Daun beluntas (Pluchea indica L.) merupakan tanaman herbal yang memiliki zat antibakteri seperti alkaloid, flavonoid, tanin, polifenol, kuinon, dan steroid. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak daun beluntas terhadap pertumbuhan E. faecalis. Pada penelitian eksperimental laboratoris ini, daun beluntas diekstraksi dengan metode maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol 96%. Pengujian antibakteri ekstrak daun beluntas dilakukan terhadap E. faecalis yang telah dikultur pada media CHROMAgar VRE (Non-vancomycin) dengan menggunakan metode Standard Plate Count. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pertumbuhan E. faecalis dimulai dari konsentrasi 25%, 50%, 75% sampai 100%. Hasil analisis Kruskal-Wallis diperoleh nilai p=0,005 yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari ekstrak daun beluntas terhadap E. faecalis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak daun beluntas memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap E. faecalis sebagai bakteriosidal dimulai dari konsentrasi 25%, sedangkan efek bakteriostatik tidak dapat ditentukan karena diduga konsentrasi yang digunakan terlalu tinggi.Kata kunci: perawatan endodontik, Enterococcus faecalis, Pluchea indica L. Diperkirakan beberapa faktor yang meliputi: status gizi, lama menderita, tingkat pendidikan ibu, riwayat atopi keluarga dan status ekonomi keluarga dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas hidup anak dengan asma usia 5-18 tahun. Penelitian ini tergolong dalam jenis analitik observasional dengan desain cross sectional dan metode accidental sampling dengan jumlah 40 sampel. Kualitas hidup anak dengan asma ditentukan berdasarkan kuesioner PedsQLTM spesifik asma versi 3.0 dan kuesioner PedsQLTM versi 4.0. Didapatkan hasil analisis menggunakan uji Chi Square dan Fisher bahwa faktor yang berhubungan adalah status gizi p=0,031), tingkat pendidikan ibu (p=0,013) dan lama menderita (p=0,010). Sedangkan riwayat atopi keluarga (p = 0,471) dan status ekonomi keluarga (p = 0,273) tidak berhubungan terhadap kualitas hidup. Disimpulkan bahwa status gizi, tingkat pendidikan ibu dan lamanya menderita asma adalah faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas hidup anak dengan asma usia 5-18 tahun di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui program, pelaksanaan, hambatan dan pendukung pemberdayaan unit produksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu mereduksi, display, mengambil kesimpulan dan verifikasi data. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, ketua unit produksi, ketua sub unit produksi, pengawas, komite dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Program dirumuskan berdasarkan analisis yang meliputi SDM, fasilitas, keuangan, aspek pasar dan beberapa pertimbangan lainya dengan melibatkan semua personil melalui musyawarah pada setiap akhir tahun ajaran. Unit produksi yang dijalankan yaitu usaha mini market V Mart dan Usaha Grafika. 2) Pelaksanaan program pemberdayaan melibatkan SDM dari dalam sekolah dan dari luar sekolah. Sumber biaya yang dipakai adalah dana dari sekolah. Kerjasama dilakukan dengan SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh berupa percetakan lembaran soal dan lembaran jawaban serta percetakan lainnya. Sementara untuk usaha V Mart dengan beberapa pemasok barang dan koperasi sekolah baik SMKN 2 Banda Aceh dan SMKN 3 Banda Aceh untuk kebutuhan barang ATK dan kebutuhan rumah tangga lainya bagi anggota koperasi. 3) Faktor penghambat adalah waktu sangat terbatas, fasilitas khusus untuk bidang usaha grafika, permodalan yang minim, kerjasama dengan pihak eksternal belum maksimal, teknik pemasaran yang belum efektif, belum adanya pemetaan target pasar yang jelas kepada pihak eksternal. This study aimed to find out program, implementation, obstacles, and supporting factor in production unit empowerment. This study used descriptive method and qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation study. Data analysis used were data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and data verification. Subjects of the study were principal, vice principal, head of production unit, head of production sub-unit, school supervisors, school committee and teachers. The results of the study showed that: 1) Programs were formulated based on analysis that included human resource, facility, finance, market aspect, and other considerations that involved all personnel through discussion at the end of each school year. Production units run were V Mart and Graphic business. 2) The implementation of the empowerment program involved human resource from the school and outside of the school. Source of funds used was funds from school. State Vocational High School (SMKN) 1 of Banda Aceh established cooperation with SMKN 2 of Banda Aceh in printing of answer and question sheet and other printing forms. In V-Mart business, SMKN 1 of Banda Aceh established cooperation with some suppliers of goods and school cooperative enterprise both with SMKN 2 of Banda Aceh and SMKN 3 of Banda Aceh for stationeries and other household goods for members of the school cooperation. 