The use of chitosan in a pure state is limited by its poorly soluble in various solvents other than in aqueous weak acids. Moreover, chitosan films are brittle and fragile that it is difficult to use in the form of films for various applications. Long-term goal of this research is to obtain chitosan which is elastic by the addition of plasticizer. The specific target of this research is to obtain information about the effect of adding RBDPO and glycerol as plasticizer on the characteristics of the mechanical properties of chitosan. The research method was carried out in the laboratory experiments. Design research is conducted on a wide variety of compositions blending chitosan and plasticizer of RBDPO and glycerol on the mechanical properties including tensile strength and elongation. The relsulted blended sample is cast in the form of thin films and characterized by tensile strength test. The test results showed that the mechanical properties of tensile strength reaches optimum conditions where the plasticizer content of 30%, while the extension increases with increasing of plasticizer content. However, beyond that prospect, there are disadvantages of the milkfish which are able to be putrid easily and are not able to be kept for a long time. In addition, at the time of great harvest and the fish production is plenitude and less of the fish is in use that the price of the fish decreases sharply. The population of Aceh generally like to consume fresh and dried milkfish especially the people in the rural and highland. Based on the result of the previous research, the drying method which is done by putting the fish under direct sunlight is inefective as the sunlight is not perpetually present as expected. Even the quality of the product is low as the fish is contaminated by flies. In addition it requires large drying areas to produce large quantity fish. In this research, it is conducted eksperimental analysis and drying characteristic of the milkfish in the drying process by using drying equipment with gas fuel. The drying equipment used is the shelf type which is located in Thermal Engineering Laboratory, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Faculty, Syiah Kuala University. The equipment consists of burning room, drying room and chimney. The weight of  milkfish model is 200 grams, 250 grams, and 300 grams. Based on the test result on the milkfish weighted 200 grams after the drying process, it can be seen that the content of protein 18,97 %,fat 3,75%, water 19,20% with the total drying process of six hour. Metode demonstrasi adalah cara pengajaran yang sistematis untuk memudahkan pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar siswa di dalam kelas guna mancapai tujuan yang telah ditentukan melalui peragaan atau pertunjukkan tentang cara melakukan sesuatu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah melalui metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan kreatifitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran kuliner Aceh pada materi pembuatan dedah boh itek. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan 4 tahapan yaitu: Perencanaan, Tindakan, Pengamatan, Refleksi yang pelaksanaannya dilakukan dengan 2 siklus melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-1 SMP Negeri 9 Langsa, berjumlah 32 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data hasil ketuntasan belajar 32 siswa dalam proses pembuatan dedah boh itek dengan metode demonstrasi pada kondisi pra siklus diperoleh nilai hasil belajar rata-rata 67. Siswa yang mencapai nilai ketuntasan berjumlah 13 orang, pencapaian nilai rata-rata 75, dengan persentase (40,6%), dan yang belum tuntas berjumlah 19 orang, memperoleh nilai rata-rata 55, dengan persentase (59,4%). Hasil analisis data pada Siklus I tercatat bahwa rata-rata ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa adalah 73. Siswa yang mencapai nilai ketuntasan berjumlah 18 orang, dengan nilai rata-rata 76 (telah mencapai Nilai Ketuntasan Minimal atau KKM), dengan persentase (56,2%), sedangkan 14 orang lainnya memperoleh nilai rata-rata 64, dengan persentase (43,8%). Selanjutnya pada Siklus II, nilai ketuntasan praktek keseluruhan siswa rata-rata adalah 82, dengan persentase (100%). Mengingat hasil ketuntasan belajar siswa sudah mencapai 100% pada Siklus II, maka peneliti tidak melanjutkan lagi kegiatan pembelajaran pembuatan dedah boh itek dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi pada Siklus III. Dengan demikian ketuntasan belajar siswa dengan penerapan metode demonstrasi pada pembuatan dedah boh itek, pada setiap siklus mengalami peningkatan dan respon siswa terhadap pelaksanaan metode demonstrasi pada pembuata dedah boh itek sangat baik. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan pemberian posttes dan angket MAI (Metacognitive Awareness Inventory) pada akhir pembelajaran. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji t dan deskriptif. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa nilai t-hitung > dari t-tabel 1,645. Kesadaran metakognisi menunjukkan nilai t-hitung > t-tabel. Kesadaran metakognisi kelas eksperimen 1 adalah 0,74, kelas eksperimen 2 adalah 0,41 dan kelas kontrol 0,15. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya peningkatan kesadaran metakognisi dan hasil belajar kognitif dengan penerapan model SQ3R dan Learning Strategy dan adanya hubungan antara kesadaran metakognisi dan hasil belajar kognitif. The aim of the research was to study the role of       B. japonicum induced by genistein on soybean production. The experiment  used Randomized Complete Block Design Factorial with three factors. The first factor was genistein treatments consisted of without and with genistein. The second factor  was B. japonicum consisted of  without B. japonicum, B. japonicum isolate 1, B. japonicum isolate 2 and B. japonicum isolate 3.  The third factor  was soil water content condition namely 40%, 60% and 80% of field capacity.  The parameters observed were plant growth rate, relative growth rate, nett assimilation rate, dry weight/plant and dry weight of 100 seeds.  The result research showed that the treatment of interaction between B. japonicum induced  genistein under 80% of field capacity gave the higher plant growth rate, plant growth rate, relative growth rate, nett assimilation rate and dry weight of 100 seeds.
