                <text>The main problem castor plantation (Jatropha curcas L.) is a pest Macrotermes gilvus result in lower production in terms of both quality and quantity. The research was conducted in August 2010. This research aims to study the pest M. gilvus to castor plantation in KIJP Pakuwon. The intensity of the attack M. gilvus in castor plantation  in Block I (33%), Block II (27%) and Block III (15%), and if not immediately controlled can cause economic losses.</text>

                <text>ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to find out to test whether the implementation of good governance affects the quality of care in Banda Aceh STO. In this study researchers determine the total sample of 100 people with consideration of limited time, money and effort. The sampling technique used in this study is simple random sampling is a sampling technique that sample probabililty that provide equal opportunity for every element (member) population.The results showed that the implementation of good governance has been applied to both the Tax Office Primary Banda Aceh. Good governance is partially significant effect on the quality of public services in the Office of Tax pelayananan Primary Banda Aceh. Good governance can influence the quality of public services Pratama Tax Office in Banda Aceh by 30.4 percent and the remaining 69.6 percent is influenced by other variables outside the model of this research.Models are expected to further research instrument used in data collection using a more diverse alternatives statement on each variable so that the results are more accurate.Keywords: Good Governance Impact on the Quality of CareABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menguji apakah penerapan good governance berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pelayanan pada KPP Pratama Banda Aceh. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menetapkan besarnya jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 orang dengan pertimbangan terbatasnya waktu, dana dan tenaga. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah simple random sampling yang merupakan teknik probabililty sampling yaitu pengambilan sampel yang memberikan peluang yang sama bagi setiap unsur (anggota) populasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi good governance telah diterapkan dengan baik pada Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Banda Aceh. Good governance  secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik pada Kantor Pelayananan Pajak Pratama Banda Aceh. Good governance mampu mempengaruhi kualitas pelayanan publik Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Banda Aceh sebesar 30,4 persen dan sisanya sebesar 69,6 persen di pengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya di luar model penilitian ini.Untuk penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan model instrument yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan alternatif pernyataan yang lebih beragam pada setiap variabel sehingga hasil yang didapat lebih akurat.Kata Kunci:  Good Governance Berpengaruh Terhadap Kualitas Pelayanan</text>

                <text>The objectivees of this research were; to acquered of vegetation in Banda Aceh beach after tsunami, to find expression about of composition, association, species diversity index (H’), similarity index (IS), and species distribution pattern.The stage of research were; observation and segmentation of study area. The size of study area is 420 ha, and sample area is 10% of population. The station of sampling is (a). Meulaboh District Beach (MDB), (b). Aceh Jaya District Beach (AJDB), and Lhoknga District Beach (LDB). For each of sampling location a given ten sampling quadrat with five replication. total sample are 50 quadrats. The observated variable is number of  spec                ies, absolute diversity, absolute frequency, and absolute dominance. The calculated of importance value used formula is DR + FR + DMR., and calculated of species diversity index with Shannon-Wiener formula. The category of species diversity index is; if H’&amp;lt;1 very low category, H’&amp;gt;1-2 low category, H’&amp;gt;2-3 median category, and H’&amp;gt;3-4 high category.The result of this research are; (a). The vegetation physiognomy in Meulaboh District Beach, (b).Aceh Jaya District Beach, and Lhoknga District Beach were fundamental changed after tsunami, (c). The planting of mangrove species in Aceh West Beach didn’t resulted yet optimalization, (d). Dominance of tree in Aceh West Beach were Casuarina equisetifolia, and Cocos nucifera, dominance of underbrush were Calatropis gigantea, and Vernonia cinerea, and dominance of herbs species were Ipomoea pescaprae, and Chloris barbata (5). The moment effort is necessary for serious reclamation in Aceh West Beach after tsunami specific.</text>

                <text>Kemampuan seorang kepala sekolah dalam memimpin akan sangat berpengaruh dalam   meningkatkan   motivasi   kerja   guru.   Kompetensi   profesional   guru merupakan suatu strategi untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya-upaya yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah  dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru pada Madrasah Ruhul Islam Anak Bangsa (MA-RIAB). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah Kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah dan guru di Madrasah Ruhul Islam Anak Bangsa (RIAB). Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan  kepala  sekolah  telah  membuat  program  perencanaan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru. Program peningkatan kompetensi   profesional   guru   yaitu   memberikan   izin   kepada   guru   untuk melanjutkan kuliah, mengadakan pelatihan menyediakan bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan kurikulum yang berlaku. Pelaksanaan program peningkatan kompetensi profesional  guru  dengan  cara  mewajibkan  setiap  guru  bidang  studi  untuk membuat perangkat pembelajaran sesuai dengan kurikulum yang terbaru, menyesuaikan perkembangan buku pegangan guru bidang studi, membuat jadwal supervisi. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh kepala sekolah dalam pelaksanaan pelaksanaan peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru guru tidak berani mengemukakan keinginan serta kekurangannya dalam pembelajaran.                 <text>Tea is the most consumed beverage after water and touted as a beverage rich in benefits. In addition to the benefits of tea, there are also substances contained in tea that result in less good for the body, the substance is caffeine. Amount of caffeine depending on the spesies, processing and brewing method. The research "Influence of Weight and Time Brewing on the Tea Caffeine " has been done since May to September 2012 at the Laboratory of Chemical FMIPA Unsyiah. The purpose of the research were to know the weight and time brewing on tea caffeine, and to know the weight and length of the maximum brewingon tea caffeine. The method used experimental design with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) 3 x 3 factorial pattern with three times replication. Two factors examined were heavy tea and tea brewing time. The weight was three level (tea weight 1 g, 2 g, and 3 g) and length of brewing also consists of three level (3 minutes, 6 minutes, and 9 minutes). Data was analyzed by ANOVA test followed by Duncan test. The results show that heavy tea was significant effect on the rate of caffeine, while time brewing was not significant. Similarly, the interaction between heavy with tea brewing time was not significant. The maximum weight and length of brewing were 3 grams and 9 minutes, which is 29,3214 mg (w/w).</text>

