Teknik penyajian karyawisata berlangsung di luar kelas. Peserta didik diajak ke suatu objek tertentu untuk meneliti atau meninjau guna memperoleh pengalaman langsung dari objek yang dikunjuginya. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran geografi melalui penerapan metode karyawisata. (2) Keterampilan guru dalam mengelola proses pembelajaran melalui penerapan metode karyawisata. (3) Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran geografi melalui metode karyawisata. (4) Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan metode karyawisata Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Inshafuddin Banda Aceh yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar soal, lembar pengamatan aktivitas guru dan siswa, lembar pengamatan keterampilan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran dan angket respon siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran melalui metode karyawisata. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian (1) Aktivitas guru dan siswa mencerminkan pembelajaran karyawisata, hal ini terlihat pada aktivitas guru dan siswa saat observasi ke lapangan, siswa melakukan observasi sesuai dengan perintah guru dengan mengisi lembar kerja dan guru tetap membimbing siswa; (2) Keterampilan guru dalam penerapan metode pembelajaran karyawisata meningkat dari kategori baik menjadi sangat baik; (3) Persentase ketuntasan individual terjadi peningkatan, ketuntasan individual mulai dari siklus pertama sebesar 60 persen dan pada siklus kedua sebesar 90 persen. Ketuntasan klasikal juga terjadi peningkatan mulai dari siklus pertama sebesar 79,16 persen dan siklus kedua 91,7 persen; (4) Respon siswa terhadap penerapan metode pembelajaran karyawisata adalah 91,7 persen dari 24 siswa berpendapat bahwa belajar melalui metode pembelajaran karyawisata dapat meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap materi pelestarian lingkungan hidup dan pembangunan berwawawasan lingkungan dan berkelanjutan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam materi pelestarian lingkungan hidup dan pembangunan berwawawasan lingkungan dan berkelanjutan pada mata pelajaran geografi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa setelah menerapkan metode pembelajaran karyawisata. The in vitro antimicrobial activity of N-hexane extract of the stem from Jatropha curcas were investigated. Antimicrobial activity was tested by using a diffusion method which each concentrations 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50%. The bacteria Salmonella typhii and fungi Candida sp were used. The results showed that extract inhibited both of S. typhii and Candida sp. Extracts at 50% concentration inhibit Candida sp with zones  inhibition 11 mm. Meanwhile extract at 30%-40% concentration inhibited S.typhii with zones inhibition 10 mm. Hasil uji ANSIRA menunjukkan bahwaekstrak daun kecubung berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap daya tetas telur ikan lelesangkuriang pada taraf uji 1%.
