Penelitian ini menggunakan 16 ekor ikan nila jantan dengan berat badan 40-50 gr yang dibagi menjadi 4 perlakuan. Air pada setiap aquarium perlakuan bersuhu 35oC, dan seluruh ikan diinjeksi dengan bakteri A. hydrophila secara intraperitonial sebanyak 106CFU/ikan. Pada kelompok perlakuan P0 (kontrol) pakan tidak dicampur tepung daun jaloh. Pada kelompok (P1, P2, P3) pakan dicampur dengan tepung daun jaloh masing-masing sebanyak 5%, 10%, dan 15%, dari pakan komersil yang diberikan, selama 14 hari. Perlakuan pada akhir perlakuan dihitung ikan yang mati, dan segera dilakukan pemeriksaan bakteri. Data ikan yang mati dianalisis secara deskriftif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada P0 seluruh ikan mati (100%), pada P3 ikan yang mati berjumlah 2 ekor (50%) sedangkan pada P1 dan P2 tidak ada yang mengalami kematian (100%). Ikan pada kelompok P0 dan P3 ditemukan bakteri Aeromonas hydrophila sedangkan pada kelompok P1 dan P2 tidak ditemukan bakteri A. hydrophila pada permukaan tubuhnya. Pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian tepung daun jaloh dapat menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri A. Hydrophila yang dapat menyebabkan kematian pada ikan nila pada kondisi panas.ABSTRACTstudy aimed to determine the effect of heat stress and leaf powder on immune jaloh tilapia has injected bacteria Aeromonas hydrophila. This study using 16 male tilapia fish weighing 40-50 g were divided into 4 treatment. Water in each tank temperature 35oC whole fish injected with bacteria A. hydrophila as intra peritonial 106CFU/ikan. P0 in the treatment group (control) did not feed flour mixed leaf jaloh, the group (P1, P2, P3) feed on the leaves mixed with flour as jaloh that each 5%, 10%, and 15%. of commercial feed given during 14 days of treatment, during treatment if there is a dead fish, it can be done by checking A.hydrophila bacterial gram staining method. Data were analyzed by descriptive. The results showed that all the dead fish at P0, P3 dead fish in there are 2 goats that died while on P1 and P2 no death. on examination at P2 P1dan not found bacteria A. hydrophila. Due to the commercial feed supplemented jaloh leaf powder (Salix tetrasperma Roxb) at a dose of 5% and 10% can mneghabat growth of Aeromonas hydrophila. The results showed that the mortality of fish in the P0 group 100% (whole fish died) and 50% in P3 (dead fish) while the P1 and P2 groups, mortality in fish reaches 0%. Fish in group P0 and P3 Aeromonas hydrophila bacteria found in the group while P1 and P2 are not found bacteria A. hydrophila on the surface of the body. In this study it can be concluded that the effects of heat stress and providing jaloh leaves can inhibit the growth of bacteria Aeromonas hydrophila. Penelitian dilakukan di Field Lab Jurusan Peternakan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh, tanggal 24 April sampai 29 Mei 2009. Materi yang digunakan terdiri dari 125 ekor DOC. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, dimana setiap ulangan merupakan unit percobaan terdiri dari 5 ekor ayam. Perlakuan yang dicobakan adalah pemberian feed supplement Tiens Goldens Harvest (TGH) dengan dosis yang berbeda terdiri dari 0,0, 0,3, 0,6, 0,9, dan 1,5 cc/liter. Parameter yang diamati meliputi, berat hidup, berat dan persentase karkas, berat dan persentase lemak abdomen, berat hati dan persentase hati, empedal, dan jantung. Data dianalisis dengan sidik ragam, apabila terdapat perbedaan yang nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan (Steel dan Torrie, 1991). Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa pemberian Tiens Goldens Harvest dalam air minum dengan dosis yang berbeda tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap berat dan persentase karkas ayam broiler.
