Various efforts have been made to speed up non-productive period, including the application of exogenous growth regulators. This is related to biological natural hormones found in plantduring immature rubber. One of the hormones that affects the auxin hormone . This study aims to analyze content auxin hormone found in some clones and plant age during immature rubber. This research was conducted descriptive / review directly to the field by taking leaf samples at the clones PB 260, PB 340 and RRIM 712 which have been determined. To determine the levels of hormones contained in rubber leaf, leaf samples were analyzed at the Research Center for Biology Indonesian Institute of Sciences in Bogor. Observation auxin hormone levels. The results showed that the type clones and different plant age have different content auxint. The highest content of auxin there at the age of 2 years is the plant on clones PB 260 (116.5 ppm) and RRIM 712 (114.0 ppm). Saat ini usia menarche terjadi lebih awal daripada masa lalu akibat berbagai faktor. Usia pada menarche mencerminkan berbagai aspek kesehatan populasi, antara lain aspek pendidikan termasuk tingkat prestasi belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara tingkat prestasi belajar dengan usia menarche pada siswi pelajar Sekolah Menegah Pertama di Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik observasional dan rancangan cross sectional. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket dan juga dari sekolah. Sampel berjumlah 200 responden yang terpilih dengan teknik stratified random sampling. Data dianalisis dengan uji korelasi pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukan rata-rata usia menarche adalah 12,17 tahun(99,0%), yang sebagian siswi(60,5%) memiliki nilai prestasi belajar yang rata-rata dalam kategori sedang. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig 0,843 (p > 0,05) yang menunjukan bahwa hubungan antara tingkat prestasi belajar dengan usia menarche tidak bermakna, dan nilai korelasi sebesar -0.014 (r =-0,014) menunjukan derajat kekuatan korelasi yang sangat lemah dengan arah korelasi negatif. Tidak terdapat hubungan bermakna antara tingkat prestasi belajar dengan usia menarche pada siswi pelajar di Banda Aceh.Kata kunci: Usia menarche, prestasi belajar. The trees planted in 2.0 m x 0.5 m row spacing (10,000 trees ha-1) and trained to super spindle (SS) training system. The vegetative development, yield and fruit quality performances of the trees supported by wire – pole combination were observed for three years. At the end of the experiment, it was determined that Cooper 39 had a higher trunk cross sectional area (TCA) than Topaz and Muscat. While cumulative yield (CY) per tree and cumulative yield efficiency (CYE) were determined to be the highest in Cooper 39, these values were found to be the lowest in Topaz. In this research an adsorption gel was prepared from agricultural waste material (orange waste) through simple chemical modification in the view to remove arsenic (V) from water. Orange waste was crushed into small particles and saponified with Ca(OH)2 to prepare saponified orange waste, which was further modified by immobilizing gadolinium(III) to obtain desired adsorption material (Gd(III)-immobilized SOW gel). The effective pH range for arsenic adsorption was found to be 7.5 – 8.5. Adsorption capacity of the gel was evaluated to be 0.45 mol-arsenic (V)/kg. Dynamic adsorption of arsenic (V) in column-mode was conducted and a dynamic capacity was found to be 0.39 mol/kg. Elution of arsenate was tested after complete saturation of the column packed with gadolinium-immobilized orange waste adsorption gel. A complete elution of arsenate was achieved with the help of 1 M HCl and 28 times pre-concentration factor was attained. This study showed that a cheap and abundant agro-industrial waste material could be successfully employed for the remediation of arsenic pollution in aquatic environment.Keywords: Arsenic; Orange waste; Gadolinium(III); Adsorption; Elution.
