Namun hal itu membutuhkan konsumsi energi yang besar, maka penerapan sistem komunikasi kooperatif sangatlah tepat untuk meningkatkan kinerja jaringan transmisi. Sistem komunikasi kooperatif adalah sistem yang memanfaatkan user lain sebagai relay, dimana relay berfungsi untuk memperbaiki kinerja jaringan transmisi serta dapat menghemat konsumsi energi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan membuat model simulasi numerik efisiensi energi dengan empat model jaringan yaitu, jaringan tanpa relay, 1 relay, 2 relay dan 3 relay untuk transmisi video dan data. Simulasi numerik yang dilakukan adalah menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan relay terhadap konsumsi energi, pengaruh Signal Noise to Ratio (SNR) dan Contention Window (CW) terhadap throughput, serta pengaruh SNR dan Eb/No terhadap kinerja Bit Error Rate (BER). Hasil simulasi yang diperoleh pada transmisi video dan data adalah semakin banyak relay yang digunakan maka semakin sedikit konsumsi energi yang dibutuhkan, sehingga nilai efisiensi energi yang diperoleh semakin besar. Meningkatnya nilai SNR pada transmisi video dapat memperbesar nilai throughput dan meningkatnya nilai CW pada transmisi data dapat memperkecil nilai throughput yang dihasilkan. Sementara untuk transmisi video dan data, semakin besar nilai SNR dan Eb/No dapat memperkecil nilai BER yang diperoleh. Selain itu, sistem transmisi video memiliki efisiensi energi yang lebih besar jika dibandingkan dengan sistem transmisi data. Drying is one of the most important process in producing a good quality of rosella tea. The study was aimed to evaluate the drying efficiency of rosella tea by using a cabinet dryer. The source of energy for the dryer was from the burning of charcoal. The charcoal was prepared from the coconut shell since it was abundant biomass product. About 7.5 kg of fresh rosella flower was dried for 17 hours. The total of charcoal consumed was 17 kg. The moisture content of rosella flower was reduced from 90 to 12 %. The analysis showed that the total of energy produced from the burning of 17 kg charcoal was 309.4 MJ, whilst the total energy needed to dry the flower was 15,72 MJ. Therefore, the drying efficiency was still low about 4.58%. Kabupaten Aceh Tengah atau lebih tepatnya lagi Kota Takengon merupakan salah satu kota gambaran Indonesia yaitu negara agraris, di mana sebagian besar hasil produksi dari kota ini berasal dari pertanian. Hal ini terjadi dikarenakan Takengon mempunyai letak geografis yang terletak di dataran tinggi sehingga baik cuaca maupun iklimnya sangat mendukung kegiatan pertanian yang ada di kota ini, dan budidaya hortikultura pun dapat berkembang dengan baik. Dengan mengetahui kriteria buah unggulan daerah dan prospek pasar yang terbuka lebar, seharusnya masyarakat dapat lebih mengembangkan usahatani ini secara intensif. Adapun sentra produksi jeruk keprok gayo di Provinsi Aceh terletak di Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Aceh Tengah di Kecamatan Kebayakan dan Bebesen. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara sengaja dengan pertimbangan bahwa daerah tersebut sebagai daerah sentral produksi jeruk keprok gayo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi serta efisiensi penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi usahatani jeruk keprok gayo. Adapun metode analisis yang digunakan adalah fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas. Hasil analisis fungsi produksi menunjukkan bahwa secara teknis faktor produksi tenaga kerja, pupuk kandang dan herbisida memberi pengaruh yang signifikan terhadapjeruk keprok gayo . Hasil penelitian diolah dengan SPSS versi.15 menunjukkan bahwa faktortenaga kerja dan modal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efisiensiproduksi. Dilihat pula dari analisis efesiensi ekonomi diketahui bahwa produksikedelai di kecamatan Peudada Kabupaten Bireuen belum efisien. Berdasarkan hasilpenelitian diharapkan petani kedelai memberi perhatian khusus pada faktor tenagakerja dan modal. Secara parsial variabel tenaga kerja dan modal berpengaruh positifdan signifikan. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan nilai uji-t variabel yang lebih besar darit-tabel (t-test > t-tabel). Sedangkan secara simultan variabel modal dan tenaga kerjamempengaruhi produksi. Adapun data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Cobb Douglas dan di tranformasikan ke dalam model regresi linear berganda (multiple regression), yang diestimasi dengan metode ordinary least square (OLS). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel modal dan lahan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan, sedangkan variabel tenaga kerja berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan. Penggunaan faktor lahan, dan modal belum efisien karena nilai lebih besar dari 1 begitu juga dengan variabel tenaga kerja belum efisien karena nilainya lebih kecil dari 1. Analisa efisiensi teknik, harga, dan ekonomi lebih besar dari 1 sehingga belum dapat dikatakan efisiensi terhadap produksi kelapa sawit di Kecamatan Gunung Meriah Kabupaten Aceh Singkil. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi kedelai dan untuk mengetahui efisiensi penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi pada usahatani kedelai. