Kecemasan dan depresi yang dirasakan dalam jangka waktu yang lama dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup pasien tuberkulosis paru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kecemasan dan depresi dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien tuberkulosis paru di Balai Kesehatan Paru Masyarakat Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional study dan metode pengumpulan data purposive sampling terhadap 58 responden. Alat pengumpul data berupa kuesioner yang terdiri dari 40 item pernyataan berbentuk skala likert dengan skala ukur ordinal. Metode analisis data dengan menggunakan uji statistik chi-square hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara kecemasan dan depresi (P-value 0,474) dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien tuberkulosis paru di Balai Kesehatan Paru Masyarakat Banda Aceh. Diharapkan kepada Balai Kesehatan Paru Masyarakat adalah membuat kebijakan untuk mengurangi kecemasan dan depresi yang dialami oleh setiap pasien, sedangkan untuk perawat adalah selalu memberikan support untuk mengurangi kecemasan dan depresi, yang akhirnya bisa memperbaiki kualitas hidup pada pasien tuberkulosis paru. Desain penelitian bersifat quasi eksperiment dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling yaitu 25 responden. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa kuesioner dengan metode angket. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji dependent t-test. Hasil penelitian didapatkan ada perbedaan yang signifikan pengetahuan perawat tentang MTBS pneumonia sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan dengan mean pada pretest 38,68 dan posttest 40,84 (p = 0,000); penilaian dan klasifikasi anak sakit pneumonia sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan dengan mean pada pretest 10,16 dan posttest 10,64 (p = 0,003); pengobatan anak sakit pneumonia sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan dengan mean pada pretest 9,2 dan posttest 9,92 (p = 0,000); konseling bagi ibu anak sakit pneumonia sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan dengan mean pada pretest 9,68 dan pada posttest 10,12 (p = 0,002) dan pelayanan tindak lanjut anak sakit pneumonia sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan dengan mean pada pretest 9,64 dan pada posttest 10,16 (p = 0,001).
