It is an evaluative descriptive study that describes preparations by the lecturer, the teaching techniques used, the teaching activities, the teaching materials and resources, and the assessment of the students’ achievements. The subjects of this research were the English lecturer and all the third semester students at the academy. The instruments used for collecting data were observations, interviews, and document analysis of the English lecturer’s syllabus and lesson plan. The findings of this research are in three parts. The findings from the observation concerned on (a) the syllabus and lesson plan, (b) the materials and learning resources, and (c) the scheduling of the lessons. The findings from the interviews were on (a) the academic administrator who did not ask the English lecturer to prepare lesson plans before starting the lessons, and (b) the English lessons were focused only on speaking. Finally, the findings from the document analysis were on (a) the English syllabus that did not fully cover the subjects as set-out in the curriculum, and (b) the assessment of achievements of the students was well done by the English lecturer. Populasi penelitian ini adalah anggota dewan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Kota Banda Aceh, Kabupaten Aceh Besar dan Kabupaten Pide dengan jumlah 110 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode sensus. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisa jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Kepemimpinan, kompensasi dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh signifikan baik secara simultan dan parsial terhadap kinerja anggota dewan. 2) Kepemimpinan, kompensasi dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh signifikan baik secara simultan dan parsial terhadap kinerja Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Kota Banda Aceh, Kabupaten Aceh Besar dan Kabupaten Pidie. 3) Kinerja anggota dewan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Kota Banda Aceh, Kabupaten Aceh Besar dan Kabupaten Pidie dan 4) Kinerja anggota dewan mampu berperan sebagai partial mediator diantara pengaruh kepemimpinan, kompensasi dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Kota Banda Aceh, Kabupaten Aceh Besar dan Kabupaten Pidie. Dari data 38 perusahaan properti, real estate dan konstruksi bangunan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2011 sampai tahun 2012 yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Metode statistika yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa secara parsial: terdapat pengaruh positif signifikan struktur modal terhadap kinerja perusahaan, tidak terdapat pengaruh ukuran perusahaan terhadap kinerja perusahaan, dan terdapat pengaruh negatif signifikan agency cost terhadap kinerja perusahaan.
