The methodology applied was ethnographic using a questionnaire to obtain data. A number of 14 respondents who varied across ages, educational background and occupations participated in this study. These respondents included three housewives, two university students, one fresh graduate, one junior high school and two senior high school students, one trader, two senior citizens, one teacher and one civil servant. Based on the findings, the attitude nowadays of the Acehnese has changed radically. Out of eight adults, only three were actively using proverbs in their daily lives and teaching their children those proverbs. All of the young people, who ranged from fourteen to twenty three years old, did not use proverbs. In relation to education, proverbs are used to teach the society about courtesy, advices (e.g. for choosing companions and friends in life, child rearing, socializing/conversing, and not to mind other people’s business), and shyness as part of faith. Furthermore, a significant language shift has occurred in Aceh which has impacted Acehnese oral literature whereby more parents today prefer Indonesian to be taught as their children’s first language (Alamsyah, et al., 2011). This research aims to synthesize kitosan resin resulted by the reaction of kitosan with etilendamin. In the present work chitosan was cross-linked with glutardialdehyde and subsequently treated with epichlorohydrine and ethylene diamine. The resins CR-amine was found to contain 22.7% water content,  and were insoluble in organic solvents as well as in mineral and organic acids. The concentration values of the active sites on the resins are reported. The higher concentration of active sites of CR-amine 6.01 mmol/g indicates that the “en” moieties are covalently bonded to the cross-linked resin. Several chemical modification methods were tried in increasing the uptake capacity of cross-linked chitosan bead. Among them, aminated chitosan beads formed through the chemical reaction using ethylenediamine showed the highest uptake capacity for gold ions. Uptake capacity of aminated chitosan beads was increased to about 0.8 mmol Au3+ g-1 dry mass compared to that before modification. The increase of amine groups was confirmed by IR spectrum and measurement of amine concentration and surface condition on aminated chitosan bead was also confirmed by  SEM. In the analysis, the method used in this research is library research with an in-depth analysis and discussion on many related policies that effect technological change and economic growth in Indonesia. The findings show that Indonesian government has introduced a number of supporting policies related to education as well as R&D to promote economic growth of the country. These policies generally have started since New Order government in the late 1960s. However, New Order government has put the strong bases to encourage trade openness and investment especially foreign investment. On the meantime, the government had also involved in free trade cooperation such as Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) which will be applied 2020 for the developing countries and 2010 for the developed countries. Even the government has generated numbers of favourable policies to attract foreign investment and fastening economic growth, the policies in generating public R&D has been not well developed. The government budget spends for public R&D is still low (around 2 percent every year). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes{post test) untuk mengetahui ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa dan angket untuk mengetahui respon siswa. Pada penelitian ini yang akan menjadi subjek penelitian adalah satu kelas dengan satu kali tes setelah pembelajaran, sehingga digolongkan dalam desain one shot case study. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa setalah pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan brain based learning maka dari 26 siswa terdapat 23 siswa yang sudah tuntas belajar secara individual dengan persentase 88,5 persen. Ketuntasan hasil belajara siswa secara klasikal adalah 86,6 persent dan sudah mencapai standar ketuntasan klasikal yang ditetapkan yaitu >85.
