Terkelupasnya selimut beton dan terjadinya tekuk lokal akibat beban aksial merupakan jenis kegagalan kolom dan dapat dicegah dengan penggunaan tulangan sengkang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat perilaku kolom beton bertulang yang dibebani tekan aksial dengan variasi jarak sengkang. Untuk menghemat biaya dalam penelitian di laboratorium, penggunaan program komputer menjadi alternatif. Program yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Response-2000 yang merupakan software open source. Penelitian eksperimental sudah dilakukan di Laboratorium Konstruksi dan Bahan Bangunan (LKBB) Fakultas Teknik Universitas Syiah Kuala oleh Saiful Hadi. Data benda uji yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diadopsi dari benda uji Saiful Hadi, berupa kolom beton bertulang dengan variasi jarak sengkang 10 cm (S0), 15 cm (S1), dan 20 cm (S2). Data benda uji tersebut dimasukkan ke Program Response-2000 yang kemudian hasil penelitiannya akan dibandingkan dengan hasil penelitian Saiful Hadi. Sebagian hasil penelitian ini juga dibandingkan dengan hasil perhitungan secara teori. Hasil kapasitas tekan aksial yang diperoleh dari Program Response-2000 untuk kolom S0 adalah 393,733 kN, kolom S1 sebesar 455,456 kN, dan kolom S2 sebesar 392,587 kN. Sedangkan hasil penelitian Saiful Hadi kapasitas tekan aksial kolom S0 adalah 388,574 kN, kolom S1 sebesar 407,900 kN dan kolom S2 sebesar 373,791. Namun demikian perbedaan hasil perhitungan teoritis dengan Response-2000 hanya 0,2 % sampai dengan 0,7% lebih tinggi hasil yang menggunakan program. Program Response-2000 memprediksi terjadi keruntuhan tekan pada seluruh benda uji, hal ini juga sesuai dengan fenomena yang terjadi pada penelitian di laboratorium oleh Saiful Hadi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Most Probable Number (MPN) yang terdiri dari tes perkiraan (Presumptive Test), tes penegasan (Confirmative Test) dan tes pelengkap (Completed Test). Sampel penelitian ini adalah daging burger dari 5 penjual burger kaki lima di Desa Kopelma Darussalam dan daging burger dari 5 restoran cepat saji di Banda Aceh dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode total sampling. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan tiga kali dengan interval waktu 1 minggu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada pengambilan pertama didapatkan cemaran E. coli pada 40% sampel daging burger penjual kaki lima dan 60% sampel daging burger restoran cepat saji. Pada pengambilan kedua diperoleh 100% sampel daging burger penjual kaki lima dan sampel daging burger restoran cepat saji tercemar E. coli. Pada pengambilan ketiga didapatkan 100% sampel daging burger penjual kaki lima dan 80% sampel daging burger restoran cepat saji tercemar E. coli. Hasil positif pada sampel yang diperoleh tidak memenuhi syarat berdasarkan Kepmenkes RI No. 1098/Menkes/SK/VII/2003. Dalam mencapai produktivitas padi di Indonesia, hama penyakit merupakan masalah yang sangat besar dan harus dimusnahkan. Cara yang dilakukan untuk mengendalikan hama dengan menyemprotkan pestisida, inteksida dan fungisida. Alat yang biasa digunakan untuk menyemprotkan pestisida, inteksida dan fungisida ada dua macam yaitu, semprot hama otomatis dan semprot hama semi otomatis. Alat semprot otomatis merupakan alat semprot yang memiliki tekanan udara tinggi, menghasilkan droplet yang halus dan baik digunakan untuk mengendalikan jamur, serangga, dan penyakit. Sedangkan alat semprot semi otomatis merupakan alat semprot yang memiliki tekanan udara yang rendah, menghasilkan droplet kasar dan baik digunakan untuk mengendalikan gulma. Suatu perencanaan sistem produksi semprot hama semi otomatis ini mengambil batasan terhadap tata letak peralatan produksi yang digunakan, spesifikasi peralatan yang digunakan dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan waktu produksi yang efektif dan biaya produksi yang minimum. Tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui berapa waktu produksi dan biaya produksi dalam perencanaan sistem produksi untuk mesin semprot hama semi otomatis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu melakukan tinjauan ke laboraturium desain dan manufaktur, kemudian akan dibuat suatu sistem produksi baru dimulai dari penyusunan layout produksi pemilihan peralatan produksi dan perhitungan waktu dan biaya produksi. Dari hasil penelitian ini maka didapat suatu kesimpulan bahwa layout produksi yang ditetapkan untuk proses produksi semprot hama semi otomatis ini yaitu jenis layout proses. Kapasitas produksi yang dapat dihasilkan dari mesin penghancur plastik ini 10-20 kg/jam.Dalam proses produksi mesin penghancur plastik ini perlu dipelajari beberapa proses sebagai acuan dalam hal perencanaan produksi mesin tersebut. Proses manufaktur merupakan proses pengubahan material menjadi suatu benda yang memiliki nilai ekonomi yang lebih tinggi dengan menggunakan satu atau lebih pemrosesan atau operasi perakitan. Dalam proses manufaktur juga melibatkan biaya produksi yang terdiri dari biaya material, tenaga kerja dan biaya overhead pabrik. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu membuat suatu sistem produksi dalam upaya meningkatkan kapasitas produksi dengan meminimalkan waktu produksi dan biaya produksi yang lebih murah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu melakukan tinjauan ke industri yang sudah ada kemudian akan dibuat satu sistem produksi terbaru dimulai dari penyusunan layout produksi pemilihan peralatan produksi dan perhitungan waktu dan biaya produksi. Dari hasil penelitian ini maka didapat satu kesimpulan bahwa layout produksi yang ditetapkan untuk proses produksi mesin Penghancur plastik ini yaitu jenis layout proses dengan alasan volume produksi mesin penghancur plastik yang rendah tetapi memiliki variasi komponen yang lebih tinggi.
