Dari informasi tersebut akan menarik untuk mengklasifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi masa studi mahasiswa berdasarkan karakteristik dan latar belakang pendidikan mahasiswa S1 FMIPA Unsyiah tersebut. Salah satu metode statistika yang sesuai untuk mengklasifikasi dapat digunakan metode CHAID (Chi-Squared Automatic Interaction Detection). Metode CHAID akan membagi data menjadi kelompok-kelompok yang lebih kecil berdasarkan keterkaitan antara peubah respon dengan peubah penjelas. Karakteristik dan latar belakang pendidikan tersebut antara lain adalah jenis kelamin, asal sekolah, jurusan, tingkat pendidikan pembimbing, Indek Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK), dan nilai sidang. Metode CHAID dapat menampilkan grafis struktur pohon berupa diagram yang menjelaskan hubungan antara peubah respon kategorik dengan peubah penjelas kategorik sehingga mudah untuk diinterpretasikan. Uji yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan diagram pohon adalah uji Chi-square dan koreksi Bonferroni. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan data lulusan S1 FMIPA Unsyiah yang lulus pada bulan Januari 2007 sampai dengan Agustus 2014. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor dan karakteristik yang diduga mempengaruhi masa studi mahasiswa S1 FMIPA Unsyiah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis metode CHAID menghasilkan faktor-faktor yang signifikan yang mempengaruhi masa studi mahasiswa adalah IPK, tingkat pendidikan pembimbing, nilai sidang, jenis kelamin, dan jurusan. Metode CHAID menyebutkan bahwa karakteristik kategori mahasiswa yang masa studi cepat sama dengan masa studi sedang, yaitu mahasiswa dengan IPK sangat memuaskan atau cumlaude, mendapat nilai sidang A, dan berjenis kelamin perempuan. Sedangkan karakteristik kategori mahasiswa yang masa studi lama adalah mahasiswa yang IPK memuaskan dengan tingkat pendidikan pembimbing skripsinya doktor. Dalam hal akurasi klasifikasi, persentase keakuratan model mengklasifikasikan masa studi secara tepat sebesar 61,4%. In this research, each host (Brontispa longissima pupa) was exposed for different frequencies, i.e., 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 times for female parasitoid.  The result showed that the rate of superparasitism affected the number of progeny emergence, the developmental time of immature progeny, and sex ratio of progeny. The number of progeny emergence was increased as the increase of  superparasitism rate. The number of progeny emergence from single oviposition host was 15, while from host exposed on female parasitoid for 3, 5, 7, and 9 times were 12, 5, 2 and 0, respectively. The developmental time of immature progeny was lengthened as the increase of superparasitism rate. Sex ratio of progeny was biased to female progeny as the increase of rate of superparasitism. The result of this research indicated that superparasitism gave negative effect on development of T. brontispae progeny.
