Hasil uji OLS (ordinary least square) menunjukan bahwa PMA dan perdagangan internasional berpengaruh secara positif terhadap emisi CO2. Pada persamaan grafik fungsi kuadrat diketahui nilai PMA dan perdagangan internasional belum mencapai nilai optimum sehingga teori U terbalik tidak terbukti. The research was conducted in Bireuen District of Aceh Province. Sampling method used in thisresearch is method of purposive sampling. The number of samples used in this researchare 94 manufacturing industries in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research wasconducted in the period 2008-2012. The statistical test used is a panel regressionapproach by ordinary least squares (OLS). Empiric results of this research indicatethat financing deficit, firm size, and time periods affect financial leveragesimultaneously. The population was districts/cities in Aceh Province and the unit of analysis of this study was the local government budget report (or financial statements) audited by Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). A total of 23 Local Government Financial Reports districts/cities in Aceh province with the observation period of 3 years, or 69 local government financial reports, where analyzed using the multiple linear regression model.
