Usaha-usaha perlu digalakkan dan dikoordinasikan secara rapi agar tingkat kerusakan menjadi seminimal mungkin. Salah satu alternatif pengendalian penyakit pasca panen pada buah-buahan dengan pengendalian secara fisik yang berupa perlakuan suhu panas (heat treatment), dengan tidak menggunakan bahan kimia dan biayanya lebih murah. Perlakuan panas pada setiap buah tidak sama waktunya, untuk itu perlu adanya penentuan waktu yang tepat. Hal ini untuk menghindari kerusakan akibat suhu tinggi dan gejalanya dapat di lihat seperti kulit buah mengerut dan buah menjadi sangat lunak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menduga distribusi suhu pada buah Tomat dengan berbagai tingkat kematangan selama perlakuan panas (heat treatment) dengan menggunakan model ball.Penelitian analisis pindah panas pada buah tomat menggunakan buah tomat dengan tiga tingkat kematangan yaitu tomat hijau, tomat pecah warna dan tomat merah serta penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara mengukur suhu pada pusat, daging serta kulit buah tomat. Hasil pengukuran dihubungkan dengan pengukuran metode ball. Parameter penelitian yang dilakukan diantaranya analisis sifat fisik buah tomat yang meliputi pengukuran volume, pengukuran massa jenis. Analisis sifat termal pada buah tomat yang meliputi perhitungan panas jenis, perhitungan konduktivitas panas dan perhitungan difusivitas panas serta perhitungan model pindah panas dengan metode ball dan verifikasi model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan suhu rata-rata pada inti pusat buah tomat merah lebih rendah dari suhu rata-rata kulit dan daging buah tomat pada semua variasi suhu. Pada perlakuan panas suhu 45 oC pada menit ke-30 diperoleh suhu rata-rata pada pusat tomat hijau adalah 42,1 oC, suhu rata-rata pada tomat pecah warna 42,06 oC dan suhu rata-rata pada tomat merah adalah 42,4 oC. Pada perlakuan panas suhu 50 oC menit ke-30 diperoleh suhu pusat buah tomat hijau adalah 44,83 oC, suhu rata-rata pada tomat pecah warna 45,06 oC dan suhu rata-rata pada tomat merah adalah 45,3 oC. Pada perlakuan panas suhu 60 oC pada menit ke-30 diperoleh suhu pusat pada tomat hijau adalah 54,3 oC, suhu rata-rata pada tomat pecah warna 54,76 oC dan suhu rata-rata pada tomat merah adalah 55,03 oC. Nilai kesalahan (error) pada semua perlakuan panas dengan berbagai tingkat kematangan buah tomat lebih kecil dari taraf uji 5 % dan dapat dinyatakan sebaran data terarah dan nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) hampir mendekati angka 1. Model pindah panas akan semakin akurat jika nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) yang didapat mendekati 1. The discussion  in  this  study  is  based on Michael H. Long’s 1996 Interaction Hypothesis suggesting that environment contributes to the development of second language acquisition. Long proposes that environmental contributions to acquisition are mediated by selective attention and the learner’s processing capacity during negotiation for meaning. To support this belief, recent empirical studies are also presented in this article. Three negotiation for meaning strategies are discussed in this study to mirror and provide evidence  for  Long’s proposal, including several  excerpts from  conversations  collected from daily natural conversations  and other recorded sources. The strategies include (1) clarification requests, (2) confirmation checks, and (3) comprehension checks. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah pasien diabetes melitus yang melakukan kunjungan di Poli Endokrin Rumah Sakit Umum dr.Zainoel Abidin. Bahkan sebahagian dari mereka memilih untuk golongan putih.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk partisipasi politik pemilih pemula di kalangan pelajar SMA 3 dan SMA 4 kota Banda Aceh dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi partisipasi politik pemilih pemula di kalangan pelajar SMA 3 dan SMA 4 kota Banda Aceh.Data dalam penulisan ini diperoleh melalui kajian kepustakaan dan lapangan. Penelitian kepustakaan dilakukan dengan cara membaca buku teks, peraturan perundang-undangan, dan bahan-bahan bacaan lainnya yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini, sedangkan penelitian lapangan dilakukan dengan cara mewawancarai informan penelitian.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk partisipasi yang dominan dikalangan pemilih pemula SMA 3 dan SMA 4 dengan menggunakan hak pilihnya di kota Banda Aceh tahun 2014 adalah bentuk pemberian suara, mengikuti kampanye, diskusi politik, dan kegiatan kepartaian. Adapun faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilih pemula SMA 3 dan SMA 4 kota Banda Aceh dalam menggunakan haknya yaitu orang tua, pilihan sendiri, partai politik, media massa dan iklan, serta teman sepergaulan.Disarankan kepada pemilih pemula agar dapat meningkatkan partisipasi dalam setiap pemilihan umum untuk menentukan bangsa Indonesia kedepannya lebih baik dan kepada partai politik, media massa. KIP Aceh agar dapat menjalankan fungsinya dengan baik, dalam hal ini yaitu memberikan sosialisasi kepada setiap pemilih pemula tentang pentingnya pemilih pemula untuk ikut berpartisipasi dalam pemilu .Kata Kunci: partisipasi politik, pemilih pemula.
