Faktor kedua adalah dosis mikoriza (0, 5, 10 dan 15 g/tanaman). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dosis pupuk NPK (16:16:16) berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi bibit dan diameter pangkal batang umur 60 dan 90 HST, luas daun, panjang akar, berat basah akar, berat basah dan kering berangkasan atas serta persentase akar yang terinfeksi mikoriza. Pertumbuhan bibit kakao pada media tumbuh subsoil terbaik dijumpai pada dosis pupuk NPK (16:16:16) 5 g/tanaman. Perlakuan dosis mikoriza berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap luas daun dan persentase akar yang terinfeksi mikoriza, berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi bibit umur 90 HST, diameter pangkal batang umur 90 HST, berat basah akar dan berat kering berangkasan atas. Perlakuan dosis mikoriza yang lebih efektif adalah 10 g/tanaman. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan dosis pupuk NPK (16:16:16) dan mikoriza. The pulp that is used in this research is pulp from Oil Palm Frond (OPF). Pulping method that was carried out in this research is the kraft pulping which was undergo in 4 different conditions (20% NaOH: 20% Na2S; 20% NaOH, 30% Na2S; 30% NaOH, 20% Na2S and 30% NaOH, 30% Na2S). The beating process is carried out using PFI Mill Beater and five amounts of beating were imposed to each pulp (0, 250, 500, 750 and 1500 rotations). From the result obtained, the freeness (CSF) of the pulp was decreased against the increasing amount of beating. The optimum amount of beating is at 1500 rotations for tensile strength (5981.1 N/m), bursting strength (660.72 kPa) and folding endurance (915). For tearing resistance (730.23 mN), the optimum amount of beating is at 250 rotations. Beating also contributes to reduce the brightness and the opacity too. The result show that suitable beating stage for kraft OPF pulp is at 1500 rotations, because almost all testing give optimum or closely to optimum result at this amount of beating. Dua puluh tulang humerus yang berasal dari 10 ekor burung merpati jantan dipisahkan dari jaringan di sekitarnya, kemudian tulang humerus tersebut direndam dalam formalin 5% dan dipotong secara melintang dengan menggunakan gergaji tulang. Ketebalan dinding terhadap tulang humerus diukur dengan menggunakan jangka sorong. Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbandingan ketebalan dinding dan diameter tulang humerus pada ayam kampung adalah 1 : 4,94 sedangkan pada burung merpati adalah 1 : 5,80. Minimal processing of pineapple is one of the solutions for practical use by consumers who would like to consume it fresh. However, minimally processed pineapple will be easily damaged and has short shelf life. The aims of this study are to determine the quality of minimally processed pineapple coated with edible coating, effect of calcium chloride dipping, as well as plastic packaging at low temperatures storage. Combination of Cassava starch and glycerol used as edible coating for pineapple dipped in CaCl2for 1 minute and 2 minutes, respectively. Products were packaged using polyethylene, polypropylene, and without packaging. It is obtained that dipping the product in CaCl2 for 2 minutes and packaging it using polypropylene (plastic) can prolong the shelf life of minimally processed pineapple stored at 5°C up to 8 days.
