This study was conducted to determine the effect of using cabecabe leaf (Lepidagathis javanica) into the ration on broiler performance. Design of this experiment was assigned to Completely Randomized Design (CRD) in 4 treatments and 5 replications. Each replication contained 5 chickens. The treatments were R0 = basal ration (as control), R1 = 97.5% of basal ration + 2.5% of cabe cabe leaf, R2 = 95.0% of basal ration + 5.0% of cabe cabe leaf and R3 = 92.5% of basal ration + 7.5% of cabe cabe leaf. Basal ration composed by corn, rice bran, soybean meal, coconut meal, fish meal, coconut oil, mineral mix and premix. Parameter measured was feed consumption, daily weight gain and feed conversion ratio. To determine the effect of treatment on the parameter was analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA) and the significant effect of treatment on the parameter was analyzed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Result of this study showed that using cabe cabe leaf into the ration significantly (P<0.05) decreased feed consumption. Daily weight gain and feed conversion ratio. Duncan’s Multiple Range Test showed that feed consumption and daily weight gain were significant (P<0.05) different between control and all level of cabe cabe leaf, however, feed conversion ratio was significant (P<0.05) different only between control and 7.5% of cabe cabe leaf in the ration. It is concluded that using 2.5% of cabe cabe leaf into the ration reduced feed consumption and daily weight gain but not influenced feed conversion ratio up to 5% of using cabe cabe leaf into the ration. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Konstuksi dan Bahan Bangunan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Syiah Kuala. Komposisi campuran bata kertas dam abu sekam halus terdiri dari semen, bubuk kertas, abu sekam halus dan air. Benda uji yang digunakan sebanyak 120 benda uji. Benda uji dibuat menggunakan jenis semen PCC, serta menggunakan campuran 1:4 dengan FAS 0,4 untuk campuran 40% (K) : 60% (AS), 50% (K) : 50% (AS) dan 60% (K) : 40% (AS). Pembuatan bata beton dengan campuran kertas dan abu sekam halus tersebut dilakukan dengan proses pemadatan dari 140% menjadi 100% volume bata beton dengan campuran kertas dan abu sekam halus, ukuran (5x10x20 ?cm?^3) untuk bata tunggal dan ukuran (5x10 x10 ?cm?^3) untuk bata berpasangan dengan tebal siar 1cm. Pengeringan bata beton dengan campuran kertas dan abu sekam halus dilakukan didalam ruangan (terlindung). Hasil pengujian kuat tekan bata beton dengan campuran kertas dan abu sekam halus menunjukkan bahwa bata tersebut tidak memenuhi syarat-syarat kekuatan bata menurut SNI-030348-1989 dan NI-10,1978:6. Nilai kuat tekan bata beton dengan campuran kertas dan abu sekam halus tunggal dengan perbandingan 50% (K) : 50% (AS) sebesar 12,49 kg/cm2, kemudian nilai kuat tekan tunggal dengan perbandingan 60% (K) : 40% (AS) naik menjadi 12,42 kg/cm2, dan nilai kuat tekan tunggal dengan perbandingan 40% (K) : 60% (AS) turun menjadi 11,63 kg/cm2. Nilai kuat tekan bata beton dengan campuran kertas dan abu sekam halus berpasangan dengan perbandingan 50% (K) : 50% (AS) sebesar 4,82 kg/cm2, kemudian nilai kuat tekan dengan perbandingan 60% (K) : 40% (AS) turun menjadi 4,59 kg/cm2, dan nilai kuat tekan dengan perbandingan 40% (K) : 60% (AS) naik menjadi 4,94 kg/cm2. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bata kertas dan abu sekam halus masih belum memenuhi persyaratan SNI-030348-1989, karena kuat tekannya kurang dari 21 kg/cm2. Data primer ini sebelumnya juga diuji kehandalan dan validitasnya dengan uji Cronbach Alpha dan Pearson Product-Moment Coefficient or Correlation. Tingginya aktivitas penduduk Kota Banda Aceh saat ini telah menyebabkan bertambahnya jumlah sampah. Tempat pemrosesan akhir sampah di Banda Aceh adalah TPA Gampong Jawa yang kapasitas penampungannya sudah melebihi daya tampung, sehingga telah dibangun TPA Terpadu Blang Bintang. Selanjutnya TPA Gampong Jawa akan dijadikan tempat stasiun pemilahan sampah. Pengelolaan sampah memerlukan manajemen yang baik dan biaya yang besar, terutama biaya operasional untuk pengumpulan, pengangkutan dan pengolahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyebab peralihan fungsi dan manajemen TPA Gampong Jawa menjadi stasiun pemilahan serta menganalisa sistem pembiayaannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di TPA Gampong Jawa Kota Banda Aceh dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dengan melakukan observasi dan wawancara pada Dinas Kebersihan dan Keindahan Kota (DK3) Banda Aceh. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisa SWOT dan alat bantu analisisnya USG ((Urgency, Seriousness, and Growth). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peta kekuatan organisasi peralihan fungsi TPA Gampong Jawa menjadi stasiun pemilahan berada pada kuadran I (pertama). Posisi ini menandakan peralihan fungsi TPA Gampong Jawa kuat dan berpeluang. Faktor penyebab peralihan fungsi menjadi stasiun pemilahan yaitu sistem pengelolan TPA dari sanitary landfill ke sistem stasiun pemilahan, telah dibangun TPA Sampah Regional Blang Bintang sebagai TPA pengelolaan sampah dan ketidakcukupan lahan TPA Gampong Jawa. Manajemen TPA Gampong Jawa ditinjau dari aspek teknik operasional yaitu sortir dan pemilahan sampah setelah diangkut ke TPA secara manual dengan bantuan manusia (pemulung) dan Buldozer. Pembiayaan berasal dari retribusi pelayanan dan anggaran Pemerintah Kota dan retribusi masyarakat. The high activity of the population of Banda Aceh today has led to the increasing amount of waste. Final waste processing site in Banda Aceh is the Gampong Jawa landfill in which its capacity already exceeds the reservoir, so it has been built Integrated final processing site (TPA) Blang Bintang. Furthermore, the landfill will be at the final processing site (TPA) Gampong Jawa, garbage sorting station. Waste management requires good management and a huge cost, especially the cost of operations for the collection, transportation and processing. This study aims to determine the cause of the transition function and Gampong Jawa landfill management into the sorting station and analyze the financing system. This research was conducted at the landfill Gampong Java Banda Aceh through quantitative methods. Data were collected through observation and interviews at the City Health and Beauty (DK3) Department Banda Aceh. Data analysis was performed using SWOT analysis and ultrasound analysis tool ((Urgency, Seriousness, and Growth). Result showed the maps of the strength of the organizational transition functions of Gampong Jawa landfill which then be the sorting station and it is in quadrant I (first). This position indicates the transition function of the Gampong Jawa landfill is strong and has the opportunity. Factors causing the transition function of a sorting station is the TPA management systems from the sanitary landfill system to the sorting station, has been built Blang Bintang Regional landfill waste as landfill waste management and landfill insufficiency Gampong Java. Gampong Java Management landfill in terms of aspects operational techniques, namely sorting and sorting of waste transported to landfill after manually with the help of humans (scavengers) and a bulldozer. Financing comes from the levy of service and municipal government budgets and public retribution.
