Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kebiasaan menontontelevisi pada anak usia sekolah (6-12 tahun) di Desa Rukoh Kecamatan Syiah KualaBanda Aceh Tahun 2013. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif eksploratif dengan desaincross sectional study. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan tehnik non probabilitysampling dengan jenis accidental sampling dengan jumlah sampel 92 ibu rumah tangga(tidak bekerja) yang mempunyai anak usia sekolah (6-12 tahun) dari 107 populasi.Tehnik pengumpulan data dengan angket menggunakan kuesioner dalam bentuk skalalikert dengan 10 item pernyataan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gambarankebiasaan menonton televisi pada anak usia sekolah (6-12 tahun) di Desa Rukohditinjau dari total waktu menoton berada pada kategori baik (54,3%), ditinjau darifrekuensi menonton berada pada kategori baik (56,5%), ditinjau dari pemilihan programacara yang ditonton berada pada kategori baik (55,4%). The aim of the research is toidentify the description of the habit of watching television among school aged (6-12 years old) in Rukoh, subdistrict of Syiah Kuala - Banda Aceh in 2013. Theresearch design is descriptive explorative by using cross sectional study design.Sampling collection was conducted by using non probability sampling withpurposive sampling i.e. 92 head of families from 170 population. Data collectionused questionnaire in Likert scale with 10 statements. The result of the researchshowed that the description of the habit of watching television among school aged(6-12 years old) in Rukoh assessed from total time watching was at good category(54,3%), frequency of watching was at good category (56,5%), program selectionto watch was at good category (55,4%). Konsep-konsep relasi dan fungsi harus dikuasai dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal fungsi kuadrat karena penguasaan relasi dan fungsi berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar fungsi kuadrat. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penulis ingin melakukan penelitian yang berjudul Kontribusi Materi Relasi dan Fungsi Terhadap Fungsi Kuadrat Pada Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh materi relasi dan fungsi dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal fungsi kuadrat. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara memberikan tes relasi dan fungsi serta fungsi kuadrat masing-masing terdiri dari 10 butir soal yang terdiri dari 8 soal pilihan ganda dan 2 soal isian. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Banda Aceh tahun ajaran 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 187 siswa. Pengambilan sampel untuk penelitian hanya satu kelas yakni kelas X MIA 1 sebanyak 33 siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment (r), regresi, dan uji statistic t tentang kemampuan relasi dan fungsi serta fungsi kuadrat. Dari hasil pengolahan data 33 siswa yang mengikuti tes tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1) tingkat pengaruh relasi dan fungsi terhadap fungsi kuadrat terdapat pada kategori tinggi yaitu 0,708. 2) kontribusi relasi dan fungsi terhadap fungsi kuadrat siswa sebesar 50,2%. 3) tingkat uji signifikansi menunjukkan hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak jika thitung> ttabel yaitu diperoleh thitung = 5,581861 sedangkan berdasarkan daftar distribusi t dengan ? = 0,05 dan dk = 31 diperoleh ttabel = 1,696.Tingkat regresi adalah Y=1,31124123+0,6680369x. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah materi relasi dan fungsi memberikan kontribusi terhadap materi fungsi kuadrat.
