The percentage mortality of House flies larvae range between 0% and 100%at different exposed dose rate of tested insecticide. Probit analysis was used to determine the LD50. The value LD50 for malathion without food medium was 0.833 -l/larvae and treatment with food medium was 0.895 -l/larvaerespectively. The LD50 for Fendona® without food medium was 0.545 -l/larvae and 0.870 -l/larvae for treatment with food medium. The LD50 values for Fendona® in both treatment was lowers compared with malathion, which meansthat alphacypermethrin is more toxic than malathion. Different with the test on adult house flies, the knockdown time values for alphacypermethrin at KT50 is 9.876 minutes and KT95 is 20.495 minutes against female adult house fliesand were significantly lower than malathion (KT50 is 75.17 minutes and KT95 is 103.38 minutes respectively). Result also showed that a total of 1.0-l of Fendona® is reacting more effective than 1.0-l of malathion. Therefore, we canconclude that Fendona® is the most effective insecticide towards larvae and adult stage of M. domestica. This study uses experimental method to design treatment by level 2 x 2. The population of the study is all students of secondary schools in Tanjung Priok subdistrict, Jakarta during study years of 2012-2013. The sample of the study is all students of SMPN 140 Jakarta. Sampling was selected using Multi Stage Random Sampling in order to obtain a sample of 40 students. Research hypotheses were tested using the analysis of variance (ANOVA). The study found that; (1) reasoning ability in the group of students who were given the approach of Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic (VAK) is higher than the reasoning ability groups of students were given the conventional approach in the subject of natural sciences, (2) there is an interaction effect between learning approach and belief in the ability of reasoning, (3) the ability of reasoning group of students who were given a higher VAK approach of a group of students who were given conventional approach to groups of students who have a high belief, and (4) the ability of reasoning groups of students were given lower VAK approach of a group of students who given the conventional approach to groups of students who have a low belief. The finding of this study would be beneficial for science teachers and for teachers of other subjects in general to implement VAK approach in enhancing and improving the reasoning ability of student in the subject of natural science. Aceh Tengah selama bulan April sampai Mei 2014. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aspek reproduksi ikan ili (Homaloptera sp.) serta mengetahui hubungan panjang berat dan faktor kondisi ikan ili (Homaloptera sp.). Penangkapan ikan dilakukan menggunakan alat tangkap serok dan serue (perangkap), ikan yang tertangkap diawetkan dengan menggunakan formalin 10%. Jumlah ikan ili (Homaloptera sp.) yang diamati selama penelitian adalah sebanyak 147 ekor, terdiri dari 92 ekor ikan jantan, 50 ekor ikan betina dan 5 ekor ikan tidak teridentifikasi jenis kelaminnya, panjang total ikan berkisar antara 3,36-9,05 cm. Analisa hubungan panjang berat ikan ili (Homaloptera sp.) didapatkan nilai b = 3,522 untuk ikan jantan dan 3,873 ikan betina, maka pola pertumbuhannya adalah allometrik positif. Nilai faktor kondisi rata-rata ikan jantan berkisar antara 1,01-1,32, dan ikan betina berkisar antara 1,26-1,69. Nisbah kelamin ikan ili (Homaloptera sp.) selama penelitian berada dalam kondisi tidak seimbang (berbeda nyata) 1,84:1. Ikan ili (Homaloptera sp.) yang diamati selama penelitian memiliki TKG I, II, III, dan IV sedangkan TKG V tidak ditemukan. Kisaran nilai IKG ikan betina lebih besar (2,54-16,81 %) daripada ikan jantan (0,29-3,23 %), diduga ikan ili dapat memijah sepanjang tahun dengan tipe pemijahan partial spawner. Fekunditas ikan ili berkisar antara 47-908 butir.
