Manfaat tersebut adalah sebagai kosmetik dan bahan pangan yang bisa difungsikan sebagai pencegah penyakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat aktifitas antibakteri yang ada pada daun kecombrang. Minyak atsiri dihasilkan dengan cara menyuling menggunakan metode destilasi uap air. Uji fitokimia daun kecombrang dilakukan secara kualitatif. Uji aktivitas minyak atsiri daun kecombrang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode difusi terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureus. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 kali pengulangan. Hasil penyulingan minyak atsiri dari daun kecombrang sebanyak 5 kg yaitu 1,9 cc. Hasil skrining fitokimia daun kecombrang menunjukkan terdapatnya senyawa kimia alkaloid, terpenoid dan saponin. Hasil uji aktivitas antibakteri menunjukkan bahwa minyak atsiri pada konsentrasi 75% memberi daya hambat paling efektif terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureus yaitu sebesar 11,8 mm. Sementara pada minyak atsiri daun kecombrang konsentrasi 50% dan 25% yaitu memberikan daerah hambat berturut-turut 9 mm dan 6,8 mm. Data dianalisis normalitas dan homogenitasnya dengan menggunakan uji Shapiro-Wilk dan uji Levene, kemudian setelah terbukti bahwa data terdistribusi normal dan homogen, maka dianalisis dengan ANOVA yang menunjukkan minyak atsiri daun kecombrang memiliki pengaruh yang nyata terhadap pertumbuhan Staphylococcus aureus dan dilanjutkan dengan uji beda Duncan yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang nyata pada setiap perlakuan. Namun sejauh ini prestasi Indonesia masih memprihatinkan, hal ini dikarenakan siswa di Indonesia belum terbiasa menyelesaikan soal dengan karakteristik seperti soal PISA sehingga menimbulkan miskonsepsi ketika menyelesaikan soal tersebut. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui miskonsepsi yang dilakukan siswa kelas VIII dalam menyelesaikan soal PISA di SMP Negeri 18 Banda Aceh pada tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif, penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Yang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas VIII yang dipilih secara acak sebanyak 3 siswa dari tiap-tiap kelas dan keseluruhannya berjumlah 15 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa tes tertulis berbentuk uraian yang diambil dari soal PISA sebanyak 4 soal dan setiap soal mewakili konten yang berbeda, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan wawancara terhadap 4 siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi. Adapun dari hasil analisis tes dan wawancara didapatkan miskonsepsi pada setiap konten, pada konten perubahan dan hubungan terlihat bahwa siswa mengalami miskonsepsi tentang perubahan satuan waktu dan kecepatan maksimum, pada konten ruang dan bentuk terlihat bahwa siswa mengalami miskonsepsi tentang penulisan rumus phytagoras dan jumlah sudut suatu segitiga, pada konten kuantitas terlihat bahwa siswa mengalami miskonsepsi tentang penulisan persamaan dan pemfaktoran aljabar, pada konten ketidakpastian dan data terlihat bahwa siswa mengalami miskonsepsi tentang nilai suatu barang yaitu ketika menyatakan nilai maksimum dan miminum dari barang tersebut, serta terdapat ketidaksesuaian antara jawaban siswa dengan keterangan pada soal. This study reports the use of membrane adsorbers for glycerol capturing and removing in crude biodiesel. The MMM are prepared by a wet phase inversion method. Magnesol were incorporated as active sites in the membrane. Matrix support of the membrane was prepared from chitosan.The optimum compositions of the adsorptive membranes were 3 % chitosan, 15% DMF and 60% loading adsorbent. The porosity of these membranes was 34 % and swelling degree was 52 %. The membrane clean water flux was 225 Lm-2h-1 at a trans-membrane pressure of 2.5 bar. The adsorptive membrane has been demonstrated to reduce the concentration of total glycerol in crude biodiesel. The amount of glycerol in biodiesel can be reduced 69.93 % in 60 minute which is agreed to value of SNI quality standards. The membrane adsorber can be regenerated and reused for biodiesel purification. The regenerated membrane can be reused with maintaining the high adsorption capacity. The methanol was better than ethanol to regenerate the magnesol membrane.
