "free anti plagiarism software", whichare: Plagiarisma.Net, Viper, The Plagiarism Checker, Dupli Checker, Plag Tracker and Small Seo Tools Plagiarism Checker. The study employed several important parameters in comparing these anti-plagiarism software, which are: accuracy, validation time, the diversity of format text, number of characters/words, ease of use, report, and security. Kotak ultraviolet LED ( LED UV BOX) dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pengujian kekerasan semen, dan intensitasnya dapat diatur sesuai dengan tingkat yang diinginkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengerasan semen dipengaruhi oleh paparan radiasi ultraviolet, proses pengerasan semen berlangsung secara lebih lambat dan waktu pengerasan semen menjadi 24,7 % lebih lama. The artificial UV radiation source for this investigation was from an array of 18 ultraviolet LEDs that generates 123 lux of UV radiation. Kecemasan dan depresi yang dirasakan dalam jangka waktu yang lama dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup pasien tuberkulosis paru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kecemasan dan depresi dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien tuberkulosis paru di Balai Kesehatan Paru Masyarakat Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional study dan metode pengumpulan data purposive sampling terhadap 58 responden. Alat pengumpul data berupa kuesioner yang terdiri dari 40 item pernyataan berbentuk skala likert dengan skala ukur ordinal. Metode analisis data dengan menggunakan uji statistik chi-square hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara kecemasan dan depresi (P-value 0,474) dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien tuberkulosis paru di Balai Kesehatan Paru Masyarakat Banda Aceh. Diharapkan kepada Balai Kesehatan Paru Masyarakat adalah membuat kebijakan untuk mengurangi kecemasan dan depresi yang dialami oleh setiap pasien, sedangkan untuk perawat adalah selalu memberikan support untuk mengurangi kecemasan dan depresi, yang akhirnya bisa memperbaiki kualitas hidup pada pasien tuberkulosis paru.
