The use of chitosan in a pure state is limited by its poorly soluble in various solvents other than in aqueous weak acids. Moreover, chitosan films are brittle and fragile that it is difficult to use in the form of films for various applications. Long-term goal of this research is to obtain chitosan which is elastic by the addition of plasticizer. The specific target of this research is to obtain information about the effect of adding RBDPO and glycerol as plasticizer on the characteristics of the mechanical properties of chitosan. The research method was carried out in the laboratory experiments. Design research is conducted on a wide variety of compositions blending chitosan and plasticizer of RBDPO and glycerol on the mechanical properties including tensile strength and elongation. The relsulted blended sample is cast in the form of thin films and characterized by tensile strength test. The test results showed that the mechanical properties of tensile strength reaches optimum conditions where the plasticizer content of 30%, while the extension increases with increasing of plasticizer content. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran muatan lokal, (2) Mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran muatan lokal, dan (3) Mengetahui upaya guru mengatasi kendala dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran muatan lokal. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif untuk menentukan variabel yang akan diteliti dan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru yang mengajar mata pelajaran muatan lokal pada 4 SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Baktiya Kabupaten Aceh Utara yang berjumlah 8 orang. Untuk memperoleh data dalam penelitian ini digunakan instrumen wawancara. Setelah data terkumpul melalui wawancara langsung dengan informan, selanjutnya data dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian: (1) Muatan lokal sudah diajarkan di sekolah-sekolah, akan tetapi belum secara maksimal, (2) Guru masih menghadapi kendala dalam pembelajaran muatan lokal yang bersifat internal dan eksternal, dan (3) Upaya guru untuk mengatasi kenndala dalam pembelajaran muatan lokal adalah dengan meningkatkan kompetensinya. Simpulan: (1) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran muatan lokal belum berjalan sebagaimana mestinya karena tidak ada guru yang berkompeten karena bukan bidang ilmunya sendiri dan terbatasnya bahan untuk materi mata pelajaran muatan lokal, (2) Kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran muatan lokal adalah kurang ada kompetensi karena bukan bidang ilmu, tidak ada pelatihan, dan terbatasnya bahan ajar, dan (3 Upaya guru mengatasi kendala dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran muatan lokal adalah dengan banyak membaca buku-buku yang relevan dan bekerjasama baik dengan sesama guru muatan lokal maupun guru-guru lain. Saran: (1) Kepada pemerintah daerah diharapkan agar dapat mencukupi materi-materi ajar tentang muatan lokal dan mengadakan pelatihan secara rutin kepada guru mata pelajaran muatan lokal untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mereka dan (2) Kepada guru diharapkan agar dapat meningkatkan kompetensinya dalam pembelajaran materi muatan lokal, sehingga memudahkan guru dalam menyajikan materi pelajaran kepada siswa. Penelitian ini  bertujuan menginventarisasi jenis-jenis ikan hasil tangkapan nelayan yang didaratkan di TPI Kuala Tuha Kecamatan Kuala Pesisir Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode survey langsung dengan teknik sensus jenis (spesies) ikan yang didaratkan di TPI, data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 2 kelas ikan yang terdiri dari 76 Spesies (43 famili 14 ordo). Jenis ikan yang paling banyak didaratkan adalah dari kelas Osteichthyes (ikan bertulang keras) yaitu Ordo Perciformes yang mencapai lebih dari 50% (Scombridae, Stromateidae, Sciaenidae,  Teraponidae, Serranidae, Mullidae, Kyphosidae, Acanthuridae, Lobotidae, Scatophagidae, Lutjanidae, Lethrinidae, Priacanthidae, Sphyraenidae, Haemulidae, Nemipteridae, Trichiuridae, Ephippidae, Mungilidae, Chandidae, Cichilidae). Dalam penelitian ini terdapat satu jenis ikan yang terancam punah/langka yaitu ikan bukum (Arothon immaculatus) dari Famili Tetraodontidae. Dalam  penelitian ini tidak semua jenis ikan dapat didaratkan di TPI Kuala Tuha hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya faktor cuaca yang tidak mendukung sehingga banyak nelayan yang tidak pergi ke laut.
