These symptoms lasted more than 24 hours or leading to death. Body temperature affects the condition of the body and affect the pathophysiology of systemic blood circulation and cerebral blood flow. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of body temperature to the severity of stroke in patients with acute ischemic stroke in the General Hospital of dr. Zainoel Abidin. This study was conducted by analytic methodology with cross-sectional design. Sampling was done by consecutive sampling as many as 52 samples. The research was conducted by taking the data and assess the patient's status through a questionnaire of NIHSS to check the severity of stroke. Data were analyzed by using univariate and bivariate methods. Bivariate method used Spearman's test with a confidence interval of 95% and ?= 0,05. The results of the study indicate that there is a relationship between body temperature with the severity of stroke in patients with acute ischemic stroke in the General Hospital of dr. Penelitian ini menggunakan kelenjar lingualis dan sublingualis dari satu ekor itik betina yang berumur satu tahun. Pengamatan dilakukan terhadap morfologi anatomi dan histologi serta kandungan karbohidrat dari kelenjar tersebut. kelenjar lingualis dan sublingualis difiksasi dalam larutan BNF 10% dan diproses menjadi preparat histologi dan diwarnai dengan pewarnaan hematoksilin-eosin (HE) serta pewarnaan alcian blue (AB) pH 2,5 dan periodic acid Schiff (PAS) untuk mendeteksi kandungan karbohidrat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelenjar lingualis tidak bisa diamati bentuknya karena terletak dibawah epitel lidah. Sedangkan kelenjar sublingualis memiliki bentuk memanjang dan tidak berbungkul seperti kelenjar umumnya, terletak diventral lidah (dorsoventral lingual) diantara os mandibula kiri dan kanan serta ditutupi oleh musculus digastricus venter oral. Pengamatan mikroskopis dengan pewarnaan hematoksilin-eosin (HE) diketahui bahwa kelenjar lingualis dan sublingualis merupakan kelenjar tubular kompleks. Hasil pewarnaan AB pH 2,5 dan PAS menunjukkan bahwa kelenjar lingualis dan sublingualis mengandung karbohidrat asam dan netral yang ditunjukkan reaksi positif dengan intensitas yang beragam mulai dari lemah (+) hingga kuat (+++) yang tersebar dibagian sitoplasma sel dan sekreta pada lumen kelenjar. Variasi yang diperlihatkan dari hasil pewarnaan AB pH 2,5 dan PAS berkaitan dengan adanya dinamisasi dari aktivitas sel kelenjar tersebut. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kelenjar lingualis dan sublingualis itik merupakan kelenjar tubular kompleks dan memilki tipe sel sekretoris mukus. Pewarnaan AB pH 2,5 dan PAS menunjukkan bahwa sitoplasma sel sekretori dan sekreta kelenjar lingualis dan sublingualis itik mengandung karbohidrat asam dan karbohidrat netral.Morphology and Content of Carbohydrates in Lingual and Sublingualis Glands of Duck (Anas plathyrinchos)ABTRACKThis study was aimed to find out the morphology and contents of carbohydrates in the lingual and sublingual glands of duck (Anas plathyrinchos). This study was using the lingual and sublingual glands of a one year old female of duck. Observation was studied on the morphology anatomy and histology and carbohydrates content of that glands. Lingualis and sublingualis glands was fixation in BNF 10% solution and processed into histological preparations and stained with hematoxylin-eosin staining (HE) than stained with alcian blue (AB) pH 2,5 and periodic acid Schiff (PAS) staining to detection of carbohidrat contens. The results showed that the lingual gland of duck can not be observed cause it was located below the epithelial layer of the tongue. While the sublingualis gland of duck has an elongated shape and not granulated like glands generally , located at ventral tongue ( lingual dorsoventral ) between the left and right of os mandibulae and covered by musculus digastricus venter oral. Staining of the AB pH 2.5 and PAS was showed that the lingualis and sublingualis glands containing acidic and neutral carbohydrates indicated a positive reaction with intensity ranging from weak (+) to strong (+++) spread section secretary at cytoplasm and lumen of the glands. Variations are shown from the results of AB pH 2.5 staining and PAS related to the dynamics of the activity of the lingual and sublingualis cell of that glands . From the study it can be concluded that the lingual and sublingual gland was found that the glands was a complex tubular glands and mucous secretory cells. Staining of the AB pH 2.5 and PAS was showed that the cytoplasma cell and secretary of glands containing acidic and neutral carbohydrates.