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Darul Ihsan Kabupaten Aceh Timur dengan menggunakan metode survei. Data dianalisis dengan metode analisis regresi berganda dengan pendekatan fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas dan NPM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Secara serempak variabel luas lahan, benih, pupuk dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi, namun secara parsial hanya benih yang berpengaruh nyata, sedangkan luas lahan, pupuk, dan tenaga kerja tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi kedelai. The low productivity of soybean currently caused by the lack of farmer ability to manage the factors of production. The aim of research are to find out the factors affecting soybean production and efficient use of factors of production in soybean farm.The research was held at Darul Ihsan district in Aceh Timur using survey method. Data were analyzed with multiple regression analysis using the production function approach Cobb-Douglas and NPM. The result showed that : (1) Simultaneously variable of land area, seed, fertilizer and labor significantly affect production. However partially only seed significantly affect, while land area, fertilizer and labor did not significantly affect soybean production. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Field Lab, Jurusan Peternakan, Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh tanggal 30 Mei-6 Juni 2013. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 96 ekor DOC broiler, strain CP, produksi PT. Charoen Pokphand Jaya Farm, Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL), terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicobakan adalah penambahan tepung daun indigofera sebanyak 0.0, 0.5, 1,0 dan 1,5 % ke dalam ransum komersil yang disubstitusi dengan 10% bahan pakan fermentasi ditambah 0,5% probiotik. Parameter yang diamati terdiri dari produksi ayam broiler (berat badan akhir dan konsumsi ransum), ekonomis pemeliharaan ayam broiler (income over feed cost dan income), dan kelayakan usaha (B/C dan R/C ratio). Data produksi dianalisis dengan Analysis of variance (ANOVA), jika terdapat perbedaan yang nyata, maka dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan (Steel dan Torrie, 1993). Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa penggunaan tepung daun indigofera di dalam ransum komersil dengan substitusi 10% bahan pakan fermentasi ditambah 0,5% probiotik tidak nyata (P>0.05) menurunkan berat badan akhir dan total konsumsi ransum ayam broiler selama lima minggu pemeliharaan. Penggunaan tepung tersebut menurunkan harga ransum, namun biaya variabel pemeliharaan ayam broiler hanya dapat ditekan pada penggunaan 0,5% tepung daun indigofera, juga menurunkan income over feed cost (IOFC) dan total income. Secara ekonomis, pemberian tepung daun indigofera dalam substitusi 10% bahan pakan fermentasi ditambah 0,5% probiotik masih layak dan menguntungkan digunakan dalam pemeliharaan ayam broiler. Kata kunci : Indigofera, ayam broiler, IOFC, incomeEconomic Analysis of Raising Broiler Chickens Fed Balanced Diet Substituted by 10% Fermentation Feed and 0.5% Probiotik Supplementation and Adding Different Level of Indigofera Leaf Meal Rahmad AljuardiNIM. 0905104010025ABSTRACT The aim of present study was to analyze economical efficiency of raising broiler chickens fed on balanced diet substituted by 10% fermented feed and 0.5% probiotik supplementation and adding different level of indigofera leaf meal. The study was conducted in Field Laboratory, Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh, from May 30 until June 6, 2013. Materials used in this study were 96 day old chicks of broiler chickens; strain CP, produced by PT. Charoen Pokphand Jaya Farm, Medan. The study was designed into completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 4 replications. Each replication was experimental unit comprising of 6 chicks. The treatments were adding indigofera leaf meal with the levels of 0.0, 0.5, 1,0 and 1,5%, respectively into balanced diet substituted by 10% fermentation feed and 0,5% probiotik supplementation. Parameters examined were broiler production (final body weight and feed consumption), income (income over feed cost and total income), and raising economic benefit (B/C and R/C ratio). Data of production was analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued by Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) if the differences among treatments were detected (Steel and Torrie, 1993). The results of study showed that supplementing of indigofera leaf meal in the balanced diet substituted by 10% fermentation feed and 0.5% probiotik supplementation did not significantly (P>0.05) affect on final body weight and feed consumption of broiler chickens. Supplementing indigofera leaf meal reduced feed price, but variable cost declined at the level of not more than 0.5% of that meal. However, supplementing of indigofera reduced income over feed cost (IOFC) and total income. In conclusion, supplementing indigofera leaf meal still met to economical advantages (B/C>1 and R/C>0). Perlakuan yang dicobakan adalah penambahan tepung daun indigofera sebanyak 0.0, 0.5, 1,0 dan 1,5 % ke dalam ransum komersil yang disubstitusi dengan 10% bahan pakan fermentasi ditambah 0,5% probiotic. Parameter yang diamati terdiri dari produksi ayam broiler (berat badan akhir dan konsumsi ransum), ekonomis pemeliharaan ayam broiler (income over feed costdan income), dan kelayakan usaha (B/C dan R/C ratio). Data produksi dianalisis dengan Analysis of variance (ANOVA), jika terdapat perberdaan yang nyata, maka dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan (Steel dan Torrie, 1993).
