This research examines the influence of ENSO (El Niño and Southern Oscillation) in the Malacca Strait with the southern oscillation index using the Pacific Ocean in determining the condition of Normal, El Niño and La Nina as the analysis of mass transpor of sea water, sea surface elevation and the density of the sea. The research methods using the Navier-Stokes equations with force generating tides, winds from the National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) Year 1980- 007, salinity(Levitus and Boyer, 1994a) and temperature (Levitus and Boyer, 1994b). Equations of motion of the sea water were modeled with the model of Hamburg Shelf Ocean Model (HAMSOM). The results show that the transport in northwestern part of the Malacca Strait is lower, but in the southeastern part is stronger compared to that of in Normal and La Nina events. While in Sea Level Elevation at El Niño event is lower compared to that of in Normal and La Nina events. For sea surface density, the density values are 18.5 s/d 20.5 kg/m3 while for the later 30-50 m, the values are 19-21 kg/m3. Sea surface density and density for layer 30-50 m in th southeastern part of Malacca Strait for El Niño events are higher than that of in normal and La Nina event. The study of the lenght weight relationships and condition factors of the brackiswater fishes found in Kuala Gigeng was conducted. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the growth pattens and condition factor of the belanak (Mugil cephalus), seriding (Ambassis koopsii) and petek (Leiognathus fasciatus). The sampling was conducted for eight time on July 2011 by using gillnet and castnet. The results showed that the belanak (M. cephalus) and seriding (A. koopsii) have allometric negative growth patten, while the petek (L. fasciatus) has an allometric positive. In addition, the relative weight condition factor's was higher than 100. And the Fulton's condition factor were not different significantly among fishes. Indicating the condition of the Kuala Gigeng is relatively in good condition and support fish growth as well.Keywords. A principal absolutely must have a competence as a supervisor because through supervision activities problems faced by teachers in the implementation of learning and development of professionalism can be identified, so that a solution can be found through routine coaching by the principal. The purpose of this study was to determine the teaching supervision program in an effort to improve the performance and professionalism of teachers at SMAN 1 Peukan Bada Senior High School in Aceh Besar Regency. This study used a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were: observation, interview and documentation study. The subjects of the study were principal and teachers of SMAN 1 Peukan Bada. The results of the study showed that: (1) The principal has the ability as a supervisor in the implementation of teacher professional development program in SMAN 1 Peukan Bada, (2) The principal used individual supervision technique as the strategy to improve the professionalism of teachers through classroom visit activity, classroom observation, peer supervision, informal supervision and group technique, (3) The supervision carried by the principal provided a positive impact in improving the professionalism of teachers, with the growing understanding of the teachers on how to become good educators, (4) The obstacle in the implementation of program supervision was the limited time, resulting in uneven supervision activities for any teacher, so that the efforts to improve teachers' competence was not optimal. Keywords: The Competence, Principal, Professionalism, Teacher  Abstrak: Dalam meningkatkatkan profesionalisme guru, pelaksanaan supervisi pengajaran oleh kepala sekolah sangat diperlukan sebagai indikator keberhasilan pelaksanaan pembelajaran disekolah dan tugas-tugas guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah: observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru SMA Negeri I Peukan Bada Kabupaten Aceh Besar. The objectives of this research were to isolate rhizobacteria from tomato plant rhizosphere and to characterize effective rhizobacteria isolates to deter growth of Phytopthora capsici colony. The rhizobacteria was isolated from healthy tomato plant rhizosphere, and then antagonism nature to pathogen was evaluated by double culture method. Deterrent ability of the rhizobacteria was measured based on resistance zone formed due to the presence of the biocontrol agents. Among 57 isolates, 18 were potential for further evaluation. Deterrent ability test of the 18 isolates resulted in 3 isolates which were very promising to be developed as biocontrol agents to control seed borne pathogens.
