<text>Abstract. Rawa Tripa is a peat forest area in Nagan Raya Subdistrict, Aceh Province with diverse ecological benefits as well as high content of carbon that plays an important role in minimizing the effect of greenhouse gas on earth. Yet, the preservation of ecosystem in the region is currently threatened due to the reduction of peat land cover area and other environmental damages. One of the causes of the reduction of the total area of the region is the plantation production activity done by several oil-palm plantation companies operating in the area of Rawa Tripa. In relation to the current environmental damages, a number of parties and stakeholders in Aceh Province have taken an initiative to take a joint action to save Rawa Tripa and one of the actions taken is done through a community-based approach. The community-based environmental movement has been regarded as an alternative solution to solve a number of environmental problems. Community approach which is also known as partnership-based approach or community participation in maintaining the natural resource preservation and management. Various constraints founded in supporting the effectiveness of this community-based environmental protection movement are, among other things, the lack of joint commitment to maintain the preservation of this area, and the parties with different interests and paradigm in managing the natural resources in Rawa Tripa. The factors which can support the successful of the environmental movement are the harmonious ideas and agendas of the parties implementing the movement or action and the high level of local community participation.</text>

Konsentrasi madu menunjukkan daya antifungi terbaik pada konsentrasi 100% dengan diameter zona hambat 10,75 mm.Kata kunci : Candida albicans, Madu Mangifera indica, antifungi, nistatin ABSTRACTCandida albicans is cause of leucorrhea in woman and others dermal disorders. <text>The vitellogenin (Vtg) is a precursor for the synthesis of egg yolk protein. Feeding with zinc-supplemented diet is hypothesized to increase the circulating Vtg thereby enhancing reproductive development. A total of 80 ducks, aged 16 weeks old, were randomly assigned to treatment groups; namely: group A with 40 ducks fed with 30 ppm zinc-supplemented diet (zinc positive) and group B with 40 ducks fed with no added zinc (zinc negative). Thecirculating Vtg at sexual maturity (155.11±10.83 days old) were determined from the blood sera. The sera were assayed for Vtg in duplicate using 96–well microplate and read the optical density at 415nm. The zinc concentrationof the samples was calculated using the nonlinear regression =OD = a x [Zn2+] / (b + [Zn2+]. Results show that the circulating Vtg in the blood sera of ducks at sexual maturity were 0.69±0.07 Gg Zn dL-1. The feeding of zinc-treateddiet had no significant influenced on the concentration of circulating Vtg. There was also insignificant difference in the reproductive morphology of ducks fed with or without added zinc. The Vtg concentration had no correlation withreproductive parameters but found to be positively correlated with liver weight (H=0.21) and negatively correlated with body weight (H = -0.24).</text>
