The purpose of this study was to examine the Acriflavine doses and immersion time on the sex ratio and survival rate of Bagrid catfish (Hemibagrus nemurus. The completely randomized design of factorial was applied in this research (4x2) with 3 replications. The tested doses were 0 mg/L, 2.5 mg/L, 5 mg/L, and 7.5 mg/L and immersion times were 6 hours and 12 hours.  The Anova test showed that Acriflavine doses and immersion times were not influence significantly on survival rate and sex ratio of Hemibagrus nemurus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh dosis akriflavin dan lama perendaman terhadap keberhasilan pembentukan kelamin jantan dan sintasan benih ikan baung yang terbaik. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial (4x2) dengan tiga kali ulangan. Variabel bebas yang diukur adalah kombinasi antara dosis akriflavin (0 mg/L, 2,5 mg/L, 5 mg/L, dan 7,5 mg/L) pada lama perendaman (6 jam dan 12 jam. Hasil uji Anova menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dosis akriflavin dan lama perendaman tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap sintasan dan rasio kelamin ikan baung. Yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacores) is a large, pelagic, and migratory species of tuna that inhabits Moluccas Sea in Indonesia, and most sea environment worldwide. However, high fishing activities tend to happen in the Indonesia region and catch product appear to be decreasing. A better understanding of yellowfin tuna genetic diversity is required to plan better conservation strategy of tuna. The study was conducted to infer the genetic diversity of yellowfin tuna (T. albacores) in the Moluccas Sea. A total of 41 tissue samples of yellowfin tuna were collected from two regions in the Moluccas Sea (North Moluccas and Ambon) during an expedition in February 2013. The results showed that genetic diversity and nucleotide diversity of yellowfin tuna from North Moluccas population was 0.984 and 0.021, respectively; while in Ambon population, the genetic and nucleotide diversities were 1.00 and 0.018, respectively. The high genetic diversity (0.990) and nucleotide diversity (0.020) between two populations were observed. Tuna sirip kuning (Thunnus albacores) adalah ikan komersial penting dan ditemukan di Laut Maluku, Indonesia. Tetapi, aktivitas penangkapan ikan tuna sirip kuning dapat menurunkan kualitas dan kuantitas stok ikan, sehingga perlu adanya pengkajian keragaman genetik ikan tuna sirip kuning. Pemahaman yang baik tentang keragaman genetika dibutuhkan untuk merencanakan strategi konservasi tuna yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keragaman genetik  ikan tuna sirip kuning dari dua populasi di Laut Maluku. Sebanyak 41 sampel jaringan dari tuna sirip kuning dikumpulkan dari dua populasi di Laut Maluku (Maluku Utara dan Ambon) selama ekspedisi pada bulan Februari 2013. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keragaman genetik populasi tuna sirip kuning pada perairan Maluku Utara dan Ambon masing-masing sebesar 0,984 dan 1,00 sedangkan nilai keragaman nukleotida masing-masing bernilai 0,021 dan 0,018. Nilai keragaman genetik dan keragaman nukloetida yang tinggi didaptkan antar kedua populasi masing-masing sebesar 0,990 dan 0,020. The Sampling used purposive sampling, is the sample members selected by objective research. This research is a qualitative survey using a quantitative approach. The method used in this study is descriptive. The data was collected using a test instrument. In addition, interviews were also used as supporting data in the study. Processing quantitative data used Spearman rank correlation coefficient, while qualitative in percentage form. The results of the analysis obtained rs value about 0,94. Check the table of values r product moment with df of 14, at a significance level of 5% is obtained r table = 0,532, whereas the significance level of 1% is obtained r = 0,661 table. rs value is greater than the price r table, both at significance level of 5% (0,94 > 0,532), as well as the significant level of 1% (0,94 > 0,661). Thus, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted it means there is a strong positive correlation between the variables X and Y. Mekanisasi pertanian dengan menggunakan traktor sebagai tenaga penggerak sudah lama dilakukan, dampak buruk penggunaan traktor dan peralatan mekanis lainnya adalah pemadatan tanah. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji perubahan sifat fisika tanah serta pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kedelai akibat tekanan ban sebagai tumpuan berat traktor dan pemberian pupuk urea pada pengolahan tanah. Penelitian ini merupakan percobaan lapangan dengan menggunakan rancangan petak terbagi, terdiri dari tiga variasi tekanan angin ban dan tiga dosis pemberian pupuk urea yaitu: 0 kg.ha-1, 25 kg.ha-1 and 50 kg.ha-1. Parameter yang diamati adalah : (1) sifat fisika tanah (2) kapasitas lapang pembajakan dan (3) hasil kedelai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh tekanan ban dan pemberian pupuk nitrogen secara interaksi berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap permeabilitas tanah. Tekanan ban traktor sangat nyata berpengaruh terhadap berat volume tanah, porositas tanah, permeabilitas tanah, kadar air tanah pada pF 2,54 dan 4,2. Pemberian pupuk nitrogen sangat nyata berpengaruh terhadap permeabilitas tanah, tinggi tanaman dan jumlah cabang produktif pada masing-masing 30 dan 45 HST serta pada berat 100 biji kedelai.Soil Compaction and Soybean Yield Due to Urea and Tractor Tire Pressure TreatmentsAbstract. Mechanization of agriculture by using a tractor propulsion system is old, the adverse effects the use of tractors and other mechanical equipment is soil compaction. Research was aimed to study some soil physical properties, crop growth and yield of soybean affected by tire pressure, as the support heavy tractors and nitrogen. This research is a field experiment using a split plot design, consists of three variations of the tire pressure and the three doses of urea  fertilizer was : 0 kg.ha-1, 25 kg.ha-1 and 50 kg.ha-1.The parameters observed was : (1) physical properties of soil (2) plowing field capacity and (3) soybean yields. The results showed that the effect of tire pressure and nitrogen fertilizer interaction was highly significant for soil permeability. Tractor tire pressure has significant influential on the weight of the volume of soil, soil porosity, soil permeability, soil moisture content at pF 2.54 and 4.2. Nitrogen fertilizer has significant influential on the permeability of the soil, plant height and number of productive branches on each of 30 and 45 days after planting, and the weight of 100 seeds of soybean.
