One is as an antimicrobial properties. Tamarind leaves contain a variety of secondary metabolic compounds such as flavonoids, steroids, tannins and saponins. This study aims to determine the effect of ethanol extract of tamarind leaves in inhibiting the growth of Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in vitro. Methodology: Experimental laboratory is using Complete Randomized Design (CRD) which is divided into 6 groups. Four treatment groups and two control groups. The treatment group consisted of ethanol extract of tamarind leaves with concentration 75%, 50%, 25% and 12.5%. The control group consisted of vancomycin 30 mg as a positive control and sterile distilled water as negative control. Antibacterial activity test carried out by disc diffusion method. The parameters observed were inhibition zone diameter formed in the median. Aceh merupakan salah satu provinsi di Indonesia yang memiliki jumlah penduduk yang cukup besar dan sebagian masyarakat bermata pencaharian pada sektor pertanian. Sektor pertanian di Aceh mampu menyerap tenaga kerja relatif lebih besar dibandingkan dengan sektor lain, besarnya kontribusi sektor pertanian di Aceh tidak hanya dalam penyerapan tenaga kerja tetapi juga terhadap PDRB. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan dan penawara tenaga kerja pada sektor pertanian di Provinsi Aceh. Pada persamaan permintaan faktor-faktor yang dianalisis adalah luas lahan, upah tenaga kerja, investasi sektor pertanian. Pada persamaan penawaran faktor-faktor yang dianalisis adalah jumlah penduduk di pedesaan, upah tenaga kerja sektor pertanian dan pengangguran di pedesaan. Hasil analisis permintaan tenaga kerja, menunjukkan bahwa variabel luas lahan dan investasi sektor pertanian memberi pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap permintaan tenaga kerja, dan variabel upah tenaga kerja sektor pertanian memberi pengaruh yang negatif namun tidak signifikan terhadap permintaan tenaga kerja. Kedua mikroorganisme tersebut dapat menjadi patogen apabila terjadi pertumbuhan yang berlebih, salah satu faktornya adalah ketidakseimbangan pH saliva rongga mulut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan pH dan pertumbuhan A. actinomycetemcomitans dan C. albicans setelah keduanya direaksikan dalam berbagai pH saliva buatan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari perubahan pH saliva buatan dilihat dengan menggunakan pH meter, sedangkan untuk gambaran pertumbuhan A. actinomycetemcomitans dan C. albicans dilakukan dengan metode kultur. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian dianalisis secara kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa A. actinomycetemcomitans dan C. albicans dapat tumbuh dalam pH asam dan basa tetapi setelah dinteraksikan keduanya dalam saliva buatan dengan berbagai kondisi pH ternyata A. actinomycetemcomitans mampu menekan pertumbuhan C. albicans dan merubah kondisi pH saliva buatan menjadi basa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pandangan tokoh masyarakat terhadap munculnya tuntutan pemekaran wilayah kabupaten Aceh Besar, untuk mengetahui persepsi tokoh masyarakat terhadap tujuan pemekaran Aceh Besar, untuk mengetahui serta menganalisis persepsi masyarakat terhadapPotensi konflik pada rencana pemekaran Aceh Besar.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu penelitian lapangan dan penelitian kepustakaan. Studi lapangan untuk memperoleh data primer yang dilakukan dengan cara wawancara. Sedangkan penelitian kepustakaan untuk memperoleh data sekunder berdasarkan buku-buku dan bacaan terkait.Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa lahirnya wacana pemekaran Aceh Besar menjadi beberapa wilayah baru melahirkan pro dan kontra dikalangan masyarakat dan pemerintah sendiri Aceh Besar. Dengan adanya pemekaran daerah, maka ada banyak sisi mamfaat yang akan diterima ole h daerah pemekaran, contoh dari sisi anggaran akan bertambah, daerah akan cepat berkembang, pembangunan akan lebih merata. Kemudian dalam pemekaran Aceh Besar, konflik yang akan terjadi ditengah-tengah masyarakat akan sangat kecil potensinya.Disarankan kepada pemerintah Aceh Besar Agar membentuk tim khusus untuk melakukan kajian dan penelitian tentang studi kelayakan Pemekaran Aceh Besar sebagai jawaban atas pro dan kontra masyarakat dalam melihat wacana pemekaran. The purpose of this research was to determine the views of public figures toward a demand expansion of Aceh Besar district , to determine and analyze the public perceptions of the potential for conflict in Aceh Besar expansion plan. The results of this research explains that the presence of Aceh Besar discourse expansion into new territories spawned the pros and cons among the public and the government of Aceh Besar.
