Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak etanol daging buah Mahkota Dewa dalam menghambat pertumbuhan Pseudomonas aeruginosa secara In Vitro. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen laboratorium menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 kelompok perlakuan dan 2 kelompok kontrol sebanyak 5 kali pengulangan. Kelompok perlakuan terdiri dari ekstrak etanol daging buah Mahkota Dewa dengan konsestrasi 60%, 80% dan 100% sedangkan untuk kelompok kontrol digunakan larutan Carboxy Methyl Cellulose (CMC) 1%(kontrol negatif) dan antibiotik siprofloksasin (kontrol positif). Uji antibakteri dilakukan dengan metode difusi cakram. Data dianalis dengan metode Analisis of Varian (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat zona hambat pada konsentrasi 60% (8,7 mm),80% (10,2 mm) 100% (11,3 mm) dan antibiotik siprofloksasin (26 mm). Dari hasil uji ANOVA dan BNT, tidak terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antara perlakuan 80% dengan 100% sedangkan untuk perlakuan lainnya terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antar masing-masing perlakuan. This plant is containing calcium, phosphate and phyto-oestrogens. Hence the objective of the present study was to evaluate effect of the C. quadrangularis on bone recovery of rat. Sebanyak 15 sampel feses segar orangutan diidentifikasi dengan metode Carter. Koloni terpisah yang tumbuh pada media Eosin Methylen Blue (EMB) diamati morfologi dan dilakukan pewarnaan Gram serta dilanjutkan dengan uji biokimia dan gula-gula. Uji kepekaan dilakukan secara in vitro menggunakan metode Kirby-Bauer dengan bahan antibiotik disk ampisillin, streptomisin, tetrasiklin, kanamisin, dan ciprofloxasin. Diameter zona hambat diukur dalam satuan milimeter (mm) dengan menggunakan jangka sorong. Ditemukan 6 genus Enterobacteriaceae dari 15 sampel feses segar pada 3 kandang berbeda, yaitu Escherichia spp. (93,33%), Shigella spp. (46,67%), Salmonella spp. (33,33%), Edwardsiella spp. (26,67%), Kleibsiella spp. (13,33%), dan Citrobacter spp. (6,67%). Hasil uji kepekaan menunjukkan bahwa Enterobacteriaceae sensitif terhadap antibiotik ciprofloxasin tetapi resisten terhadap antibiotik ampisillin, sedangkan streptomisin, tetrasiklin, dan kanamisin intermediet. However, the formulations of T. virens from Aceh can be used as an alternative product for farmers in controlling black pod disease of cocoa. This research was conducted t the Laboratory of Plant Pathology College of Agriculture Syiah Kuala University and cocoa fruit samples obtained from cocoa plantations owned by farmers in Pidie Jaya District of Aceh. The purpose of the study was to obtain an application formulations strains of T. virensfrom Aceh, as one of the biological control study consisted of seven treatments, namely W (water), Pest (Mancozeb Fungicide), Det (Detergent), Det+Tv( detergent+strainsof T.virens), P+Tv (Adhesive +strainsof T.virens), Co+Tv( Corn Oil+strainsof T.virens), Po+Tv (Palm oil+strainsof T.virens) and each treatment was repeated 10 times to obtain70 experimental units. The parameters observed incubation period, disease incidence (%), and the diameter of the spots (cm). Application results show that the strains of T. virens Origin Aceh effective in controlling P. palmivora on cocoa pods and the best  formulation in controlling P. palmivora on cocoa pods are corn oil+T. virens formulation (Co +Tv) compared with other formulations are characterized by the length of the incubation period, the low incidence of P. palmivora disease, and the small diameter of the spots on the cocoa pods. This study aimed to determine the effect of biochar residue and NPK fertilization on soil chemical properties and yield of rice (Oryzasativa L.) season three.
