The objective of study was to analyze the status of water pollution and heavy metal content on water, sediment and scallop in Tangerang Coastal Waters. The Storet index method was used to determine the status of pollution. Sampling was conducted for three times at two months interval. The content of heavy metals in water, sediment and scallop analyzed descriptively based on the applicable regulations. The results showed that the status of Tangerang Coastal Water was classified as moderate and hight polluted. Oleh karena itu siswa dituntut harus mampu menguasai materi Dimensi Tiga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Penemuan Terbimbing Pada Materi Dimensi Tiga di Kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini yaitu hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran materi dimensi tiga dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing di kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh mencapai ketuntasan yang diharapkan. Adapun yang menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh, yang tergabung dalam 5 jurusan yaitu: Bangunan, Elektronik, Listrik, Mesin dan Otomotif. Sedangkan yang dijadikan sampel adalah kelas XI jurusan TPTU yang masuk dalam jurusan elektronik. Sampel diambil 1 kelas yang dipilih secara random. Instrumen utama yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah tes hasil belajar siswa. Sedangkan instrument pendukung dalam pengumpulan data adalah lembar observasi kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran, aktivitas siswa, dan angket respon siswa. Untuk memperoleh data, penulis memberikan tes yang berkaitan dengan materi yang dipelajari dalam bentuk soal uraian. Untuk selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistic uji-t. Dari hasil pengolahan data pada taraf signifikan ? = 0,05 dan dk= 19, diperoleh thitung ? ttabel 3,71 ? 1,73 dan ini jelas berada dalam daerah tolak H0, H1 diterima. Pada tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Penemuan Terbimbing Pada Materi Dimensi Tiga di Kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh mencapai ketuntasan yang diharapkan. Perairan Natuna, khususnya pada Kawasan Konservasi Laut Daerah (KKLD) I diprioritaskan untuk mendukung kegiatan perikanan berkelanjutan, sehingga penting diketahui kualitasperairannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik kualitas air berdasarkan parameter fisika maupun kimia sebagai basis data terkini mengenai kualitas perairan Natuna pada musim transisi. Penelitian dilakukan di 31 stasiun pada bulan November 2012. Parameter kualitas air yang diukur antara lain kecerahan, derajat keasaman (pH), oksigen terlarut, suhu, salinitas, padatan tersuspensi total atau Total Suspended Solids (TSS) dan nutrien (nitrat, fosfat, silikat). Parameter pH, oksigen terlarut, suhu, dan salinitas diukur secara in-situ menggunaan alat water quality meter (TOA-DKK), kecerahan diukur menggunakan secchi disk, sedangkan sampel air di bawa ke laboratorium untuk dianalisis konsentrasi nutrien dan TSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai kisaran kecerahan yaitu 2-20,9 (m), pH 8,09-8,27, oksigen terlarut 6,34-7,96 (mg/l), suhu 29,2-30,6 (°C), salinitas 27,9-30,4 (PSU), TSS <3-26 (mg/l), nitrat 0,005-0,078 (mg/l), fosfat <0,005-0,015 (mg/l) dan silikat 0,045-0,704 (mg/l). Hasil penelitian dibandingkan dengan baku mutu air laut untuk biota laut berdasarkan Keputusan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup Nomor 51 Tahun 2004. Tilapia is an important fisheries comodity which intesively farmed in Indonesia. However, an intensive farming system of aquatic organism often lead to disease outbreak. Ones the disease emerged, it will be difficult to combat. The curing method by using antibiotics in aquatic organism will bring negative impacts, such as causing bacteria resistance and decline of aquatic environments. Therefore control of disease in aquatic organism should be done through preventive methods such as the use of β-glucan from baker’s yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). It is widely known that yeast’ cell wall contain of immunostimulant substance namely β-glucan. This research was aimed to find the effect of different dose of β-glucan in diet toward the phagocytic activity, respiratory burst which is indicated by Nitroblue Tetrazolium (NBT) activity, total of protein plasm and agglutination activity of tilapia blood. Method used in this study was experiment by complete random design using five treatments triplicate. Those treatments were β-glucan 0; 2,5; 5; 7,5 and 10 ppmkg-1 diet. Result showed that the different dose of β-glucan in diet gave a significantly effect on the phagocytic activity and total of protein plasm, but not on respiratory burst (NBT activity). The highest phagocytic activity occured in treatment E (β-glucan 10 ppmkg-1 diet) with the value of phagocytic activity was 37,67%, whereas the highest of total of protein plasm was occured in treatment B (β-glucan 2,5 ppmkg-1 diet) with the value of 123,58 mgml-1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsentrasi merkuri pada air laut pada ketiga stasiun di Perairan Kao Teluk berkisar antara 0,000239-0,000560 ppm. Konsentrasi merkuri pada sedimen berkisar antara 0,003-0,08 ppm. Konsentrasi merkuri pada keong berkisar antara 0,06-0,15 ppm. Berdasarkan Keputusan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup Nomor 51 Tahun 2004 tentang baku mutu air laut, dan US Environmental Protection Agencytentang baku mutu sedimen, serta World Health Organization/Food and Agriculture Organization (WHO/FAO) tentang keamanan pangan maka kandungan merkuri pada air, sedimen dan keong popaco masih berada dibawah baku mutu yang ditetapkan.
