<text>Response of Soybean Cultivars Kipas Putih and Wilis to Soil Moistureon Growth and YieldABSTRACT. The research has been made to explain relationship between soil moisture and the growth and yield of soya bean variety Willis and Kipas Putih. Block randomized design with factor type 2x4 and three repetition has use to analize the effect of soil moisture on those variety. The parameter use in this research were hight of the plan, plan growing rate, number of pod, length of the root, drying biomassa, and dry seed per plan. The research result showed that variety have very significant difference on high of plan 45 days after planting and dry biomassa per plan , have significant difference on growing rate after 45 after planting, number of pod, and has unsignificant difference on high of the plan 14 and 28 after planting, growing rate 28 and 56 days after planting, number of pods, length of the root, and dry seed per plan. Variety willis gives better grow and yield than Kipas Putih. Soil moisture has very significant differency on high of the plan 14 and 28 after planting and growing rate 28,45,56 after planting, number of regume per plan, number of filling pods per plan, length of the root, and weight of dry seed per plan. Field capacity level of soil moisture gives growth and yield better than others. Relationship between variety and soil moisture is very significant on hight of the plan 45 days after planting, growth and yield the best showed by variety Willis and field capacity level of soil moisture.</text>

<text>Abstract. Karang Makassar is known as Manta point which is located in the Komodo National Park, Indonesia. This location is one of the habitat for manta ray. This research was conducted to find out the relationship between the appereance of manta ray with lunar pattern and tidal cycle. Observation data was collected from September to October 2012. Photo ID method was used to assess the number of manta ray appeareance. Lunar pattern data was obtained from USNO NAVY database, and tidal cycle was obtained from WX Tide Prediction Server. The result shows that from 20 dives, the highest average number of manta rays appearance was during full moon by 9,8 individual per dive. Meanwhile, during half moon and new moon were only 3 individual appearances per dive. On the other hand, based on tidal cycle, the highest manta rays appeareance was found during rising by 6,5 individual per dive, on falling by 4,4 individual per dive, and the lowest on slack by 3,4 individual per dive. We suggest that the best time for seeing manta rays in this location is during full moon and raising time.  Keywords: Manta rays; Lunar patterns; Tidal cycle; National Komodo Park  Abstrak. Perairan Karang Makassar, dikenal sebagai Manta Point yang berada di Taman Nasional (T.N.) Komodo, Indonesia.

This research discussed about the affixes in Arabic, the functions of the affixes, and the meaning which is generated by it. The writer conducted library research method to analyze and to conclude the aim of the researcher. Finally, the writer found that derivational affixes in Arabic are called al-ahrufaz-zaidah. Then, to form Arabic words using derivational affixes always involves vocalism depends on original letters of words, vocalism, and expected meaning. The writer also found that function of derivational affixes in Arabic is to derive any roots into the expected words and change its lexical identity. Later, these derivational affixes can be used to change the root which is transfixed into the past tense verb (v) to be a noun (n) and also the past tense verb (v) to be an adjective (adj.). Finally, the writer suggested next research of this term can be much better and make deeper analysis for better output and expectation.</text>

<text>Characteristics of the Location and Recharge Pattern: Data, Analysis and ResponseABSTRACT. Infiltration as a movement of water could determine a large amount of water which could move over the soil surface to the river, and the water that went into the ground. The information of water infiltration in watershed was required to make decision about sustainable water resources. On the other hand, the infiltration was dynamic, that was why it was interesting to be analyzed. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in volume that occurred in the watershed catchment of Krueng Peusangan. Having viewed the differences and similarities location against variabel temperature, evapotranspiration, moisture, discharge, rainfall for the fivepoint, watershed locations of Krueng Peusangan using Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Based on PCA, the location was selected to analyze the volume of leach discharge measured during 2008-2011 in Wih Nareh and Kr. Teumbo. Absorption volume indicated that occurred instable infiltration at Kr. Teumbo. It needed guidelines for land use arrangement and forest function, especially in the recharge area. So, it could maintain the balance of hydrological cycle, groundwater quantity and quality properly.  </text>

<text>Peat Soil Water Intrusion Pattern in the Seepage Tank Model Was Given Drainase Porous ConduitsABSTRACT. Spread peat affected by tidal sea water have in some areas so as to overcome the pool or on the development of an area needs to be given some form of drainage holes in the side walls. The function of the hole in the wall of this channel will be capable of storing water through a hole in to the wall of the channel and dumped back at sea level began to recede. Drainage channel designed an open drainage channel porous trapezoidal shape. The pores are used to store the water into the soil through the hole so it can retain moisture in peat. The aim study is to determine the pattern of ground water seepage on peatland pore into the channel or leave the water seepage discharge channels and to know in order to support the reduction in peat puddles. Pores formed in the drainage channel can retain moisture and ground water due to peat during incoming tide in the channel partially soak into the ground through the pore channels with a trend toward the seepage pattern and left channels respectively y = -0.0061 x2 + 0.3066 x + 4.105 and y= 0.9579 e0,0925x water seepage discharge calculation using Darcy’s law into the soil when the water toward the channel to the first pair with length of time of 12 hours was 22.663. 10-3 cm3/det and discharge seepage which dihasilkan pada second pair with time to 24 hours of 42,019.10-3 cm3/det. Discharge water seepage into the soil when the water leaving the channel to the first pair at the time of 12 hours is 21,248.10-3 cm3/det and seepage generated at the second pair of 1,249.10-3 cm3/det.</text>