Kurangnya minat belajar siswa di karenakan metode pembelajaran yang monoton.  Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa yaitu melalui penerapan PAIKEM dengan menggunakan metode penemuan. penerapan PAIKEM dengan menggunakan metode penemuan merupakan metode pembelajaran yang menuntut guru lebih kreatif menciptakan situasi yang dapat membuat peserta didik belajar aktif meneukan pengetahuan sendiri. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus pertama ke siklus kedua, untuk mengetahui aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam penerapan PAIKEM dengan metode penemuan, untuk mengetahui keterampilan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran dan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penerapan PAIKEM dengan metode penemuan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-3 SMP Negeri 1 Banda Aceh yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar soal, lembar pengamatan aktivitas guru dan siswa, lembar pengamatan keterampilan guru dalam mengelola  pembelajaran dan angket respon siswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar melalui penerapan PAIKEM dengan metode penemuan. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian terhadap penerapan PAIKEM dengan metode penemuan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, hal ini terlihat dari persentase ketuntasan individual terjadi peningkatan dari siklus pertama 69,23 persen dan siklus kedua 92,30 persen, persentase ketuntasan klasikal juga terjadi peningkatan dari  siklus pertama 70 persen dan kedua 90 persen, aktivitas guru dan siswa mencerminkan penerapan PAIKEM dengan metode penemuan, hal ini terlihat pada aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam memberi kesempatan kepada siswa untuk mengemukakan atau mempresentasikan pendapat ke depan kelas, kemudian siswa mempresentasikan hasil pendapat yang telah ditulis ke depan kelas, keterampilan guru dalam penerapan PAIKEM dengan metode penemuan meningkat dari katagori sedang menjadi sangat baik dan respon siswa terhadap penerapan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode kasus adalah 96 persen dari 26 siswa berpendapat bahwa pembelajaran melalui penerapan PAIKEM dengan metode penemuan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap materi kegiatan ekonomi masyarakat. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses pembelajaran terhadap materi kegiatan ekonomi masyarakat pada mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa setelah menerapkan PAIKEM dengan metode penemuan.</text>

                <text>The aim of this study is to determine the impact of lecture model of Genetics towards students’ metacognition skills based on class category, basic academic skill, and types of subjects. This study was conducted at FMIPA Biology department of UM involving students in education class and non-education class for 2 semester. The instruments used in the research were observation sheets of Genetics lecture, metacognition awareness inventory (MAI), and documents of observation sheet. Anakova with Least Significant Difference (LSD) was used to analyse the data. The result showed that the steps in the lecture model of Genetics comprising instucting reading assessment related to lecture material, composing summary of reading material, setting questions and the answers, and having presentation and discussion. Project-based practical work and classic practical work were used in practical work assessment. Evaluation tools was used based on average score of paper and pencil test and alternative assessment. Students’ metacognition skills were not influenced by class factor (education and non-education, basic academic skill [high or low], and types of Genetics subjects [Genetics I and Genetics II). </text>

                <text>Lightning is an event of release charge the inside or outside clouds. Lightning occurs because of existence a convective cloud i.e. Cumulus Nimbus (Cb). These clouds have a positive and negative charge. The positive charge in upper of clouds and the negative charge in bottom the clouds. These clouds can also make the rain. Usually lightning occurs when the rain happens. However, sometimes lightning occurs but the rain not happens. This studies aims to know relation of the pattern of the lightning related the rainfall in Aceh besar regency. Data were obtained from station of geophysics and meteorology in Aceh Besar area. The data are number of lightning strikes and rainfall (&gt;50 mm) as long as 3rd years (2009 to 2011). It processed with Microsoft excel code. Data analysis is an according to the rain pattern in Aceh Besar area i.e. December-January-February (DJF), March-April-May (MAM), June-July-August (JJA) and September-October-November (SON). The results show the linear relation between lightning and rain with RMS 0,9 for each pattern data. So that, we can conclude that the pattern of lightning in Aceh Besar follow the pattern of rain in that area.Keywords : Lightning, Convective Clouds, Rainfall</text>
