Guru menyediakan dua kartu yaitu kartu yang bertuliskankartu menjawab dan kartu bertanya. Pembelajaran dimulai dengan pertanyaan yangberasal dari guru maupun siswa. Siswa yang ingin bertanya maka harus memberikankartu bertanya kepada guru dan siswa yang ingin menjawab maka harus memberikankartu menjawab pertanyaan kepada guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untukmengetahui pengaruh prestasi belajar siswa kelas XB dengan penggunan modelpembelajaran kooperatif tipe Giving Question and Getting Answers (GQGA) diMAN 1 Kuta Baro, Aceh Besar. Pendekatan kuantitatif jenis penelitian ini adalahpenelitian eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XB sebagaieksperimen dengan jumlah siswa 12 orang. Dan kelas XA sebagai kelas kontroldengan jumlah siswa 12 orang di MAN 1 Kuta Baro, Aceh Besar. Berdasarkan hasilpengolahan data dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: penggunaan model pembelajarankooperatif tipe Giving Question and Getting Answers (GQGA) dapat berpengaruhpada prestasi belajar siswa kelas XB di MAN 1 Kuta Baro, Aceh Besar, hal ini dpatdilihat dari prestasi belajar yang diperoleh dengan uji-t. thitung 3.982 ? ttabel 2,074.Berarti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipeGiving Question and Getting Answers terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dengantaraf 0,05 yang Ha di terima dan Ho ditolak. Dari hasil tersebut model pembelajarankooperatif memberikan pengaruh yang tinggi terhadap hasil belajar sejarah siswakelas X MAN 1 Kuta Baro, Aceh Besar. Perbandingan hasil belajar siswa yangmenggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Giving Question and GettingAnswers lebih tinggi. Dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran kelas kontrol berpusatpada guru.
