Pelatihan itu berlangsung sejak Maret hingga Juni mendatang. Mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Unsyiah ini menjelaskan, smong adalah istilah naiknya air laut yang biasa digunakan warga Simeulue. Pada tahun 2004 lalu, lanjut Imam, di saat hampir seluruh daerah di Aceh lumpuh karena Tsunami yang dahsyat, Simeulue membuktikan kepada dunia bahwa hikayat Smong menyelamatkan mereka.
