Hasil penelitian secara umum menunjukkan bahwa kualitas hidup klienhipertensi yang berada di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Ulee Kareng Banda AcehTahun 2013 berada pada kategori baik dengan 21 responden (51,2 %). Dari empatsubvariabel kualitas hidup yang diteliti didapatkan data bahwa tiga di antaranyaberada pada kategori baik yaitu subvariabel domain kesehatan fisik (53,7%),domain kesejahteraan psikologis (53,7%) dan domain hubungan sosial (70,7%)sedangkan untuk satu subvariabel lainnya berada pada kategori kurang baik yaitudomain hubungan dengan lingkungan (56%). Diharapkan kepada klien hipertensi,agar dapat mempertahankan kualitas hidupnya dengan selalu produktif danmenjaga kesehatan fisik, psikologis, hubungan sosial, dan hubungan denganlingkungan serta tetap memanfaatkan pelayanan kesehatan. Kualitas hidup dinilai menggunakan kuisioner SF-36, derajat sesak dinilai menggunakan skala sesak (mMRC Scale), derajat PPOK diukur menggunakan spirometri dan riwayat eksaserbasi diperoleh melalui wawancara.Hasil : Responden PPOK yang memiliki kualitas hidup buruk sebesar 70%, sesak napas derajat 3 dengan kualitas hidup buruk sebesar 60%, PPOK derajat 3 dengan kualitas hidup buruk sebesar 45% dan frekuensi eksaserbasi ? 2 kali/ tahun dengan kualitas hidup buruk sebesar 67,5%.Kesimpulan : 70% responden PPOK di Poliklnik Paru RSUDZA Banda Aceh mengalami kualitas hidup buruk, 60% responden sesak napas derajat 3 memiliki kualitas hidup buruk, 45% responden derajat 3 PPOK memilki kualitas hidup buruk dan 67,5% responden dengan frekuensi eksaserbasi ? 2 kali/ tahun memiliki kualitas hidup buruk.Kata Kunci: Penyakit Paru Obstruktif Kronik (PPOK), derajat PPOK, skala sesak (mMRC scale), eksaserbasi, kualitas hidup, kuisioner SF-36.ABSTRACTBackground: In many COPD patients occur decline of lung function which caused activity limitations and consequently decreased the quality of life. The purpose of this research is to asses quality of life of COPD patients based on mMRC Scale, degree of COPD and exacerbation frequency.Methods: Design of this research is observational descriptive and subject under research is 40 patients with stable COPD. The period of this research is three months start from July 2013 until September 2013 held at Pulmonary Clinic of RSUDZA Banda Aceh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara umum kualitas responden berada pada kategori kurang,dengan jumlah 19 responden (57,6%). Ditinjau dari dimensi kesehatan fisik, kualitas hidup responden beradapada kategori kurang (75,8%). Ditinjau dari dimensi kesehatan psikologis, kualitas hidup responden beradapada kategori baik (51,5%). Ditinjau dari dimensi hubungan sosial, kualitas hidup responden berada padakategori baik (90,9%) dan dari dimensi lingkungan, kualitas hidup responden berada pada kategori kurang(57,6%). The aim of this study was to determine if supplementation of soybean oil in the ration in order to increase conjugated linoleic acid of meat has concurrent effects on carcass characteristics and qualities of thin-tailed sheep. Sheep were fed fermented ricestraws supplemented with 0, 3 and 6% soybean oil. The experimental design used was a Randomized Completely Block Design. Eighteen sheep with initial age of 6-8 months and initial bodyweight of 17.46 ± 1.61 kg were used. The treatments consisted of soybean oil supplementation 0, 3 and 6%. Variables measured were carcass conformation, GR thickness, backfat thickness, subcutaneous fat score, and kidney and pelvic fat score. Result showed that sheep fed ration with 0 % soybean oil produced carcass with carcass conformation score of 8.50 ± 1.05, GR thickness 11.50 ± 1.05 mm, back fat thickness 2.67 ± 0.82 mm, subcutaneus fat score 3.50 ± 0.55 mm, kidney and pelvic fat score 2.00 ± 0.00. Sheep feed ration with 3% soybean oil; carcass conformation score 8.67 ± 1.21, GR thickness 11.67 ± 1.21 mm, back fat thickness 2.83 ± 0.98 mm, subcutaneus fat score 3.50 ± 0.55, kidney and pelvic fat score 1.83 ± 0.4. Sheep feed ration with 6% soybean oil; carcass conformation score 9.00 ± 1.26, GR thickness 12.50 ± 1.52 mm, back fat thickness 3.33 ± 0.82 mm, subcutaneus fat score 3.50 ± 0.55, kidney and pelvic fat score 1.83 ± 0.41. In this research, the  composite board was prepared by mixing fined rice husk, recycledhigh density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic. Maleic Anhydride (MAH) was added ascompatibilizer. The objective of this research is to develop an alternative and a cheap technologyon fabrication of composite board by utilizing rice husk waste as filler and plastic from the type of recycled HDPE plastic as matrix. In order to improve the compactness of rice husk and recycled HDPE plastic thus the addition of MAH as compatibilizer is carried out. The research aspect learned is the MAH addition variation as much of 4% and 8% from HDPE plastic weight, and the mixing ratios of filler and matrix which are 30:70; 40:60; 50:50; 60:40; 70:30. Casting process of the homogonized solution was  carried out at casting temperature of 145oC for 20 minutes. The research result obtained indicates that the value of composite board density has fulfilled standard of SNI 03-2105-1996. The maximum water adsorbtion is obtained on composition of filler and matrixof 60:40 where with the addition of MAH 4% and 8% they are 10,1% and 6.9%, respectively. The addition of MAH as much of4% and 8% has resulted composite board with tensile strength value that has fulfilled SNI standard.
