Statistika merupakan salah satu materi pelajaran yang harus dikuasai siswa namun di SMANegeri2 RSBI Banda Aceh hasil belajar siswa rendah. Model pembelajaran ARCS dalam mempelajari materi statistika dapat menjadi alternatif yang dapat diterapkan dengan harapan siswa termotivasi dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketuntasan belajar siswa, perhatian (attention), keterkaitan bahan ajar dengan kebutuhan siswa (relevance), percaya diri (confidence), dan kepuasan (satisfaction) siswa pada materi statistika yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran ARCS. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Penelitian ini merupakan pre-eksperimental design  jenis one shot case study. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 RSBI Banda Aceh dengan KKM materi Statistika 75. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IA 1 sebanyak 24 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar, angket motivasi siswa, wawancara, dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perhatian siswa, keterkaitan bahan ajar dengan kebutuhan siswa, percaya diri siswa, dan kepuasan siswa dikategorikan baik  untuk setiap pertemuan. Respon siswa pada setiap aspek ARCS dikategorikan positif. Namun ketuntasan secara klasikal belum terpenuhi karena persentase siswa yang tuntas belajar  secara individu (KKM = 75) kurang dari 85%. It needs students to have good relational thinking in order for algebraic understanding to grow.  Relational thinking means that the students develop the concept of a number that can vary, build upon similarities and differences, and appreciate for the equals sign as signifying equivalence of expressions. Three categories of relational thinking will be discussed in this paper: emerging, consolidating and established relational thinking. Analyzing data from some junior high school students in Banda Aceh it can be said that most students are still at the stage of emerging relational thinking. They construct limited responses to given questions. Many consolidating relational thinkers’ students are concerned that the relationships hold only for a specific range of numbers. Established relational thinkers demonstrate good algebraic thinking processes. Three types of sentences have a potential for develop algebraic thinking with respect to equivalence, attention to operations, different numbers, compensation, and generalisation. Having presented students’ responses to these three types of questions, we ask: how can teachers help students to move beyond the partial descriptions that characterize emerging relational thinkers. Di Provinsi Aceh sendiri kerusakan berupa hancurnya infrastruktur di kawasan pantai barat maupun pantai timur aceh dan hilangnya mata pencaharian masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini menganalisa faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi tingkat produktivitas tambak pasca tsunami dan merumuskan strategi pengembangan yang dapat diterapkan dalam meningkatkan produktivitas tambak pasca tsunami. Data yang digunakan berupa data primer dan data sekunder. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif, adapun alat bantu analisis yaitu tabel IFAS (Internal Strategic Factors Analysis Summary), tabel EFAS (Eksternal Strategic Factors Analysis Summary), dan matriks SWOT (Strenght-Weakness-Opportunity-Threats Matrix). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor internal yang paling mempengaruhi yaitu kondisi dan letak geografis tambak dan pengadaan benih dengan kualitas benih yang belum terjamin. Sedangkan faktor eksternalnya yaitu pangsa pasar masih tinggi dan terjadinya alih fungsi lahan. Hasil pendekatan kualitatif menggunakan matriks SWOT menghasilkan tujuh alternatif strategi, dimana hasil prioritas utama adalah meningkatkan kapasitas potensi hasil produk budidaya dan mengoptimalkan kebijakan pemerintah dalam pengembangan budidaya dengan total bobot yaitu 1,88 dan selanjutnya diikuti dengan alternatif strategi lainya. The purpose of this study to analyze internal and external factors that affect the level of productivity of the farm after the tsunami and formulate development strategies that can be applied to improve the productivity of the pond after the tsunami . The data used in the form of primary data and secondary data . The analytical method used is descriptive analysis with qualitative and quantitative approaches , while the analysis tool is table IFAS ( Internal Strategic Factors Analysis Summary ) table EFAS ( External Strategic Factors Analysis Summary ) , and matrix SWOT (Strength - Weakness - Opportunity - Threats Matrix ) . The results showed that the internal factors which most affect pond conditions and geographical location and procurement of seed with the seed quality is not guaranteed . While external factors are still high market share and the land use . The results of a qualitative approach using the SWOT matrix produced seven alternative strategies , where the results first priority is to increase the capacity of the potential for aquaculture products and optimize the results of government policy in the development of cultivation with a total weight of 1.88 and is subsequently followed by other strategic alternatives .
