This study aims to determine the effect of cutting and way of giving proper rootone F and the presence or absence of interaction between the two factors under study on the growth of cutting roses. The research was conducted in the Village of Blang Cut, District Leung Bata, Banda Aceh, the ongoing since August – October 2006. This research used randomized block design factorial pattern of 3x4 with 3 replications. There are two factors studied were the first factor is the cutting material (S) which consists of 3 levels: the base of cutting (S1), cutting the middle (S2) and cutting the tip (S3), the second factor is the form rootone F consists of 4 levels: Control (R0), from a paste (R1), the form of flour (R2) and forms a solution of (R3). Observed in this study is to shoot length, number of shoot, number of compound leaves per shoot, number of root and root length. The result showed that the materials have strong cuttings of shoot number of age 60 days after transplanting (DAT), the number of compound leaves per shoot, number of roots and root length HST age 80, the best result encountered in cutting edge treatment material (S3) Treatment rootone F shows that the effect is very significant effect on the number of shoots age 60 DAT, the number of compound leaves, number of root and root length HST age 80, the best result encountered in the treatment of flour (R2). The aim of this research was to study the ability of bacteriocin (amylocin) produced by Indonesian isolate of Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) (Lactobacillus amylovorus US 121) and its combination with nisin in pasteurized milk. The total bacteria was measured by plate count method. The antimicrobial activity of amylosin at 64 AU/ml had the same activity with nisin at 625 AU/ml and its combination between amylosin and nisin at 32 AU/ml and 312,5 AU/ml respectively against psychrotrophic, thermoduric bacteria and L. monocytogenes in pasteurized milk. However, combination of amylosin and nisin (32 AU/ml + 312,5 AU/ml) able to reduce S. aureus in pasteurized milk. Amylosin at 64 AU/ml kept the shelf life of pasteurized milk longer until 12 days at 10oC. The addition of amylosin (the precipitate resulted by ammonium sulfate precipitation at 70% w/v) changed the color of pasteurized milk be brownish white. Hal ini mengindikasikan belum kuatnya keputusan yang diambil oleh wisatawan untuk memilih Sabang sebagai destinasi wisata yang akan dikunjunginya. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: Apakah Bauran Promosi berpengaruh terhadap Preferensi Pelanggan, apakah Preferensi Pelanggan berpengaruh terhadap Keputusan Berkunjung, dan Apakah Bauran Promosi berpengaruh terhadap Keputusan Berkunjung melalui Preferensi Pelanggan. Tahun 2013 Jumlah kunjungan wisatawan ke Kota Sabang adalah 20.000 orang. Dari jumlah ini 7.000 orang diantaranya adalah wisatawan asing. Besarnya jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 120 responden. Pengaruh langsung antara variabel variabel independent yang ada pada penelitian ini yaitu Bauran Promosi (X) terhadap variabel dependent yaitu Keputusan Berkunjung (Z), lebih kecil dibandingkan pengaruh nya bila melalui variabel intervening Preferensi Wisatawan (Y). Pengaruh langsung antara X dan Z adalah 0,142. Sedangkan pengaruh tidak langsung lebih besar yaitu 0,861. Dari informasi ini maka kita dapat menyarankan kepada para pengambil keputusan yang terkait dengan pengembangan pariwisata di Pulau Weh, baik di institusi lokal maupun nasional, adalah menjalankan Bauran Promosi, agar preferensi calon wisatawan yang akan berkunjung ke Sabang meningkat. Hanya dengan meningkatnya preferensi wisatawan, peningkatan minat wisatawan untuk datang ke Sabang juga akan meningkat. Beacons adalah jumlah pengumuman paket yang dikirim oleh AP, setiap jalur akses mengirimkan sekiar 10 Beacon perdetik dengan waktu terendah 1 milidetik (1M). Beacon Interval memiliki range berbeda pada masing-masing AP, default angka Beacon Interval 100 milisecond (ms). Pada