Emosi menuntut kita menghadapi saat-saat kritis dan tugas-tugas yang terlampau riskan bila hanya diserahkan kepada otak. Perasaan bisa dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya sugesti, kelelahan, perhatian, intelegensi sehingga ikut mewarnai emosi. Konsep kecerdasan emosional terdiri dari lima komponen, yaitu kemampuan mengenali emosi diri, mengelola emosi diri, memotivasi diri, mengenali emosi orang lain, dan membina hubungan dengan orang lain. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran kecerdasan emosional pada siswi SMA Teuku Nyak Arif Fatih Bilingual School Banda Aceh tahun 2013. Penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 20 s/d 22 Juni 2013. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif, dan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah teori pendekatan kuantitatif, pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling 86 siswi. Alat ukur yang digunakan kuesioner yang berisikan 30 pernyataan. Analisa data pada penelitian ini adalah analisa univariat. Secara umum, hasil penelitian gambaran kecerdasan emosional pada siswi SMA Teuku Nyak Arif Fatih Bilingual School Banda Aceh tahun 2013 berada pada kategori baik yaitu 40 siswi (46,5%), mengenali emosi diri 44siswi (51,2%), mengelola emosi diri 59siswi (68,6%), memotivasi diri 49 siswi (57,0%), mengenali emosi orang lain 49 siswi (57,0%), membina hubungan dengan orang lain 61 siswi (70,9%). Kepada tempat penelitian SMA Teuku Nyak Arif Fatih Bilingual School Banda Aceh, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional dalam diri siswi dengan cara meningkatkan kemampuan menghibur diri, selalu berpikir positif dengan membaca buku-buku yang dapat memotivasi diri, dan kemampuan mengungkapkan permasalahan secara asertif dengan membina hubungan social dan komunikasi yang baik dengan sesame. The concept of emotional quotient consist of five component ; the ability to recognize emotions, managing emotions, self motivating, recognizing emotion in others, and make a relationship with others. The purpose of this study is to know the description of EQ in student at Teuku Nyak Arif Fatih Bilingual School Banda Aceh 2013. Data was collected on 20-22 Juni 2013. The type of this study is descriptive, and design of this study is quantitative approach theory, using a total sampling of 86 students. Measuring instrument using a questionaire consist of 30 questions. The data analisys in this study using univariate. Generalize, the result of this study are in good categories is 40 students (46,5%), recognize selft emotion 44 students (51,2%), managing emotion 59 students (68,6%), self motivating 49 students (57,0 %), recognize emotion in others 61 students (70,9%). For Teuku Nyak Arif Fatih Bilingual School is expect to increase the emotional quotient of students by increasing the ability to entertain them selves, think positively with reading books that can motivated them selves, and ability to express problem assertively with social relationship and good communication with others. Kepuasan lansia merupakan indikator utama dari standar suatu Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas (UPTD) Rumoh Seujahtera Geunaseh Sayang dan dapat dijadikan ukuran mutu pelayanan yang diberikan. Penilaian kualitas pelayanan didasarkan pada lima dimensi yaitu tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance dan empathy. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperoleh gambaran tingkat kepuasan lansia terhadap pelayanan di Unit Pelaksana Teknis dinas (UPTD) Rumoh Seujahtera Geunaseh Sayang Banda Aceh. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif eksploratif. Tehnik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 lansia. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dari tanggal 4 maret sampai dengan 6 maret 2013. Alat pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dalam skala likert berbentuk Check List terdiri atas 22 item pernyataan. Cara pengumpulan data menggunakan tehnik wawancara terpimpin. Hasil penelitian yang didapat variabel tingkat kepuasan lansia terhadap pelayanan di Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas (UPTD) Rumoh Seujahtera Geunaseh Sayang didapatkan bahwa sebanyak 43 lansia berada dalam kategori puas (71,7%) dan 17 lansia (28,3%) berada dalam kategori tidak puas. Elderly satisfaction is the main standard indicator of a Technical Implementation Unit Office and it can be used as a measurement of quality provided. Assessment of service quality based on five dimensions, namely tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The purpose of this study was to obtain the description about the satisfaction level of elderly toward the service in Rumoh Seujahtera Geunaseh Sayang UPTD of Banda Aceh. This study employed descriptive eksplorative. Samples were collected by using purposive sampling technique, amounting to 60 elderly. Data collection was conducted on March 4 - 6 in 2013. Instrument used were questionnaires in the form of Likert scale in checklist form comprising of 22 statement items. Data were collected by using guided interview technique. The result showed that 43 elderly (71.7%) were satisfied with the services provided by Rumoh Seujahtera Geunaseh Sayang UPTD meanwhile 17 elderly (28.3%) were unsatisfied with the services. Penggabungan data time-series dan data cross-section dikenal dengan sebutan data panel. Data panel dapat diringkas menjadi beberapa model, antara lain model efek umum, model efek tetap dan model efek acak. Ketiga model data panel tersebut menggunakan metode yang berbeda dalam pendugaan parameter, yaitu model efek umum dengan metode OLS (Ordinary Least Square), model efek tetap dengan metode LSDV (Least Square Dummy Variabel), dan model efek acak dengan metode GLS (Generalized Least Square). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan ketiga model data panel dan memilih model yang terbaik dari ketiga model data panel tersebut. Data yang digunakan adalah data kemiskinan di Provinsi Aceh tahun 2007-2012 yang terdiri atas lima variabel bebas yang mempengaruhi kemiskinan yaitu angka buta huruf, pertumbuhan ekonomi, tingkat pengangguran terbuka, tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja, dan angka harapan hidup. Dari hasil penelitian, menggunakan Chow Test, Lagrange-Multiplier Test dan Hausmann Test didapatkan model terbaik yang layak digunakan pada data kemiskinan di Provinsi Aceh tahun 2007-2012 yaitu model efek tetap. Model efek tetap memiliki nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) paling tinggi dibandingkan model efek umum dan model efek acak, sebesar 0.818 yang lebih besar dari 0.285 dan 0.292. Dalam hal ini, model mampu menjelaskan hubungan antara angka buta huruf, pertumbuhan ekonomi, tingkat pengangguran terbuka, tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja dan angka harapan hidup terhadap angka kemiskinan sebesar 81.8%.