3) Supporting factors of the empowerment of production unit were adequate human resource and facility, support from related parties, and good market aspects. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak metanol bunga kecombrang (Nicolaia spesiosa H.) terhadap kematian larva Aedes aegypti L. instar III. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 pengulangan. Pengulangan terdiri dari ekstrak metanol bunga kecombrang (Nicolaia spesiosa H.) konsentrasi 500 ppm, 1000 ppm, 1500 ppm, dan 2000 ppm, kontrol positif (Abate 1 ppm) dan kontrol negatif (Aquades). Data yang didapat dari hasil penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan Analisis Varian (Anova) dan analisis Duncan. Hasil bunga Nicolaia spesiosa H. dapat menyebabkan kematian larva Aedes aegypti L. instar III dengan nilai F hitung sebesar 362,937 (p?0,05). Hasil analisis Duncan menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan antara kontrol positif dan ekstrak metanol bunga Nicolaia spesiosa H. dengan 2000 ppm, 1500 ppm tidak berbeda nyata namun pada konsentrasi 1000 ppm, 500 ppm dan kontrol negatif berbeda nyata. Daya Larvasida bunga Nicolaia spesiosa H. berasal dari senyawa metabolit sekunder berupa terpenoid, steroid, fenol dan flavonoid. Idad been dine as a effort gained type of biological larvasid to eradicate Aedes aegypti L. larvas Aimed of this research is knowing the influence of methanol extract of ginger flower (Nicolaia spesiosa H.) to kill the Aedes aegypti larvas instar III . The metode of this research complete random design metode non factorial with six treatment 4 repetition. The repetition consist of methanol extract of ginger flower (Nicolaia spesiosa H.) with the 500 ppm, 1000 ppm, 1500 ppm, and 2000 ppm concentrated. The positive control (1 ppm Abate) and negative control (Aquades) the data gained from this research analyzed with Varian (Anova) Analysis and Duncan Analysis the result is Nicolaia spesiosa H. can used to eradicale of Aedes aegypti larvas instar III . Pengukuran biomassa menggunakan metode alometrik yang dilakukan pada batang dan akar mangrove dengan cara mengukur diameter batang setinggi dada pada plot contoh persegi panjang yang dipilih secara acak. Ukuran plot 10 m x 10 m untuk pengamatan pohon, 5 m x 5 m untuk pengamatan pancang, 2 m x 2 m untuk pengamatan semai. Tiap jenis mangrove dicatat nama daerah dan nama ilmiahnya, kemudian dihitung jumlah individu dan diameter. Analisis karbon tanah dilakukan dengan mengambil sampel tanah komposit pada tiga kedalaman yaitu 0-15 cm, 15-30 cm, dan 30-50 cm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat enam jenis mangrove yang ditemui di lokasi penelitian yaitu R.apiculata, R.mucronata, R.stylosa, A.alba, A. lanata, dan S.alba. Jenis mangrove yang mempunyai penyebaran yang luas adalah R. mucronata. Hutan mangrove di Kota Banda Aceh termasuk dalam kriteria pertumbuhan jarang dengan jumlah kerapatan 224 batang/ha. Potensi karbon tersimpan pada tanah mangrove, batang, tanah tambak, dan akar berturut- turut adalah 55,31ton C/ha, 16, 50ton C/ha, 10,51 ton C/ha, dan 6,92 ton C/ha. Nyeri ini terasa diantara sudut iga terbawah sampai lipat bokong bawah yaitu di daerah lumbal atau lumbo sakral dan sering disertai dengan penjalaran nyeri ke arah tungkai dan kaki. Persepsi disabilitas adalah keadaan yang dirasakan oleh pasien akibat ketidakmampuan melakukan suatu hal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai persepsi disabilitas pasien yang menderita low back pain. Desain penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling selama periode Agustus-November 2014 di poliklinik saraf dan poliklinik orthopedi RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Persepsi disabilitas dinilai dengan menggunakan kuisioner Roland Morris. Hasil penelitian dari 51 sampel didapatkan tingkat persepsi tinggi sebanyak 14 pasien (27,5%) dan tingkat persepsi rendah 37 pasien (72,5%). Kategori umur didapatkan tingkat persepsi disabilitas paling tinggi dialami oleh usia tua sebanyak 25 pasien (49%). Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat yang dilakukan terhadap satu variabel yang menghasilkan distribusi dan persentase dari satu variabel. This pain would be felt between the location of three lowest degree of limbs until the lumbal or sacral-lumbal limbs, and sometimes it could go further to feet. The perception of dissability is a condition which is occured by patients, resulted by the unability to do their regular acitivities. The purpose of this study is to see the persception of low back pain patients. This study used descriptive design with consecutive sampling, by the period of august-november 2014 in neurology and orthopedi clinics in RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. The perception of disability are scored by Roland Morris score. The result of 51 samples got the highest perception of 14 patients (27.5%) and the lowest perception of 37 patients (72.5%). Age-catagorized had the highest perception happened in elder-age, for 25 patients (49%). Univariat analysis was being used to analyze the data, which being done for one variable that procuce more than one distribution and percentage.
