DM tipe 2 dan Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) memiliki keterkaitan dimana apabila seseorang dengan kelebihan berat badan menimbulkan adanya timbunan lemak di dalam tubuh yang mengakibatkan peningkatan kadar gula darah akibat resistennya kerja insulin sehingga dapat mencetuskan timbulnya DM tipe 2 maupun memperberat kondisi penderita DM tipe 2. Peningkatan berat badan ini menyebabkan status gizi atau IMT penderita DM tipe 2 berlebih. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran IMT pada penderita DM tipe 2.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang dilakukan untuk mengadakan deskripsi tanpa dilakukan analisa yang mendalam dan telah dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2014 dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 100 orang. Hasil analisa dengan analisis univariat menunjukan bahwa persentase IMT pada penderita DM tipe 2 terbanyak tergolong pada obesitas tingkat I yaitu 46% dimana banyak dialami oleh perempuan dan berada pada rentang usia 51-60 tahun. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penderita DM tipe 2 paling banyak mengalami obesitas tingkat I.Kata kunci: DM tipe 2, IMT, obesitasABSTRACTDiabetes Mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disorder with increased blood sugar or hyperglycemia resulting from abnormalities in insulin secretion, insulin abnormalities or a combination of both. Type 2 diabetes and body mass index (BMI) have relevance where if someone with overweight raises the presence of fat in the body that lead to increased blood sugar levels due to insulin resistennya that can trigger the onset of type 2 diabetes or aggravate the condition of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus . this leads to weight gain or nutritional status of patients with type 2 diabetes BMI excess. The purpose of this study is to describe the BMI in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2. This study is a descriptive study conducted to hold descriptions without in-depth analysis and was conducted in December 2014 with a number of respondents as many as 100 people. The results of the analysis of univariate analysis showed that the percentage of BMI in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus most belonging to the first level of obesity at 46% where many women and are in the age range 51-60 years. Pengobatan untuk kandidiasis dapat menggunakan antijamur golongan azol, namun obat ini sudah banyak dilaporkan resisten, sehingga diperlukan alternatif pengobatan dari bahan alam. Minyak kelapa murni dipercayai dapat membunuh jamur Candida albicans karena kandungan medium chain fatty acid yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah minyak kelapa murni mampu menghambat pertumbuhan jamur Candida albicans. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental dengan 4 kelompok perlakuan, yaitu kelompok minyak kelapa murni dengan konsentrasi 60%, 80%, 100%, dan kontrol negatif yaitu akuades. Uji daya hambat dilakukan dengan metode difusi cakram. Rata-rata zona hambat yang terbentuk pada kelompok minyak kelapa murni 60%, 80%, 100%, dan kontrol negatif masing masing adalah 5.6 cm, 7.4 cm, 10.4 cm, dan 0 cm. Hasil analisa data secara statistik menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan bermakna kemampuan daya hambat minyak kelapa murni dengan kontrol negatif, yang berarti minyak kelapa murni mampu menghambat pertumbuhan jamur Candida albicans .Berdasarkan respon hambatan mikroba minyak kelapa murni konsentrasi 60%, dan 80% memiliki kemampuan daya hambat lemah, sedangkan minyak kelapa murni konsentrasi 100% memiliki kemampuan daya hambat sedang. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa minyak kelapa murni mampu menghambat pertumbuhan jamur Candida albicans namun daya hambatnya hanya dalam skala lemah sampai sedang. Pengobatan epilepsi memerlukan waktu selama 2 tahun sehingga diperlukan kepatuhan dari pasien dalam menjalani pengobatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan keluarga, penyuluhan kesehatan dan sikap petugas medis dengan tingkat kepatuhan berobat pasien epilepsi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional yaitu variabel - variabel yang dinilai diukur melalui wawancara dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah keluarga pasien epilepsi yang berobat di Poliklinik Saraf dan Poliklinik Anak Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Zainoel Abidin Kota Banda Aceh yaitu sebanyak 38 orang. Hasil dari uji Chi Square menunjukkan terdapat hubungan pengetahuan (p value 0,001), penyuluhan kesehatan (p value 0,003) dan sikap petugas medis (p value 0,001) dengan tingkat kepatuhan berobat pasien epilepsi. Epilepsy require 2 years treatment therefore the obedience needed of patients in treatment time. The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship of family knowledge, health education and attitudes of medical personnel to the level of treatment obedience of patients with epilepsy. This research is a cross sectional analytic design is variables assessed were measured through interviews using questionnaires. The sample in this research is a family of epilepsy patients who had treatment in the Neurology Clinic and Polyclinic for Children in General Hospital Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh as many as 38 people. Results of the Chi Square test shows there is a relationship of knowledge (p value 0.001), health education (p value 0.003) and the attitude of medical personnel (p value 0.001) with the level of obedience treatment of patients with epilepsy. The conclusion from this research is that there is a relationship of knowledge, health education and attitudes of medical personnel to the level of treatment obedience. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan desain cross sectional yaitu variabel-variabel yang dinilai diukur melalui wawancara dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah wanita yang berada diruangan Poli Syaraf Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Zainoel Abidin yaitu sebanyak 40 orang. Kematian merupakan outcome yang sering dijumpai pada kasus stroke hemoragik. Angka kematian berkisar 30-40% dalam 1 bulan untuk kasus perdarahan intraserebral dan 12% untuk perdarahan subarachnoid. CT Scan merupakan standar baku emas dalam pemeriksaan stroke khususnya stroke hemoragik. Pemeriksaan radiologi dilakukan dalam rentang waktu 24 jam setelah pasien tiba dan CT Scan ulangan dilakukan dalam jangka waktu 72 jam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatahui hubungan antara keadaan klinis stroke intraserebral dengan gambaran CT Scan kepala di RSUDZA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan menggunakan desain cross sectional. Subjek penelitian diambil dengan teknik accidental sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 35 orang penderita stroke hemoragik tipe perdarahan intraserebral. Analisa yang digunakan adalah analisa univariat dan bivariat. Dari hasil analisa tidak ditemukannya hubungan antara tekanan darah, nyeri kepala, dan outcome stroke hemoragik dengan luas lesi.
