Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa melalui penerapan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretes postes control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 150 siswa, sampel penelitian sebanyak 60 orang siswa yang dibagi menjadi dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontro1. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes objektif berbentuk pilihan ganda. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan tes kemampuan awal (pretes), tes kemampuan akhir (postes). Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan mencari gain yang ternorrnalisasi dan membandingkan antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t, Basil uji statistik penguasaan konsep siswa menunjukkan hasil dan untuk keterampilan berpikir kritis diperolch thiluog4,87 dengan nilai ttabel 1,645. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan keterarnpilan berpikir kritis siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan strategi inkuiri lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model konvensional di SMP Ncgcri 1 Simpang Tiga Kabupaten Pidie.Kata kunci : Strategi Pembelajaran Inkuiri, Penguasaan Konsep, KeterampilanBerpikir Kritis, Materi Struktur dan Fungsi Tubuh Tumbuhan. Kondisi ini membawa dampak buruk bagi kesehatan manusia dan sangat berpengaruh terhadap pendidikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui Faktor-faktor Yang Mendorong Merokok Pada Pelajar Laki-laki SMAN 1 Jantho Makmur Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Sampel adalah pelajar laki-laki di SMAN 1 Jantho Makmur Kabupaten Aceh Besar berjumlah 52 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara stratified random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 69,2 % pelajar laki-laki di SMAN 1 Jantho Makmur Kabupaten Aceh Besar merokok kurang dari satu tahun, 51,9 % tipe perokok sedang, merokok dipengaruhi oleh orang tua 36,5 %, teman sebaya 55,8 %, dipengaruhi oleh kepribadian 42,3 % dan dipengaruhi oleh iklan 53,8 %. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pelajar laki-laki di SMAN 1 Jantho Makmur Kabupaten Aceh Besar merokok kurang dari satu tahun dengan tipe perokok sedang dan merokok karena pengaruh teman sebaya paling tinggi di ikuti pengaruh iklan, kepribadian dan orang tua untuk merokok.
