Banyak kewajiban keuchik terbengkalai karena memiliki andil dalam partai politik serta penyimpangan dalam pelaksanaan tugas kewajiban keuchik yang tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan yang ada.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan faktor yang melatarbelakangi keterlibatan keuchik dalam pemilhan umum legislatif tahun 2014 dan apa dampak keterlibatan keuchik dalam pemilihan umum legislatif terhadap tugas keuchik sebagai aparatur pemerintah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu penelitian lapangan dan penelitian kepustakaan. Studi lapangan untuk memperoleh data primer yang dilakukan dengan cara wawancara. Sedangkan penelitian kepustakaan untuk memperoleh data sekunder berdasrkan buku-buku dan bacaan terkait. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan ada empat faktor yang mendasari latarbelakang keterlibatan keuchik yaitu tekanan kepentingan partai politik penguasa, keuchik beranggapan ini tanggung jawab sebagai pimpinan gampong, motif bantuan ekonomi, dan balas jasa kepada partai politik. Kondisi ini dimanfaatkan oleh partai politik untuk menjalankan kepentingan dengan melibatkan keuchik pada pemilihan legislatif. Permasalahan timbul karena cukup banyak keunggulan-keunggulan yang digunakan oleh perusahan jasa konstruksi, keunggulan tersebut harus digunakan secara tepat agar dihasilkan suatu daya saing bagi perusahaan tersebut untuk terus bersaing dan dapat memenangkan persaingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan faktor-faktor utama yang mempengaruhi daya saing perusahaan kontraktor kelas menengah di Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua tahap, yaitu tahap pengumpulan data dan tahap pengolahan data. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui kuesioner terhadap 31 responden yaitu perusahaan konstruksi kelas menengah di Banda Aceh. Tahap pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan bantuan Microsoft excel dan SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) dengan metode critical success factors (CSFs). Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil analisa validitas menunjukkan bahwa semua variabel valid dengan nilai ? 0,199 dan hasil uji reliabilitas menunjukkan kuisioner memiliki nilai Cronbach Alpha ? 0,6. IC AD9851 is an analog waveform generator to implement the DDS method, which generates a frequency that can be changed according to the needs of its users. The digital signal is generated using a PIC 18F4550 microcontroller that has a full-speed USB 2.0 feature to interface with the computer via USB without the need of special drivers to do the communication. Setting of the output frequency can be done via the keypad or buttons programmed via computer. Lengkuas (Alpinia galanga) adalah salah satu tanaman penting bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Tanaman ini dapat digunakan untuk bumbu masakan dan obat herbal. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk menduga umur simpan lengkuas segar dengan menggunakan model Arrhenius. Lengkuas segar yang baru dipanen dibersihkan dan dipotong-potong dengan ukuran 2cm, kemudian disimpan pada suhu 5, 10 dan 28°C. Evaluasi dilakukan oleh 25 orang panelis dengan menggunakan skala hedonic dari sangat suka sampai sangat tidak suka terhadap warna, kesegaran, aroma dan tekstur. Parameter yang diamati adalah kadar air dan kadar sari larut dalam air. Parameter tersebut diamati dalam interval 3 hari selama 21 hari atau sampai sampel dinyatakan tidak disukai oleh panelis pada salah satu kriteria hedoniknya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pad asuhu 28°C, lengkuas dapat disimpan selama 3 hari, sedangkan pada suhu 10 dan 5°C, lengkuas dapat disimpan selama 12 dan 21 hari. Energi aktivasi (EA) dan tingkat perubahan mutu (Q10) karena kadar sari larut dalam air lebih besar dari energi aktivasi (EA) dan tingkat perubahan mutu (Q10) karena kadar air lengkuas. Namun demikian, kedua parameter tersebut tidak tepat digunakan untuk menduga umur simpan lengkuas. Shelf-Life Prediction of Galanga by Using Arrhenius Model Based on Its Moisture and Water Soluble Extract Content Abstract. Galanga (Alpinia galanga) is one of important plants for Indonesian people. It can be used as spices and also as herbal medicine. The aim of this study is to predict the shelf-life of fresh galanga by using Arrhenius model. Fresh harvested galanga, which was cleaned and chopped at width about 2 cm, was stored at temperatures 5, 10, and 28°C. The evaluation was done by 25 respondents by using hedonic scale from the range of like very much until dislike very much. This hedonic evaluation was assessed, based on colour, freshness, aroma, and texture. Parameters observed were moisture and water soluble extract content. These parameters observed at interval 3 days for 21 days or until the samples were rejected by respondents for at least one of hedonic factors. Results showed that at temperature 28°C, galangal can be stored for 3 days. However, at temperature 10 and 5 °C, galangal can be stored for 12 and 21 days, respectively. The energy act ivation (EA) and the rate of quality change (Q10) due to water soluble extract were higher than those of water content. Nevertheless, these two parameters cannot be used in prediction the shelf-life of fresh galanga. The rice flour was dried for 2 hours at different thickness of 1 and 1.5 cm. The temperatures were measured at several points of the dryer’s tray that is consisted of 4 layers, which was counted from the lowest layer as the first level. The samples were weighed in a small box which was put in the near border of the tray (box A) and in the centre of the tray (box B) for each layer. All measurements were done at interval of 15 minutes. Results showed that the temperature for drying the rice flour at depth 1.5 cm was 66 °C, which was higher than that of drying the rice flour at depth 1 cm (60.5 °C). In consequence, the relative humidity in the drying room at depth 1.5 cm was 35 %, which was lower than that of at depth 1 cm (61.8 %). However, the drying rate at depth 1.5 cm was lower than the drying rate at depth 1 cm. In addition, the distance of tray to the heater was also found to cause the low drying rate. Daun kari (Murraya koenigii) adalah salah satu tanaman herbal yang mengandung senyawa antibakteri seperti flavonoid, tanin, saponin, polifenol, kuinon, steroid, dan carbazol alkaloid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak daun kari (Murraya koenigii) dalam menghambat pertumbuhan E. faecalis. Ekstrak daun kari dibuat dengan metode maserasi dalam pelarut etanol 96% dan diuji fitokimia. Uji pengaruh ekstrak daun kari (Murraya koenigii) dalam menghambat pertumbuhan E. faecalis dilakukan dengan metode difusi cakram pada media MHA. Konsentrasi ekstrak daun kari yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 6,25%, 12,5%, 25%, 50% dan 100%. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan uji Kruskal-Wallis dengan ?=0,05 dan dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut Mann-Whitney.
