Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis lalat buah dan menghitung preferensi terhadap beberapa varietas jambu air (cincalo putih, mawar, lilin merah, dan lilin hijau). Sampel jambu air diambil dari lima kecamatan (Kecamatan Syiah Kuala, Ulee Kareng, Kuta Alam, Lueng Bata, dan Meuraxa) di Kota Banda Aceh, pemeliharaan dan identifikasi jenis lalat buah dilakukan di Laboratorium Zoologi FMIPA, Universitas Syiah Kuala. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksploratif dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas empat perlakuan (empat varietas jambu air sebagai perlakuan) dan lima ulangan (lima kecamatan sebagai ulangan). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis varian (ANAVA) pola satu arah dan dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut Tukey. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan tiga spesies lalat buah yang menyerang empat varietas jambu air di Kota Banda Aceh yaitu Bactrocera dorsalis, B. albistrigata, dan B. carambolae. Bactrocera dorsalis dan B. albistrigata menyerang ke empat varietas jambu air, sedangkan B. carambolae hanya menyerang varietas mawar. Bactrocera dorsalis lebih memilih varietas mawar dibanding yang lainnya, namun tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan kecuali terhadap cincalo putih. Hasil penelitian diperoleh, 14 spesies serangga dari keseluruhan pengamatan yaitu: Geomyzaprius goffi, Saldula sp, Oecophylla smaragdina, Danaus plexippus, Lephelisca borealis, Balarchia archipu, Colias eurytheme, Celithemis elisa, Erythemes simplicicollis, Pachydiplax longipennis, Valanga sp, Neomida bicornis, Euchlora viridis dan Scotinophara lurida. Kesimpulan penelitian (1) terdapat 14 spesies serangga yang ditemukan pada tanaman palawija di kebun masyarakat Gampong Kareung Kecamatan Lhoong Kabupaten Aceh Besar, (2) terdapat 6 spesies serangga yang menguntungkan yaitu: Danaus plexippus, Lephelisca borealis, Balarchia archipus, Colias eurytheme, Oecophylla smaragdina, dan Neomida bicornis dan 5 spesies serangga yang merugikan yaitu: Valanga sp, Euchlora viridis, Scotinophara lurida, Geomyzaprius goffil dan Neomida bicornis pada tanaman palawija di Gampong Kareung Kecamatan Lhoong Kabupaten Aceh Besar. The objective this study is to know the resistivity variation and subsurface structures in the study area in 2D resistivity models and to interpret the model. The study is aimed to predict the subsurface structure of geothermal field in the area. Data of gravitational acceleration were measured using Scientrex CG-5 AutoGrav gravimeter. The measurements were done on two profiles. Profile 1 was measured from South to North direction and 12 kilometers long while profile 2 was from North to Northwest direction and 6 kilometers long. The tide and drift corrections were done automatically by the equipment. A series of corrections such as latitude, free air, Bouguer, and terrain corrections have been conducted in order to draw a clear anomalies from the data. The complete Bouguer anomalies data were used for 2D forward modeling using Grav2DC software. The results show that the studied area is consist of 4 layers of subsurface structures based on its densities. It is necessary to study English from an early age in order to achieve good mastery in it. To master English means to master the four skills in it and also the language aspects, including vocabulary. As one of the language aspects, vocabulary plays an important role in language learning. This study reports on pupils’ proficiency in mastering English vocabulary after three years of studying in elementary school. The writer chose 55 grade-four pupils of SD Methodist Banda Aceh as a sample for this study. They were given a vocabulary test related to reading and writing skills consisting of 26 items. The test was to be done in 20 minutes. After calculating the data, it was found that the mean score (x) of the pupils was 69.5, with the highest score at 92.3 and the lowest score at 26.9. More than 50% of the pupils could answer the questions correctly in less than 20 minutes. Only 4 out of the 55 pupils answered the questions less than 50% correctly and no one answered 100% correct. According to these results, this study showed that the pupils achieved good proficiency in vocabulary.
