Salah satu masalah yang terjadi pada pendidikan saat ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar fisika siswa. Berdasarkan observasi pada tanggal 22 Februari 2014 di kelas VII7 SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh, diperoleh informasi bahwa fisika merupakan mata pelajaran yang dianggap sulit dan kurang diminati oleh siswa. Selain itu, hasil belajar fisika siswa juga masih rendah. Hal ini dikarenakan oleh kurang tepatnya penggunaan pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru. Oleh karena itu penulis memilih pendekatan pembelajaran scientific untuk diterapkan pada materi kalor agar meningkatnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran scientific pada materi kalor di kelas VII7 SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh. (2) Untuk mengetahui aktivitas guru dan siswa dengan penerapan pendekatan scientific pada materi kalor di kelas VII7 SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh. (3) Untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru mengelola kelas melalui penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran scientific pada materi kalor di kelas VII7 SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh. (4) Untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan scientific pada materi kalor di kelas VII7 SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh. Teknik pengumpuan data pada penelitian ini dengan menggunakan instrumen- instrumen yang terdiri dari tes hasil belajar siswa, lembar pengamatan aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran, lembar pengamatan pengelolaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran scientific dan lembar respon siswa. Penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa : (1) Penerapan pendekatan scientific dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi kalor, (2) Aktivitas guru dan siswa sudah mencerminkan pembelajaran scientific, (3) Keterampilan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran materi kalor dengan menggunakan pendekatan scientific pada siswa kelas VII7 SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh secara umum pada siklus I termasuk dalam kategori cukup baik, siklus II termasuk kategori baik dan siklus III termasuk kategori baik sekali, (4) Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran scientific menyetujui kegiatan KBM dengan pendekatan scientific dan berminat untuk mengikuti KBM selanjutnya. Daily SST from NOAA AVHRR with spatial resolution of 0.5° in latitude and longitude was used to study upper oceanic response to the formation of Typhoon Songda. Meanwhile, 3-hourly meteorological data from ARP model with spatial coverage of 0.5° Latitude x 0.5° Longitude cover 201 x 101 points from 25° N - 20° S and 70.0° E – 170.0° E as well as 13 levels of atmospheric columns was also used in the study. The study was also supported by  MT-SAT satellite images. The result showed that from early disturbances until reaching mature stage of Typhoon Songda, SST over WNP reached averages temperature of 30˚C. Warm ocean waters continuously produce heat and moisture to the air that are necessary to fuel the genesis, development, formation and intensification of Typhoon Songda. The study also proved that light vertical wind shear (850 – 200 hPa) at about 0 – 5 knot was observed in the early development of Songda at 1800 UTC on May 19th. For the time being, weak vertical wind shear extended to the northwestern of Pacific Ocean. Thus, it made the system to moved toward northwest and reached category Super Typhoon few days later on May 26th. The study also showed the present of Monsoon trough. Monsoon trough occurred where easterly wind met the reversal southerly wind. The region was stretched from southeast to northwest part of WNP Ocean and designated by an extended low pressure area at the surface as well as extended bands of thunderstorms as observed by satellite imagery. On the other hand, potential vorticity shown in the present paper is useful to obtain an understanding of atmospheric motions and development of the upper-level disturbance. Potential vorticity maximum characterize strong vorticity and upward motion. Conversely, weak vorticity with downward motion is demonstrated by mininum potential vorticity. Data yang diperlukan dalam penulisan skripsi ini diperoleh melalui wawancara dan kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran Bappeda Kota Lhokseumawe dalam mengalokasikan anggaran untuk percepatan pembangunan Kota Lhokseumawe Tahun Anggaran 2013 yaitu dengan menggunakan Anggaran Berbasis Kinerja. Bappeda Kota Lhokseumawe memberikan anggaran ke dinas-dinas berdasarkan kinerja daripada dinas-dinas yang terkait yang berdasarkan Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah (RPJM). Seluruh anggaran yang akan diberikan ke dinas-dinas ataupun instansi pemerintahan kota sudah tertera didalam Prioritas Plafon Anggaran Sementara (PPAS). Sehingga terpilih sepuluh perusahaan manufaktur sebagai sampel yang selanjutnya dilakukan analisis regresi berganda dimana untuk menguji pengaruh secara parsial dan simultan. Ditemukan bahwa, secara parsial kepemilikan manajerial berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, kepemilikan institusional berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, dan keputusan pendanaan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. This study is approached by analysing the results of a field survey carried out using questionnaires, onsite measurements, and the relevant literatures. The further analysis in predicting the annual indoor thermal performance was conducted using TAS thermal analysis simulation software. The finding show that there is no significant difference in inside air temperature between thepost-tsunami housing and the unaffected existing housing (except traditional Acehnese houses). This study performs the actual indoor thermal performance in the post tsunami housing for couple of days and the predicted annual data of the houses simulated using TAS software. Plak dapat menginduksi gingivitis apabila oral hygiene padaanak-anak tidak dikontrol dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untukmenggambarkan distribusi frekuensi gingivitis dan oral hygiene murid SDN 22usia 10-12 tahun Kecamatan Baiturrahman Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini adalahpenelitian survei deskriptif yang dilakukan di SDN 22 Kecamatan BaiturrahmanBanda Aceh. Subjek penelitian adalah murid SDN 22 yang berusia 10-12 tahun.Pada subjek dilakukan pemeriksaan klinis yaitu pemeriksaan keadaan gingivadengan menggunakan pengukuran Papilla Bleeding Index (PBI) dan pemeriksaanoral hygiene dengan menggunakan Oral Hygiene Index Simplified (OHI-S).Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat. Hasil penelitian yangdilakukan pada 97 subjek, didapatkan 54 murid (55,7%) mempunyai gingivasehat dan 43 murid (44,3%) mengalami gingivitis. Gingivitis paling banyakterdapat pada usia 10 tahun yaitu sebanyak 18 murid (41,8%). Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan murid SDN 22 usia 10-12 tahun Kecamatan Baiturrahman BandaAceh rata-rata memiliki keadaan gingiva sehat dan keadaan oral hygiene yangsedang.
