A research had been done to identify mineral content of Cu and Fe in plasma and hair related to anemia case on female goat. Twenty female local goats at the age of 12-16 months taken from Kecamatan Darussalam and Kecamatan Baitussalam Kabupaten Aceh Besar were applied. The goats taken have the criteria of hemoglobin rate (Hb) and/or Packed Cell Volume (PCV) lower than normal level. Hair and blood were sampled in this research. Hair samples were taken from top tail area, while blood samples were taken from jugular vein. The result indicated that the average rate of Hb was 77 ± 0.7 mg/dl and PCV was 191 ± 1.3%. The average rate of Cu and Fe in plasma was 0.7 ± 0.16 and 67.8 ± 10.3 μg/ml, while in hair was 2.40 ± 0.511 and 315 ± 8.4 μg/g. The average rate of Cu in plasma was categorized as below normal, while the average rate of Fe in the range of marginal. Regression analysis showed that there was close correlation between Hb rates and PCV as well as the correlation of Hb rate and Cu rate in hair. However, there was no close correlation between Hb rate and Fe rate in hair. However, beyond that prospect, there are disadvantages of the milkfish which are able to be putrid easily and are not able to be kept for a long time. In addition, at the time of great harvest and the fish production is plenitude and less of the fish is in use that the price of the fish decreases sharply. The population of Aceh generally like to consume fresh and dried milkfish especially the people in the rural and highland. Based on the result of the previous research, the drying method which is done by putting the fish under direct sunlight is inefective as the sunlight is not perpetually present as expected. Even the quality of the product is low as the fish is contaminated by flies. In addition it requires large drying areas to produce large quantity fish. In this research, it is conducted eksperimental analysis and drying characteristic of the milkfish in the drying process by using drying equipment with gas fuel. The drying equipment used is the shelf type which is located in Thermal Engineering Laboratory, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Faculty, Syiah Kuala University. The equipment consists of burning room, drying room and chimney. The weight of  milkfish model is 200 grams, 250 grams, and 300 grams. Based on the test result on the milkfish weighted 200 grams after the drying process, it can be seen that the content of protein 18,97 %,fat 3,75%, water 19,20% with the total drying process of six hour. Pemanfaatan gas bumi dalam negeri cenderung meningkat dan diperkirakan akan mengalami defisit pada tahun 2022 jika tidak menemukan sumber gas bumi baru. Berbagai upaya dilakukan oleh pemerintah dalam menghadapi ketersediaan gas dalam negeri, baik mencari sumur-sumur gas baru, maupun mengubah bahan bakar padat batubara menjadi gas. Dalam penelitian ini kajian yang dilakukan adalah karakteristik dasar proses gasifikasi batubara muda Aceh dengan menggunakan pereaksi campuran karbon dioksida (CO2) dengan nitrogen (N2) sebagai gas dasar. Metodologi yang digunakan untuk mengkaji karakteristik dasar gasifikasi batubara meliputi penurunan massa dan komposisi gas yang dihasilkan selama gasifikasi. Penurunan massa selama gasifikasi dikaji dengan dapur pemanas listrik sedangkan komposisi gas dikaji dengan menggunakan gas chromatography (GC). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada temperatur ruang gasifikasi dengan variasi 180oC, 200oC, 600oC, dan 800oC. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi temperatur gasifikasi semakin besar persentase laju penurunan massa, yaitu mencapai 49% pada temperatur 180oC dan 54% pada temperatur 200oC. Potensi kandungan senyawa gas CH4 tidak terbentuk selama proses gasifikasi pada temperatur 180oC dan 200oC, sedangkan pada temperatur 600oC dan 800oC berpotensi terbentuknya CH4 masing-masing 10,28% dan 45,53%. Efisiensi gas dingin dari hasil gasifikasi pada temperatur 600oC lebih kecil dibandingkan pada temperatur 800oC.
