The methodology applied was ethnographic using a questionnaire to obtain data. A number of 14 respondents who varied across ages, educational background and occupations participated in this study. These respondents included three housewives, two university students, one fresh graduate, one junior high school and two senior high school students, one trader, two senior citizens, one teacher and one civil servant. Based on the findings, the attitude nowadays of the Acehnese has changed radically. Out of eight adults, only three were actively using proverbs in their daily lives and teaching their children those proverbs. All of the young people, who ranged from fourteen to twenty three years old, did not use proverbs. In relation to education, proverbs are used to teach the society about courtesy, advices (e.g. for choosing companions and friends in life, child rearing, socializing/conversing, and not to mind other people’s business), and shyness as part of faith. Furthermore, a significant language shift has occurred in Aceh which has impacted Acehnese oral literature whereby more parents today prefer Indonesian to be taught as their children’s first language (Alamsyah, et al., 2011). Hipotesis penelitian yaitu terdapat hubungan antara kesepian dengan kecenderungan kecanduan internet pada mahasiswa Unsyiah. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif S1 Unsyiah, berusia 20-25 tahun (masa dewasa awal) dengan menggunakan teknik random stratified sampling proportional. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 377 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala kesepian yang diadaptasi dari skala kesepian University California of Los Angeles Loneliness Scale-Ver 3 Russell (1996) dan skala kecanduan internet yang diadaptasi dari skala kecanduan internet Internet Addiction Scale Young (1998). It also inquires into how these teachers of English overcame their shortcomings in oral English language teaching. 45 non native English teachers from Aceh were recorded. They came from four regions in the province of Aceh, namely Aceh Timur, Langsa, Aceh Utara and Aceh Besar. The participants have taught English from five to 15 years. The approach used in this paper is qualitative by focusing on the method of lexical stress analysis suggested by Crystal (1969), Halliday (1970) and McCawley (1986).  The study reveals that variations of lexical stresses were produced by the teachers with 13-15 years of teaching experience.  Those from Langsa and Aceh Timur produced the most varied stresses. Therefore, it is suggested for future research to conduct a more in-depth study on this topic with a wider sample of participants and more target words. It is also proposed that possible socio-phonological language inferences in the production of English stress by EFL teachers should be explored. Iqbal Description An account of the resource ABSTRAKPotensi aspal batu buton (Asbuton) yang melimpah di pulau buton Sulawesi tenggara adalah aspal alam terbanyak di dunia dan diperkirakan sekitar 667 juta ton. Penggunaan asbuton dapat menghemat keterbatasan aspal minyak di Indonesia. Masalah kelangkaan aspal minyak di Indonesia menyebabkan terhambatnya penyelesaian proyek-proyek jalan, oleh karena itu maka diperlukan suatu penelitian untuk mengolah asbuton supaya dapat menjadi bahan subtitusi pada aspal. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat nilai Parameter Marshall yang dihasilkan oleh campuran beton aspal AC-WC dengan menggunakan subtitusi asbuton butir 20/25 yaitu penambahan 0%, 5%, 6% asbuton butir 20/25 pada campuran aspal pen 60/70 setelah penyesuaian gradasi sehingga sesuai dengan spesifikasi teknis untuk campuran aspal beton AC-WC, kemudian dapat diketahui jenis campuran beton aspal yang mempunyai kualitas terbaik dari variasi tersebut. Prosedur penelitian mengacu pada Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) dan metode standar lainnya seperti American Association of State Highway and Transportation Official (AASHTO). Manfaat dari penelitian untuk mengetahui apakah asbuton butir 20/25 dapat dijadikan alternatif bahan campuran aspal pen 60/70. Gradasi yang digunakan berupa gradasi menerus dengan jumlah fraksi agregat kasar sebanyak 54%, fraksi agregat halus 38%, filler 8% dan dibuat benda uji dengan tiga variasi persentase asbuton butir sebesar 0%; 5% dan 6%. Langkah awal pengujian dimulai dengan pemeriksaan sifat-sifat fisis bahan, kemudian perencanaan campuran benda uji, pembuatan benda uji untuk menentukan kadar aspal optimum (KAO) dengan variasi kadar aspal 5,0%; 5,5%; 6,0%; 6,5%; dan 7,0%; perhitungan dan pengujian Marshall, evaluasi parameter Marshall, pengujian Marshall rendaman 24 jam, dan terakhir perhitungan parameter Marshall. Setiap variasi kadar aspal masing-masing dibuat 3 buah benda uji untuk mendapatkan kadar aspal optimum untuk masing-masing variasi persentase asbuton butir 20/25. Nilai KAO yang didapat meningkat dengan semakin banyaknya persentase asbuton butir 20/25 yang ditambahkan dalam campuran yaitu sebesar 6,06% pada persentase asbuton butir 0%; 6,42% pada persentase asbuton butir 5% dan 6,55% pada persentase asbuton butir 6%. Pada evaluasi parameter Marshal, hasil yang diperoleh dari ketiga variasi persentase asbuton butir 20/25 masih memenuhi semua spesifikasi yang disyaratkan.