penelitian ini dilakukan dilakukan pengujian serangan pada angka Beacon Interval menggunakan serangan Brute Force pada AP yang memiliki protrokol Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS). Access Point (AP) yang dilakukan pengujian serangan memilki range Beacon Interval 200 sampai 1000 ms. Pengujian serangan dilakukan terhadap angka Beacon Interval 200 ms, 400 ms. 600 ms, 800 ms dan 1000 ms. Masing-masing dilakukan pengujian serangan sebanyak 2 (dua) kali pengujian. Pada penelitian ini AP yang digunakan untuk melakukan pengujian serangan adalah TP-LINK TD-W8151N dan D-LINK Model DAP-1360.Hasil yang didapat pada penelitian ini, semakin besar angka Beacon Interval pada AP maka paket Beacons yang dikirimkan oleh AP semakin kecil. Dan untuk Beacon Interval yang kecil paket Beacons yang dikirimkan semakin panjang. Untuk prose lamanya waktu penyerangan terhadap angka Beacon Interval waktu yang paling cepat melakuakn serangan adalah Beacon Interval yang kecil.Sedangkan Beacon Interval yang besar waktu yang dibutuhkan cukup lama dalam melakukan serangan. Pada pengujian terhadap D-LINK DAP-1360 serangan Brute Force gagal membongkar keamanan WPS disebabkan waktu pengujian sangat lama dan tidak dapat diselesaikan. The experimental was conducted at PT Syngenta, Cikampek, West Java. This experimental was arranged in the split-split plot based of randomized block design with 2 replications. The main plot was the time application consists of: R6, R7, and R8 phase. The sub-plot was the application doses of the herbicide that consists of: no herbicide, lower dosage, medium dosage, and higher dose. The response observed covers the seed’s water content at harvesting, seed’s viability, seed’s vigor, the percentage of winkle seed, the weight of 100 seeds and the yield per plot. The result shows that the application of paraquat at lower dose and at R7 nd R8 phase yielding the highest quality compared to any other treatment. Mulsa sekam padi dapat meningkatkan jumlah buah per tanaman (200.85 buah) dan bobot buah tertinggi (380.33 g). The aim of this research was to know the effect of some fertilizers and mulches to the growth and production as well as the interaction of both factors on the red chili. The experiment was done in Lampuuk village since February 2007 to June 2007. The first factor was 3 kinds of fertilizer (dung 20 t ha-1, NPK Phonska 600 kg ha-1 and the mix of urea 200 kg ha-1, SP36 150 kg ha-1, KCl 150 kg ha-1) and the second factor was 3 kinds of mulch ( Black Silver Plastic, rice straw, rice husks). The result shows that growth of chili was better on dung fertilizer. Rice husks mulch has significantly fruit number per plant (200.85) and the highest fruit weight (380.33 g). Bentuk pemanfaatan teknologi jaringan wireless di suatu area adalah hotspot yang terdapat pada warung kopi, perkantoran, persekolahan maupun kampus. Akan tetapi kualitas layanan multimedia pada hotspot masih buruk karena belum tersedia mekanisme QoS konten multimedia. Mekanisme layanan QoS dapat diimplementasikan pada antrian paket seperti First In First Out (FIFO), Stochastic Fairness Queuing (SFQ), Random Early Detection (RED), dan Per Connection Queuing (PCQ) dan pengaruhnya terhadap kualitas layanan wireless multimedia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisa pengaruh antrian paket terhadap kualitas layanan wireless multimedia dengan parameter throughput. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua tahap yaitu yang pertama tahapan pengujian single trafik dan selanjutnya tahapan pengujian multitrafik. Dengan adanya penerapan antrian paket maka kualitas layanan wireless menjadi lebih baik dalam memaksimalkan bandwidth sebesar 2 Mbps yang diberikan pada jaringan tersebut yang dalam penggunaan user. Metode antrian paket Per Connection Queuing (PCQ) menghasilkan QoS terbaik dimana mampu membagi rata throughput. Pada pengujiannya bandwidth yang diberikan sebesar 2 Mbps, PCQ membagi rata throughput voice, video, HTTP dan FTP masing-masing sebesar 505,96 Kbps.
