Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode simulasi. Karena dalam pelaksanaan simulasi itu banyak keterampilan baik bersifat profesional maupun bagi kehidupan sehari-hari, maka proses yang digunakan salah satunya adalah keterampilan merencanakan simulasi, maka metode ini merupakan strategi yang penting untuk membelajarkan ketrampilan merencanakan simulasi kepada siswa. Penelitian ini mengangkat masalah apakah ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Lampeneurut antara menggunakan metode simulasi dengan metode konvensional pada materi struktur dan fungsi bagian tumbuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara menggunakan metode simulasi dengan metode konvensional pada materi struktur dan fungsi bagian tumbuhan kelas IV SD Negeri Lampeneurut. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Lampeneurut yang terdiri dari 2 kelas yang berjumlah 50 orang siswa. Sedangkan yang menjadi sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV-A sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 25 orang siswa dan kelas IV-B sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 25 orang siswa. Adapun teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di SD Negeri Lampeuneurut di kelas IVA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IVB sebagai kelas kontrol, maka hasil pengolahan data diperoleh yaitu harga ttabel = 2.02 sedangkan thitung = 2.67. Jadi thitung > ttabel, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima sehingga disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara menggunakan metode simulasi dengan metode konvensional pada materi struktur dan fungsi bagian tumbuhan. Factorial type of Completely Randomized Design with three replications was used in the experiment. The factor germination medium consist at three levels; river sand, sands of tsunami sand, washed tsunami sand; whereas deep planting factor consist of 2, 3, and 4 cm. The research result show that germination medium from sands of tsunami had high significant different on all parameters which consist of growth potential, germination ability, growth velocity, growth sincronization, and seedling vigor. This study aims to determine the influence of growing media and watering frequency on growth and yield of lettuce using verticulture system and the interaction between the two factors. The design used was randomized block design (RBD) with factorial pattern. 4x3 and 3 replications, so there were 36 experimental units. There are two factors studied, namely factor planting medium (M) consist of four level, and watering frequency factor (P) consisting of three levels. The result showed that the effect of growing media and watering frequency on lettuce plant significantly to the growth and yield of lettuce plant, including plant height, length, width, and number of strands of lettuce of the age of 10, 20, 30 days after planting (DAP) and wet weight age 30 DAP. The objective of the experiment was to find out the best growing media composition and gibberellins concentration on growth and flowering rose. This experiment was conducted in Agriculture Faculty Field Experiment of Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh from May to July 2013. This experiment used a factorial randomized block design with three replications and three plants/treatment unit. First factor was growing media consists of 3 types of media using a volume ratio of 1:1:1 (v/ v), namely: soil + manure + sand, soil + manure + chaff, and soil + manure + ricehull charcoal. Second factor was gibberellins concentration consists of four levels, namely: 0 ml L-1, 1 ml L-1, 3 ml L-1, and 5 ml L-1. The results showed that the best number of (2,75 branches at 6 weeks after planting) and branch length (23,09 cm at 7 weeks after planting) observed in the soil + manure + chaff growing media. Application of 1 ml L-1 gibberellins produced the best number of branches (4,39 branches at 8 weeks after planting). The number of leaves on first flower stalks (8,83 leaf) and flower diameter (8,21 cm) are found in application of 3 ml L-1 of gibberellins. Anthurium daun akan bernilai ekonomi yang tinggi dan menjadi daya tarik bila memiliki daun-daun yang tidak cacat karena sobek, busuk, maupun hangus oleh sinar matahari, daun-daun tumbuh kompak, susunan daun membentuk trap atau tingkatan. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kualitas anthurium daun yaitu dengan pemilihan media tanam dan pemupukan yang tepat. Media tanam yang digunakan adalah tanah, kompos, ampas tebu, ampas kelapa sawit, sabut kelapa, cacahan batang pakis. Pupuk Grow Quick Leaf Booster (LB) merupakan jenis pupuk yang dapat digunakan untuk mempercepat pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman, meningkatkan kualitas tanaman anthurium. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis media tanam dan intensitas pemupukan yang tepat terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman anthurium daun serta adanya interaksi antara kedua faktor tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan dua faktor, faktor media tanam (M) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yakni tanah + kompos + ampas tebu (1:1:3), tanah + kompos + ampas kelapa sawit (1:1:3), tanah + kompos + cacahan pakis (1:1:3), tanah + kompos + sabut kelapa (1:1:3) dan intensitas pemberian pupuk Grow Quick LB terdiri dari 5 taraf yakni 0 (kontrol), 2 hari sekali, 4 hari sekali, 6 hari sekali, 8 hari sekali. Pengamatan dilakukan pada 14, 28,42, 56, 70, dan 84 HST. Masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Analisa keragaman hasil dilakukan dengan analisa ANOVA, dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT 5 % untuk melihat perbedaan antar perlakuan. The aim of this research is find out best kind effect of growing media and concentration of the plant growth regulator Dekamon and interaction both of two treatment on growth and yield of melon. This research was conducted at the Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian (BPTP) Banda Aceh at May until August 2013.This research used Randomized Completely Block Design 3 x 5 with 2 factors and 3 replications. First factor is kind of growing media with 3 levels; soil, soil + husk, and soil + compost. The second factor is concentration of the plant growth regulator Dekamon with 4 levels; control (0 ml L-1), 0,15 ml L-1, 0,20 ml L-1, 0,25 ml L-1, dan 0,30 ml L-1. Observations parameter of inspected is; height of plant (cm), diameter rods (cm), number of leafes per plant (blade), number of fruit weight per plant (g) and number of diameter fruit per plant (cm).Results of this experiment shows that the growing media give significant effect on height of plant at the age 36 dap and diameter rods 16 dap, no significant on height of plant (at the age 6, 16, and 26 dap), diameter rods (at the age 6, 26 and 36 dap), number of leafes per plant (at the age 6, 16, 26 and 36 dap), number of fruit weight per plant and number of diameter fruit per plant at the age 70 dap. Growing media of soil + husk (M2) is better growing media to height of plant and diameter rods but soil + compost(M3) is better to give generative result of melon. The concentration of the plant growth regulator Dekamon give highly significant effect to diameter rods at the age 26 dap, significant effect on height of plant at the age 26 dap and number of leafes 16 dap, and no significant on height of plant (at the age 6, 16, and 36 dap), diameter rods (at the age 6, 16 and 36 dap), number of leafes per plant (at the age 6, 26 and 36 dap), number of fruit weight per plant and number of diameter fruit per plant at the age 70 dap.
