Catches especially during the harvest tends to be sold by the fishermen to other areas due to lack of knowledge of post-harvest handling. One of the post-harvest processing is the preservation of a cooling system is usually done with the use of cold storage box (cold box) at the Fish Landing Places (TPI). This study aims to get the length of storage time of fish that can maintain a temperature of 0°C to 5°C, by using the 3 kinds of cold storage box is made of wood material, fiber and styrofoam. From the results of testing two methods: the method of fish in the middle of the ice around it and the traditional methods used by the community found that containers with wood coated styrofoam insulation to maintain temperature of 2°C, while the  isolation box storage timber, fiber and styrofoam fish temperature exceeds 2.5°C. Salah satu jenis kontrasepsi adalah Alat Kontrasepsi Dalam Rahim (AKDR). IUD merupakan suatu alat yang terbuat dari plastik ataupun logam dengan berbagai macam bentuk yang dimasukkan ke dalam rahim/ uterus yang berguna untuk terjadinya pembuahan. Tingkat penggunaan AKDR sangat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, diantaranya faktor pengetahuan pasangan suami istri terhadap AKDR, sikap, dukungan, umur, pendidikan, pendapatan, dan fasilitas Keluarga Berencana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan dukungan suami terhadap penggunaan AKDR di Desa Lambaro Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Observasional yang bersifat analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Lambaro Kabupaten Aceh Besar dari bulan Mei 2013 sampai dengan April 2014. Jumlah sampel 77 suami dari istri yang menggunakan alat kontrasepsi yaitu, 33 suami yang istrinya menggunakan AKDR dan 44 suami yang istri menggunakan alat kontrasepsi selain AKDR. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Analisa data untuk melihat pengetahuan dan tingkat pendidikan suami dengan dukungan penggunaan AKDR menggunakan Uji Chi square. Hasil uji Chi square pengetahuan suami dengan dukungan penggunaan AKDR didapatkan p value 0,004 dan tingkat pendidikan suami dengan dukungan p value 0,05 pada CI 95%, ? 0,05. Kesimpulan penelitian ini terdapat hubungan pengetahuan dan tingkat pendidikan suami dengan dukungan penggunaan AKDR di Desa Lambaro Kabupaten Aceh Besar.Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan suami, tingkat pendidikan suami, dukungan suami, AKDR. There are two aspects become the main consideration; the maximum crack peak angle opening for the given load and space, and the determination of the critical stress intensity factor to search at what degree of loading the crack on the gas transmission pipe experiencing creep or failure. This research uses arc-shaped tension specimen and the analysis is carried out by finite element method using ansys ™ rel 5.4. In order to get the stress intensity factor, the loading is varied from 1 KN to 160 KN. Based on finite element method, the maximum stress intensity factor occurs at the range of loading of 16-160 KN, which is 5.67 x 1016 MPa.m1/2, and the minimum factor occurs at the range of loading of 0.5-1 KN, which is 3.76 MPa.m1/2. The stress intensity factor result is also validated with the analytical result. The maximum crack peak angle opening occurs at the range of loading of 16-160 KN which is 250, the stage that is able to cause pipe failure. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menginterview responden yang diperoleh melalui metodo sampling sederhana dengan alat koesioner, observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Furnace is important utility in producing a product. Available furnaces in the market are very costly and difficult to obtain due to be imported from abroad. Responding these issues, in this study is designed and developed a furnace that is simple, easy to manufacture, portable and most importantly the price is low so that it is affordable for industrial-scale domestic foundry industry. The furnace is heated with LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) as the gas is economical and obtainable. Refractory stones are used as a heat insulator to increase the temperature in the combustion chamber to reach 1,000 oC. The heat can be set via the setting of gas that goes into the combustion chamber so that it can be adapted for different types of material with a melting temperature below 1,000 oC. The type of metal melted in this research is aluminum. The test results showed that the furnace is able to melt 0.39 kg of aluminum in 30.15 minutes.
