Kemudian Rabu 11 April 2012 terjadi gempa yang berkekuatan 8.5 Skala Richter (SR), sehingga warga mengalami kepanikan dan kemacetan saat melakukan evakuasi tsunami. Untuk itu, perlu dilakukan analisa dan pemetaan jalur evakuasi bencana tsunami di Kota Banda Aceh, berdasarkan pemotongan median jalan yang baru pada 10 lokasi di Kota Banda Aceh. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei dan analisa data spasial dengan cara mengumpulkan citra satelit dan pengolahan citra berbasis sistem informasi geografi. Kemudian dilakukan analisa perbandingan jalur evakuasi bencana tsunami sebelum dan sesudah pemotongan median jalan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jarak tempuh jalur evakuasi tsunami sebelum pemotongan median jalan lebih lama, sedangkan jarak tempuh jalur evakuasi tsunami setelah pemotongan median jalan lebih cepat. Faktor pupuk kandang terdiri atas 3 taraf yaitu: tanpa pupuk kandang, 10 ton/ha (1,8 kg/plot) dan 20 ton/ha (3,6 kg/plot). Parameter yang diamati meliputi berangkasan basah keseluruhan, berangkasan basah daun, berangkasan basah akar, berangkasan kering keseluruhan , berangkasan kering daun, berangkasan kering akar, jumlah umbi keseluruhan, jumlah umbi besar, jumlah umbi kecil, berat umbi keseluruhan, berat umbi besar, berat umbi kecil, hasil umbi keseluruhan, hasil umbi besar dan hasil umbi kecil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Klon terbaik dijumpai pada klon CIP-2. Selanjutnya Dosis pupuk kandang yang sesuai dijumpai pada perlakuan 20 ton/ha (3,6 kg/plot).
